Sounds like it's a pity she decided to give up! I was going to say the review should be longer but on reflection with such a site I think it covers everything a user could need to know - sounds like there isn't so much content to review.
I guess I can understand changing your mind about being in the adult industry but my feeling is that as she's out there on the web already and can't undo that, she may as well continue and make some money - but I am sure she had her own good reasons.

Excellent review - sounds like they know they have a pretty unique niche so they're exploiting that which is sadly quite common. The price isn't outrageous but the "rotating content" model is - I wouldn't mind it so much but they seem to be using it as an excuse not to offer as many updates, which I don't think is fair.
I've certainly never come across this type policy before and it looks a pretty blatant attempt to keep you subscribing - if only sites would realise that treating customers well and providing regular fresh material is the best way to do that!
Oh well, good review.

Can't say it occurred to me but I suppose it might be interesting to see if they're a generous scorer or not to put their scores into context. If their average score rating is 70 and they give a site 95, it's gotta be special!

Excellent review - I was very curious about this site and waiting for your review of it since you mentioned it a while ago. Sounds like a typically British amateur production - hot concept badly executed.
The mainly non-downloadable videos is the main deal-breaker for me, and the way you can't tell if it's video or pics until you click, then seemingly only getting a slideshow if they felt like doing it for that particular set - so typical of this type of site!
Another great concept ruined by lazy webmasters I guess!
Was curious you mentioned regional billing as a plus - I thought it was generally seen as a bad thing on this site, a way of charging one region more - have I got that wrong?

Yeah this network of sites is really annoying and disappointing me. They make some of the best porn in the business and then ruin it with crappy service and stupid site policies.
I think if they improved the service they could afford things - I'd love to know what their site turnover rate is - must be the highest in the industry!
Not surprised Straighthell didn't get back to you - they probably won't. Whatever the real reason, and the "anonymity of models" excuse is so patently ludicruous it's insulting - they're not going to change it any time soon.
I've just cancelled my subscription to another of their sites - First Auditions - updates too erractic, no new Groping Hands, expensive - it's just not worth staying a member - just go in and out every few months.

I would if it offered a good reducation in price per month and I knew and trusted the site to keep updating and keep the quality up. There's very few sites that I would trust to that extent, sadly.

As a lifelong Golden Girls fan I was amazed to see they did a parody of that! Can't say the actresses were very convincing but it was kinda funny!
I quite liked the Cheers parody as I always loved Ted Danson and the actor playing him is kind of like him.
Certainly worth checking out the preview just for a laugh!

Was curious to read a review of yours, and the 99 rating and the site attracted me. You do a good job of justifying the high score in a well-written review. I love humiliation in BDSM and I have looked at this site in the past as I've joined the gay versions of kink.com sites.
Even I found the previews hot so they must be doing something right! The gay version, Bound in Public, is hot but somehow just a little too polished and not quite as daring or sleazy feeling - I guess to be fair they're all filmed in the US and the gay element makes it even riskier.
Great review of a great site.

Hi manhole and cheers! Yes it's a very hot site with a friendly feel and the amateur feel is exactly what appeals to me. If it wasn't streaming-only I'd rejoin in a flash but sadly the lack of downloads is a dealbreaker for me - had I realised it was streaming only I would never have joined, but like rearadmiral I didn't realise there was such a thing as a streaming-only site when I joined!
The content is hot but the lack of updates and streaming only is the downfall. I find most amateur sites mean amateur service to go with it - friendly, but not very frequent updates etc. That's the downside. The trouble is they'll tell you they're just a small group of friends doing it for fun which is fine, but they're still charging same as the more professional sites!
If someone could take amateur content and package it up in a really professional website operation, you'd have my perfect site, but sadly it seems to be ultra-professional and airbrushed or amateur and erratic!

Hey rearadmirsal yeah it shocked me too! I did actually write about that in my review but I ran out of space so I had to edit that part out.
I had no idea when I joined it was streaming-only as I had no idea such sites existed! They didn't pretend to be fair, nothing on the preview says you can download, I just kind of assumed you could! I've since found out there are other streaming-only sites so I'm extra careful now to avoid them.
Like you say I like to have something to show for my money! I guess people who only watch something once and never agsin would say it was like renting a DVD instead of buying one, but I like to keep my favourite scenes. Besides, streaming sites often only seem a little cheaper or not cheaper at all, so it's hard to see the benefit.
Thanks for what you say about the gay community, I didn't find it patronising at all! I wish there were more gay reviews on the site but hey I'm part of the community so if we want something we've got to do it for ourselves, just hope more gay people will join the site - hopefully the more gay reviews the more of them will join and it'll grow like that.

Sounds one weird site to me - like you I don't get the smoking thing at all. I guess it might be to make the women appear relaxed and like they're in control but to me it's a bit odd and makes it sound like they're not really into it - who smokes DURING sex if they're not bored?! After maybe!
The whole point of CFNM is fantasy so the gonzo style is just not appropriate for it - sounds like a lazy site where they haven't understood the genre at all, just tried to cash in one a new craze.
I hate non-updating sites too!
Great review, will leave this one WELL alone.

Wow, now that's what I call a review! Very comprehensive - there's no question I can think of you haven't answered in full - but you manage to capture the spirit and "feel" of the site too which is most important. Well done!
On a seperate note, I am impressed with the way they responded to your complaint but still not very impressed with their download limits or the fact they didn't make it clearer in the first place. Still, they did rectify it and that kind of good service to customers is so rare on porn sites. Most of them seem to forget you are a paying customer!

I agree - the site was always primarily a photosite but half-heartedly did add some videos later. Even then though they kept the photos, so even if you hated videos why would you demand they be removed as long as the photos remained?
To stop doing videos right in the middle of a series is particularly annoying and unfair to paying customers.
The irony is I never thought their photos were that great anyway - clear enough but hardly the big sizes you'd expect from a photo-only site.
All very disappointing. Even if they reversed this decision it puts me off rejoining the site because they seem to think nothing of reversing decisions on a whim, so who says they wouldn't do it again?
So many sites have great content wrecked by this awful attitude to customner service, sadly this is one of them!

I agree with other posters, I had to put "Other" as I am not clear what this is. I don't think I've come across it on any site I've joined. Having read the replies I'm still not sure, but they don't sound like they're much to get excited about.
I hate "bonus" content - I just want a high-quality site which focuses on its core theme and does it well - quality not quantity. Most of us have a LOT of quantity of porno, but mainly because so much of it just isn't quite right.
I don't want more choice, I just want nicer things!
(Bonus points if you know who I'm quoting in that last line sweetie!)

Sounds like, unusually for a website, it might actually be better value to buy DVDs with the money you'd spent on this site. Sounds like a real rip-off so good warning to stop others being ripped off - a well-written review too. Let us know what CCBill say - I've always been curious as to whether you'd be allowed to get a refund if you notified them right away that the site was poor quality.

Review could have done with a bit more detail as said but you have really captured the essence and "feel" of the site well in your review, which I think is most important, so well done.
Excellent to see an actual response to the review from the site owner too, especially as it's honest and helpful. If only more sites paid attention to their customers and reviews more, we'd all be better off!

Agree with you and Mbaya - can't see the point of this type of site at all. Just hanging round for hours waiting for a glimpse of cock - if it's not about sex why do they have the private shows etc? If it isn't, what is it? Just an expensive and even less interesting Big Brother?!
