I do believe that you are correct. Looking at comments on her site, it was noted that the site opened January 2007, but the site currently shows the first update dated July 2007, so it looks like they chopped off the first 6 months to use as "new" updates.
This site and Mya Diamond.com are both dead sites - they just recycle the old material over and over again to produce "new" updates. If you go to Freeones.com and look under Eve Angel and Mya Diamond, you can see samples from the sets that they continuously recycle with their original copyright dates.
I've been making this point for quite some time about this site and the Mya Diamond - I consider the people that run these sites among the most dishonest on the net and have been saying so as loudly and repeatedly as possible.
Have problems logging onto their sites and you better have the persistence of a demon because you'll need to follow these fucking thieves to every possible place and scream loudly in order to get them to ever respond.
Look at Freeones.com and you will see dated 2005 material for Eve Angel and Mya Diamond that was then re-posted as new. The people that run these sites are operating dead sites and just recycling the material.
It's nice material if you haven't seen it before but there hasn't been any new material posted to either site for a good long time - to figure out how long, one could figure out from the samples posted at Freeones.com approximately when the sites actually started, compare that to the earliest currently available and then you'll know how much was cut off from the beginning to repost as new.
The company that runs this site and Mya Diamond's site is as bogus as bogus can be, in my opinion. On both sites, they have been just taking their oldest material and tacking it on as new updates for quite a while. You can go to Freeones.com and see material that they have posted as "new" with dates from 2005 on them.
Of course, as with any other site that has a substantial archive of material, if you haven't been there before, it can be new to you, but it's not new material, it's just old stuff tacked on as new with no improvements to them whatsoever - when I was a member of Mya's site, I compared the size of re-posted pic sets and they were exactly the same - no improvements.
Actually, I read in her blog that "that prissy Jana Cova" recently did a bj web cam show. I haven't joined her site recently to see it was archived. I had been checking out her blog to see how she felt about having her contract end with Digital Playground. She seems pretty positive about it (Jana Cova is a VERY positive woman generally), sounds like she is looking forward to the freedom from being a contract girl. She's not promising that she'll be doing more b/g stuff, but you never know.
I just found proof positive of my allegation that Mya's site is a dead site - only "updated" with 2 year old sets carved off from the early days of the site. One of the most recent sets - "Sandy Loves Mya" - was posted on the 23rd and 24th of September 2007, right?

I'm still convinced that they are doing NO new work at Mya's site and only cutting off the oldest stuff and re-posting it as new. I've got to say, though, that it appears that all of the "new" content is recycled. The archives keep getting to be shorter and one of the hottest sets posted this month, "Pipedream", which was posted 8/09/07, has a customer comment from 2/28/07.

You are the absolute worst webmasters I have experienced in my freaking life, I swear!
One issue that I found with this site, which is supposed to be updated every day, is that there have been days at a time when the only thing you could do with a new day's set was to save it to your "Favorite Sets" area. You couldn't browse the set, you couldn't download the zip of the set.
I also found that their webmasters seemed to be snoozing when this would be going on - members would be posting in the forum about these issues with NO webmaster responding and Eve herself never seems to participate on that level.
If they tighten up the site so that the updates are not just as scheduled but you can actually do something with each update, that would be better and if they can get a webmaster that is responsive to member complaints, that would also be a huge help.
I tend to like the 3-month deals since it lowers the monthly cost. I just went for their 3-month deal fairly recently, though, so I'll probably pass on this one - but it's a good deal for people like me that gravitate to 3-month joins on an ordinary basis.

Agreed - great site, especially when you consider the incredibly deep archives. I was a bit disappointed in the current new videos until they started adding Angelo Godshak's stuff. His stuff, Rocco's new stuff and Joey Silvera's occasional new TS scenes are my favorites.
Be VERY VERY wary of purchasing add-ons from this company - their system can't figure out what is going on and you'll be having your memberships deactivated for abuse constantly. I purchased a 30-day add-on of zero tolerance and it's been nothing but problems. Here is an email that I am just about to send:

And the great thing is that if your EA membership extends into a 2nd or 3rd year, you won't be paying any additional to continue to be a member of AdultTime under that deal.
I'm sure I won't be answering all your questions, but I've got a lot of experience with add-on sites. They can be a good deal, but only if you have a good enough deal on the main site - the one that you're adding onto - that you plan on staying there for a long period of time.
Add-on's only last as long as your membership to the main site - the one that you added onto - continues. So if you add onto Evil Angel, and then let your EA membership lapse, that's it for the add-on(s), they're gone. if you resubscribe to EA a month later, that's going to be a completely new membership and will not retrieve the add-on that you lost by having your EA membership lapse.
Adult Time is NOT part of the basic EA membership, though they went in together on that I Am Riley Reid DVD, and there are a few EA scenes on Adult Time. As the OP wrote, Adult Time is available as an add-on and as I wrote, the add-on would ONLY continue to be available so long as your membership to EA continued.

With all the cookie cutter sites out there, Evil Angel is most definitely NOT. EA is a company that was based on the idea that they would provide a platform for their directors to do their own type of porn, as idiosyncratic as it was, and EA would help them distribute it, and help them make as much money from their work as possible. EA continues in that same vein today. John Stagliano's work is not like Jan Sin's work, whose work is not like Joey Silvera's work, whose work is not like Rocco Siffredi's work, whose work is not like Proxy Paige's work, etc. So when you're a member of EA, you're going to be able to explore a lot of different visions of what intense porn can be, by really talented people, and they're not fitting into someone's requirement of "it has to have this, that & whatever to fit in EA". I really respect the way that EA dealt with the pandemic. When they realized, it was going to affect their ability to create new product, they addressed it (more in botom line)

I can't say that I like every single scene on this site, but that's true of every site that I've ever joined.
Bottom Line:
EA's tag line is "Life's Too Short For Soft Porn". If that tag line strikes a chord with you, intrigues you, makes you want to see what people can do with that concept, it's hard for me to see how you would be disappointed by this site. As I wrote above, they've got a large group of directors creating product that they distribute, and some of them - Stagliano, Silvera, Rocco - are easily among the best film-makers that have ever made porn. Joey Silvera makes almost all of his performers look better than they have ever looked anywhere. Rocco gets more intense performances out of his partners than they have ever had for anybody else. And Stagliano is just an incredible film-maker and a fascinating guy. Part of what I really like about EA is that it's an adult site in every way. They don't do things in bush-league ways & that pays dividends for the site & for members of the site. Mike Adriano used to distribute all of his stuff through EA. At a certain point, he decided to pursue his dream of having his own sites. EA had a good enough relationship with him that they host 4 new streaming-only Mike Adriano scenes every month. Promos for Adriano's sites & great content for EA members. EA has a great relationship with Adult Time, so they have partnered with Adult Time to present live shows throughout the pandemic & they also worked together on Riley Ried's recent "I Am Riley" compilation, which also included material from Riley's site. EA also did a porn-at-home series to provide more new unique content during the pandemic & encouraged fans & EA directors to create compilations of EA scenes. If you want to get more into what EA's film-makers think about the art & business of porn, there are videos where EA directors get into it in depth, including fascinating conversations about what is the difference between rough sex that is enlivening to all the participants and rough sex that is just using & exploiting the female performer(s). That's an important conversation for film-makers that are exploring the harder side of porn to be having. This is a site that is made to be explored. There are various channels that you can dig into featuring different directors. There's a huge list of pornstars on EA you can explore, and often when you bring one up, the site will display suggestions of other pornstars on the site, whose work you might want to check out. You could play challenge games trying to come up with any top pornstars of the past period that do not have scenes on this site. The site currently has 19,025 scenes, including bts & conversational videos. That's an incredible amount of material. There's a sexual preference lever so you can choose how much lesbian, bisexual or trans material you want displayed, if any. Current scenes have 8 options for downloads, from 160 p to 2160 p (4K). Photos per scene vary greatly. Some directors shoot hundreds of photos per scene, some directors very few. Photos can be downloaded as zips & the photos to be 1280 x 1920. I also really like that this site doesn't sit on it's laurels. They're always looking for new directors, they're often coming up with interesting projects, like the one they did a while back with cam girls doing their first professional shoots with top film-makers. I HIGHLY recommend this site.
It was Joey Silvera's incredible photography & choice of models that taught me that I was hot for some TS models, which was a surprise to me, because for some time, whenever I would check out a forum that had a "hottest TS models" thread, I would always think, "guy in drag". Then I saw a scene that Joey shot with Melzinha Bonekhina and I was like, "holy fuck! That is one incredibly sexy human being!" and I've continued to be fascinated ever since. Unfortunately, Melzinha herself did very few scenes, but these days you've got Daisy Taylor & Khloe Kay & a whole lot of Asian ladyboys that are truly scrumptious. EA's TS material is truly the tip of the iceberg. Grooby is the company that has been doing TS material the longest with umpteen sites that have their own particular focus.
It's kind of like when you see pre-code movies from the early 1930's - the violence, the darkness, the blunt language, the sexual innuendo, the roles that women played - it's shocking when you see what was going on before the movie industry was leashed - and it's the same with porn of that early era - and the fact that it was all being played in movie theaters across the country is even more mind-blowing.
I think the thing about Water Power is that it didn't seem to be a film that was made to shock people, like Lizzie Borden and those types made - it was just a really really dark nasty story being told in porn form.
That's exactly the movie I saw. Definitely one of the harshest porn films I ever saw in a Pussycats theater, though there was usually 1 non-consensual scene in every movie of that era, sometimes a Lolita-ish scene as well. Porn movies got a bit more tame shortly after that.
