"In response to the first comment: We are not going to change this. In a photoset of 200-400 pictures there may be 5-10 photos where we will step back and show the crew helping out. Whether it is Jimmy holding the video light or Jeremy videotaping the model, or maybe just an overview shot of the entire set, there are so few shots like this that I do not understand how it can be a problem. So my response to that comment is: get over it, man. If that bothers you, "wow!" Just delete those few shots from your set. The value in providing those behind the scenes shots is greater then the possibility of it upsetting a few uptight people. Especially when it is so easy to just delete the pictures that you do not like.
In response to the second comment: I see your point. Not everything we do will appeal to everybody. That is impossible. But we use baby oil in 1 or 2 (out of 7 or 8) sets that we shoot of a model because those are the sets that consistently get voted the highest. Not to mention I constantly receive emails from members saying how much they like that wet, baby oil look. Again, we try to please the masses but we cannot please everybody. As for the lollipops: yes, we have been using them for no more than one (1) set with each model lately. They offer the perfect prop that can give the model something to play with and it can be inserted nicely into the pussy and looks great going in and out. We are always open to new ideas on different things that we can have the models play with and insert, but the lollipops work so well and the models love them. Remember ALS Scan is about finding the hottest models in the world that are willing to insert the craziest things, presented in the highest photo and video quality on the internet, everything from glamour to hard shots. Anybody can find pretty girls and photograph them dancing around and posing, but get them to spread their pussies, or even better, stretch them to the max and insert wild and crazy objects, well THAT is what we do like nobody else can. Keep the ideas coming but they have to be reasonable and not hurt the model in anyway. Is everybody going to like everything we do? NO! But we do try our best and are open to new ideas such as finding something better to insert than lollipops.
My response to the third comment is simple. No worries, it is an extra feature and will never take away from any of our normal updates or offerings. It merely presents more material to our members at no cost that they may not have ever seen."

If you were a member over a year ago and were looking for some improvement, there has been considerable. They stopped taking vids off the network - they all stay up except for bonuses, which are for limited time only.
They also changed the layout so that all pic sets and vids can be accessed under the model's name.
They also put the polls in their own section, so if there are any open polls as to which older sets they should upgrade first or which sets of new models they should release first, you can find them easily and vote rather than e-mailing Alex.
I love this site, so I just want them to keep on going - and upgrading as the technology gets better, which they are very committed to.
How do they get the girls so smooth and bump-free? Photo-shopping. Alex once showed some before-and-after pics because members were asking how much photo-shopping they did and he is an honest guy. They just photo-shop the bumps and blemishes etc and leave everything else the way it it. As to the vids, it's an interesting question, since they look just as clean and bump-free - soft lenses?

I'm adding a comment because I feel that it's incorrect to infer that this site is some one-note site where every vid and pic set is the same. I've spent a fair amount of time watching their new bonus set at the beach from their Caribbean trip this year and it is amazing. Perhaps I mis-read the line where you described the number of zips you would need to down-load - if people want to download an entire site that has been around for as long as ALS Scan, they should definitey expect to be downloading huge numbers of zips.
Your description of the zip issue is not correct - unless there is an error with a particular photo set, the fewest you should be able to download are a full page worth of pics at a time, not 1 zip per pic. If you're finding a problem where that is not the case, you should notify their Support people, who want to know about these things so they can fix them. I know others here have complained about having to download 1 page of pics at a time, and that's a valid criticism.
The bigger-boobed models that they shoot are on their sister site, ALS Angels, which doesn't have nearly the updates as ALS Scan.
This was kind of a new initiative they were doing to please long-time members who had been requesting more of the girls they remembered from years before.
That was one bonus that I didn't care for either, but I didn't invest much time in it. Alex had warned that the quality wasn't going to be up to today's standards, so I downloaded one of the smaller vid files and decided that I wouldn't want to spend the time or space going further. They did it for the same reason they have done other things - lots of members asked. Good for them. I just wasn't one of them.
Some might love the emphasis on pee-ing and weird insertions. Some might be turned off by same.

And they are always working on upgrading the site in significant ways.
Now they have made a leap in their navigation, which was rather atomized and not so great. You had the pics under Feature Models, you had vids under Video Releases, you had vids under Directors Hottest Videos.
Now you can look in a few different places if you want, but if you are hot for a particular girl, you click on her at Feature Models and you have the links to everything they have of her under all sections.
The quantity of available vids is way beyond 100 - you might have missed the link that says "click here for more downloadable vids" - and that's just in the "new vids" section. Then they have a bonus up right now that's another 10 vids and the "Director's Best" section.
The vids section should continue to grow since they add a new one every day and no longer archive them - they haven't done so since April 2007, I believe.
I agree with you on this site - gorgeous girls beautifully photographed and video'd - all very high quality - being naughty as hell. I love this site.
For people that don't like the director's voice, it's easy to avoid the "photoshoot" vids, which are the ones where he talks, because he's working. He isn't going to get the great photos that he does without talking to the models and his assistants, so I'm fine with him yakking away. I've gotten used to his voice - he doesn't come off like a sleaze, like a lot of guys that yak during their vids.
I don't know when you were a member last, or why you're writing a "What happened to them?" comment if you haven't been a member in a while to see the quality of what they have been presenting, but for 8 months or so they stopped rotating off the vids, except for bonuses. I think their new models have been damned hot.

1) Alex isn't gay. He's married, has a couple of kids. I got the same impression that you had from his voice originally, but this is the story. He doen't think his voice is all that good either, but talks to get the most out of the models and the best shoots. For my tastes, he achieves that.
2) Their vid releases are clearly labeled as to whether they are photoshoots or not. The ones that are not only have Alex talking for a few seconds at the beginning at most - maybe he'll say "Hi" to the model and get her to tell us what she's going to do in the vid. Many of them, if the model is confident enough to talk to the camera, especially, he won't even do that. Looking at the last 10 vid releases, 60% have been non-photo shoot vids, so the amount of talking that Alex would have been doing in those would have been slim or none.
Alex's stated view is that he does the photoshoot vids more so that people can see what goes on in a real photoshoot than as stroke material. He's into that "educational" role of the site. One of my very favorite bonuses in the past year was a huge vid package showing a shoot in Czech from the time the crew woke up in the morning until they went back to their hotel at night. Given that the crew included Nella and Amber Rayne, both of whom were hotter than the models in the shoots, I was thoroughly entertained.
Send an e-mail letting Alex know what models you would like to see them shoot. If the model's still working and still hot and still has natural boobs, it's always possible. I e-mailed the other day about Kylie Wylde and got a quick response that he might be getting in touch with her to see how she's looking these days - pretty hot, the last I've seen!
I so agree - No other site continues to entertain me in the way that ALS Scan does - their bonuses are utterly unique, educational at times and entertaining on many levels - I've never seen another site do anything like their new Production Behind The Scenes Bonus - an entire day of a shoot for 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Most of this bonus is stroke material, but it's all completely entertaining to me.
This seemed like a fair review to me, though I disagree with it on key points, ALS Scan being a site that I compare all other younger women sites to for excitement factor. I actually find that this site is good at showing the lighter-humored aspects of their models. I don't believe that any other site has ever show-cased Susana Spears as being such a cheerful woman as ALS Scan did, instance.
