How many porn movies have there been with real plots and anything substantial in them? Kris Kramsky did a couple of things that mixed hot sex scenes in with other stuff that was much better than your average porn movie, but other than that...
The Vivid & Wicked stuff that purports to have real plots is boring crap, in my opinion. Vignettes can often be fun - just set up a situation that leads fairly quickly to sex after some tease elements and I'm happy.
ALS Scan has done a number of scenes that I have really liked where the models just talked to the camera before doing a great masturbation scene. That worked well with girls, like Courtney Simpson, that had the confidence and wit to pull that off.

Actually, pat362, female ejaculation started being shown in US porn in the 80's with movies like The Graffenberg spot. But it's gotten much more over the top, like everything else in porn does.
I've seen squirting vids that are fake as 4 dollar bills with CG squirting - and then I've seen scenes like Amber Rayne at ALS Scan where she literally covered the camera man, much to his shock and delight, and that's as real as it gets.

I was thinking that the poll was referring to sites that present themselves as review sites, but now that I understand what was meant, my answer is even more definitely "yes", because not only are some porn portals full of redirects and bad sites, but many are also filled with viruses of all kinds.

Since I can find similar info at a number of review sites, the number of review sites that I spend any time on are the ones - well, actually one - this one and The Best Porn - that I feel really make an attempt to give accurate info. There is good discount site info at Rabbits Reviews, I think it is.
Other "review" sites tend to just be advertising vehicles hoping that you'll join the sites through their link so they pick up an affiliate fee. I'm sure that TBP also makes money that way, but it certainly doesn't stop TBP from striving to do honest reviews.
Raven Riley's reviews page is a perfect example of one that I believe exists solely as an affiliate page, and I would have more respect for that whole thing if it presented itself that way.

If you were deciding between this site and Met Art, I'm afraid that you definitely chose wrong. Met Art just has a LOT more variety, given the number of content producers that work with them. There's great stuff every day there. Hegre has Hegre and he's got his tastes and his way of doing things.
In terms of vids, though, I MUCH prefer Hegre's vids to the Met Art vids. Met Art vids, with very few exceptions that I've seen, couldn't be more boring if that were the whole intent of them - horrible, horrible, boring crap videos, no matter how great looking the women are that are in them or how "high-quality" they are - uchhhh!
Hegre, to me, often has a quirky sense of humor at work in his vids, and I frequently enjoy them. Met Art is, in general, though, a much better, more enjoyable site.

There definitely seems to be a back-and-forth conversation between Japanese and US-porn. My fave US-porn guys, like Jules Jordan, have definitely shown signs for years of being influenced by Japanese porn, and watching some of the more hard-edged rough and kinky stuff being produced by DAS and Attackers, it seems that they are repaying the favor by picking up on some of Jules' ideas - since in both cases, they're picking up tips from the best rather than the most mediocre people working, it's a really good thing, in my view.

I raise the "unattractive guys" thing as a con mainly as a response to the sentiments that I've seen expressed in this forum.
For my tastes, being an ordinary-looking guy, there's actually a cool element for me in all these ordinary looking guys having naughty fun with these hot girls in Japanese porn.
The bigger turn-off for me is seeing the Wicked and Vivid-style stuff where they're just looking for the guy to be a hard dick to use with the girl and there's no groping, stroking, squeezing of the luscious bods of the girls or any sign of attraction by the guys. Your description of the zip issue is not correct - unless there is an error with a particular photo set, the fewest you should be able to download are a full page worth of pics at a time, not 1 zip per pic. If you're finding a problem where that is not the case, you should notify their Support people, who want to know about these things so they can fix them. I know others here have complained about having to download 1 page of pics at a time, and that's a valid criticism.
The bigger-boobed models that they shoot are on their sister site, ALS Angels, which doesn't have nearly the updates as ALS Scan.

The site access problem that I had was quite temporary - I went in later and had no problems.

Here's how it went. I got a trial sub to another of their sites. When I called to cancel, I said, "Hey, I've always wondered what the difference is between this site and Cyberclub."
