If you are looking for more Japanese sites, Sex Asian 18 is one you might consider. Site has a number of very attractive models, photosets and videos. They have a daily download limit which was 12 GB at the time I was a member back in July 2009.

I hadn't given it a lot of thought previously, but Turboshaft brings up an interesting idea: "I mean if a hot girl needed to have her appendix taken out, who are we to judge the scar that it left behind?" Should we ban all porn stars with appendix scars, or allow them in as long as the scar has been photoshopped with taste? My honest opinion is that most appendix scars are less distracting than tattoos and piercings.

Some photoshop is acceptable if it improves the picture. But photoshop can be overdone and produce artificial-looking results. Some photographers go way overboard in using photoshop so that the model appears to be an alien instead of a beautiful earthling. My feeling is that photoshop (or a similar process) is being over-used lately at Met-art, and the photosets are less attractive because of it.

I try to balance price versus content (quality and quantity of content), to make a rough guess as to whether a site is worth joining. I do read the reviews at PU to get an idea of the site contents (quality + quantity of photosets, frequency of updates, ease of site navigation, and any problems the site might have.

There were no updates in all of 2008.
The updates in 2009 just started a few months ago.
That is why the site is offering a free one-year membership to anyone who had a 1-year membership in 2008.
They are also offering a free 6-month membership to anyone who bought a 1-year membership in 2009 during rhe period it was not updating.
I joined for 1 year in March 2009, so I am supposed to get a free 6-month extension of my membership. I sent an email requesting the extension on Dec. 01, but have received no reply yet.

Porn videos are mainly acting, and most porn actors leave a lot to be desired. Nice looking face and body are plusses, but like pat362 and pinkerton state, if the girl looks like she is making out a grocery list while she getting fucked, or her moans, groans and excitement are so obviously fake, it takes away from the value of the scene.

Drooler, have they been using more photoshop or a similar process at metart? I don't mind some photoshop at metart, but lately it seems to be used over-much and the photosets, even of attractive models, are less appealing. The coloring and appearance of the model seems fake instead of real.

I think it's easier to find good quality softcore pics than hardcore material (pics and vids).
But most softcore vids don't really appeal to me that much.
I don't know why softcore pix are so much better than softcore vids. In general, it's easier to produce pix than vids, so that's part of the reason why softcore pix are much higher in quality than softcore vids.
Most hardcore pix that I've seen are much lower in quality than the softcore pix that are available.
But even given that quality pix are easier to make than vids, I don't understand why most softcore vids have very little value for me.
Except that with vids, there are so many more factors that can detract from the enjoyment of the vid compared to a picture. A lovely girl opens her mouth, and her voice or what she says in a vid destroys the illusion of beauty, grace, attractiveness, etc. The lighting and focus and other elements in a vid are much harder to control than for a picture. It's much more expensive shooting a video than a photoset. The detail/definition of a picture can be much higher than what is found in most videos. Etc., etc., etc. High quality softcore pix are found at many sites.
There are not a lot of high-quality softcore vids that appeal to me. There are few high-quality hardcore pix that appeal to me. There are high-quality hardcore vids, but they are much harder to find and collect than high-quality softcore photosets. Sorry if I was rambling, but the ideas I stated are the ones I believe.

A lot of porn sites are run by people who speak/write very little English, so that might be part of the reason the responses from the web sites to questions can be poor.
Another reason for the poor quality of responses to questions can be a lack of interest on the part of the site personnel to answering questions.
Some sites have a positive attitude about customer service and try to provide a quality experience, or at least spend the time and effort to answer questions helpfully. But there are a lot of porn sites where the help section is apparently asleep or on vacation. I've found some sites that advertise 24/7 help for problems don't even bother answering requests for help.

I like lesbian porn, as long as the models are attractive. Toys can be used, but I would like to see a "real" or "natural" approach where the actors have some regard or feeling for each other, instead of a lot of fake moaning and groaning that starts off with the toy or hand or mouth or whatever still a foot or more away from the woman's body. Are we supposed to believe these actors/models are so excited that they are ready to orgasm just by looking at each other, without any physical stimulation?

I was a member of the network about 4 months ago, and found a lot of very nice videos at some of the sites. There is a wide range of material, most of which I was not really interested in, but there are a good number of attractive models in a large number of videos that are nicely shot. One factor I appreciate is that the fake moaning and groaning in a lot of these videos is much less than the average porn clip. The network is certainly not perfect, but it's one of the better ones out there, as far as content and price.
