I agree with the previous replies that Brazzers is getting boring with its emphasis on large fake tits and hard as hell looking babes. I joined originally because it had a wide variety of babes, some natural, some cute, some outrageous, etc., but in the last few months they have become way too repetitive.
BTW, the cross selling is a bit aggravating, but can also be useful for finding new and different sites, occasionally at rates better than offered on PU.

Accuracy: My main (only?) beef with VideoBox is the inaccuracy of the search function caused by sloppiness and carelessness in identifying the models correctly or in misspelled names, When a sit has 6,000+ DVD's accuracy is critical to locating material by model name.
Accuracy and coverage: My main beef with Bank Brothers is that the search function (an overstatement is that they even have one) sucks big time. A large percentage of models are identified as "ehhh, I forgot." Many others are just first names. And the search result usually includes several totally unrelated hits. I'm canceling BB for that reason because there are so many other sites with great content and that provide much better search capabilities.
Coverage: FTV Girls is a high quality site but it has, essentially, no search function at all and is on my "next to go" list for that reason.
High scores to Twistys, SexyBabes.tv, Adult.com and to Naughty America for having superb search functions.
I suggested this poll because I was curious how others felt about this. If a search function is rated lousy in a review I usually move on without signing up, but if a good search function is operating on the preview site that I like and that has a good review, I'm likely to sign up.

Had to think hard and long (no, not my willy, my gray matter). I love the natural beauty and absence of body art with Euromodels and the variety and outrageousness of our Chatsworth California producers.
I concluded, with some angst, that I had to go with the Euros because of their babes and because they have the basics (lighting, camera angles, focus on body parts) down pat. Give 'em time and we may see better variety from them shortly.
But everytime I see a US model with tats covering half her body, I need to move on. The beauty of a gorgeous babe's body is enhanced by natural and unblemished skin, not by some silly tattoo artist's work.

Ditto. The site is sliding downhill and I've had it with the lousy search engine, the silly babble by the camera guy and the garbage footage that sometimes fills over 1/2 of a scene.
There are too many other great sites out there that this one is easy to quit. And I did.
I'll be writing a review shortly and haven't decided on a score yet, but it will definitely bring the average down a notch or two.

Super good news. TBP just posted a PU price of $14.95 a month. Even better news (for me) is that procrastination pays off. I budgeted $25 in my horndog allocation to sign up for NA on payday (3/25), but with the $14.95 deal, I signed up today just to make sure they didn't change their mind on that discount.
So far I've pissed away an hour and a half just checking things out. It's a helluva good site with great stuff.

BTW, I went to the TBP review where Spencer says there is a lot of exclusive stuff, so my request above is for confirmation.
So far this site looks like it's a horndog's dream come true. Brain Pass looks like a great companion to Video Box. Joining both should keep you busy enough to not need any other porn sites.

Based on this review I checked out the preview site. It looks like it's a huge buffet room with endless offerings that should keep a horndog quite busy for a long time. And at $90 per year ($7.50 per month) it definitely looks like a good deal.
The preview site suggests, however, that a lot of the content (if not all) is not exclusive. Can you confirm that?

I agree. I joined PU two years ago and have grown to appreciate very much when a webmaster participates in discussions and responds to issues in a positive and constructive way.
As far as I'm concerned a site whose webmaster participates in a Porn User discussion like this warrants serious consideration for my hard earned money.

That would be the opposite of me. I'm just under 83 even though I gave scores of 51 and 50 to some abysmally lousy sites. If I had the energy I would go back and audit the calculation but I'm too busy reading reviews and watching videos that feature copulation (and other associated activities such as fellatio and cunnilingus) between consenting adults.

I've got In the Crack on my long list (it's over my max of $30) of sites to check out once I win the lottery and don't care about price any longer and it's in there with the Dev8 sites (they are all $30) in the high interest group. But I'm still checking the sites that are under $25 which are, by and large, quite good.
Because I've only checked out the preview site (gotta love Andie Valentino's super hi-def sample-1920x1080 (1080p) full HD) I really don't know much about the In The Crack site except what I see there. Dev8 provides a lot more opportunity to sample their stuff and I agree with you about the feel being European. (I believe, based on the TBP review, but do not know, that Dev8 Entertainment, Ltd. is a British Virgin Islands company.)

All sites operated by Dev8, including this one, are summarized at indexxxed.com so if you want to search all scenes for a specific model on a specific site (or all sites) you can go to indexxxed.com. It's a free site, BTW, and a place to go to find trailers for every scene on every site operated by Dev8.

Great job and the review is spot on to this 3+ year subscriber.
And I agree with the need for an improved search function. There are so many videos where the pornstars are mis-identified (or their names are misspelled) and so many more where the names are simply not provided that the only good way to find a particular pornstar is to go to ifdb.com, get a title inventory and search for the title. But as atrapat says, they have a less than optimal metadata search capability so even that isn't the best answer.
The shame is with 6,000+ titles, they've got some really great stuff that will be lost to all but a very few very determined people who are willing to check out each title one-by-one.

So you feel the site is worth about $45.00 per month (at the current exchange rate of the Euro)? Why?
VideoBox provides 35 new DVD's per week (no variability, always one new one every 4 hours and 48 minutes without fail) and they just passed an inventory of 6,000 DVD's at a price ($9.95) that is only 22% of the price of XXX Movie Online. Please give us some idea why you feel XXX Movie Online is worth more than 4 times as much as Video Box.
How well does their search function work? The preview site does not have a pornstar search function; just a genre and studio search function. How can I determine what videos they have with, say, Gianna Michaels or Carmella Bing?
Why does it seem that the majority of videos concentrate on ladies that look like they are Pahrump, Nevada 1980's rejects (that is over 50 years of age)?
Who is their billing service?
What is the size and bit rate of their stuff?
I have a lot more questions, but hopefully you get my point that a score of 100 seems totally unwarranted for a site that even TBP hasn't reviewed.

Don't know. It depends on the item and the message.
I refuse to wear anything with blatant logos like LaCoste or Nike unless I get it free. Why should I advertise the brand of something that cost big bucks in the first place?
On the other hand, I have no problem with coffee mugs and similar stuff if it's tasteful. (My favorite mug these days is "I suffer from CRS (Can't Remember Shit.") That's tasteful, isn't it? :-)

I have gone through their preview site several times. Having been burned in the past by terrific preview sites where the actual site is not even close to the promises, when I read the comments and reviews for ALS written earlier I got the feeling that there was some hesitation by others. You, on the other hand, sounded enthusiastic so I put ALS on my long term list to consider again in spring 2009.
That's why I asked if the updating and improvements you reported were continuing.
Clearly they have a first class site and clearly the time is right to sign up.

The setting is always important in any video creation but is especially so in the production values required for porn, where the lighting and camera angles must never be affected by the nature of the setting.
That said, I get turned off when I see the same old couch with the same old sheet or blanket (that's probably crackling with dried up cum) used over and over...or that unfurnished house for sale in Chatsworth that they hired for the shoot that day.
A well thought out setting like a working fireplace or a poolside encounter can add a lot to the scene.
