Great question. I currently have at least one of each of the first four, but no "Date" sites.
So if the question were flipped, I would say the Date sites are my least favorite, and the other four are tied for my favorites.

RagingBuddhist already said a few things I was going to say so let me just say that I am with you on the filet mignon/pizza analogy. I was a member of MetArt for several months and left it because, although there was plenty of material, it was of modest quality and was totally repetitive.
I hope that as time passes the site starts loading enough material to justify it's $18 per month price.
I'm thinking of joining FigureBaby to see how good a site's quality can be and to give me a better basis for evaluating it in comparison with other sites.

One thing I've never seen is this warning notice on this site's sign-up page:
NOTICE: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS
This alone should earn this site a score of 25.
Now, if you are into nice soft puffies as I am, check out this site as an alternative:

While I agree a site needs to start somewhere and to grow in a controlled manner. But what seems to be the case here, by your description, is that they are still in the planning stage and are playing with what they want to be when they go "prime time."
Most embryonic sites start off as an adjunct of another, established site as a "bonus" offering in order to get some direct feedback by porn users...or at least a very low membership price like $5.99.
But at $17.99 with only two "naked videos" and very few photos, I think I can wait a while.

"Stupid?" Not really.
When I log on to a porn site, my objective is to get it off watching gorgeous babes engaged in activities that I enjoy.
I will try a game on rare occasions but when I see Gianna Michael's fabulous orbs next to a game, for some strange reason I check out the fabulous Ms. Michaels and quickly forget the game.
But I can see how others might enjoy playing a game or two, so to call them "stupid" isn't right.
My answer is No. Period. Therefore I did not vote because that option was not offered.

I agree completely. They first included the new channels in their search results but unless you committed to the fee for the site the results were just a tease. The notion was not thought through carefully by any stretch. I suspect it may have cost them some business.

- Has a member review section for each video and for each scene
- The vast majority of the scenes have a cast list that is interactive so a member can generate a list of all offerings with a particular porn star.
UPDATE (4/2/09) Pros:
All "pro" comments still apply.
-Excellent blog was added with substantial involvement of the site's management that really adds a lot to the members' enjoyment of the site.

- Added two major sources (Evil Angel and Vivid) accessible only at substantial additional cost.
- Comments have deteriorated into wise guy comments about the screencaps so they are of little real value.
- Significant deterioration in the accuracy of the model identification which creates a serious problem using the search engine.
- More "Bargain Bin" compilation videos that contain scenes that have already been posted earlier on the site. |

This site exceeds all possible comparisons to other sites and is a bargain. The occasional obscure weird vids (midgets, hirsute Japanese, trannie) pop up once in a while but so what? The member review section is new and the members haven't figured out what a "review" is because most postings are more like a chat room than an evaluative discussion of the scene or the video.
Great site, great deal. Go for it!
UPDATE (4/2/09) Bottom Line:
The site continues to have the largest number of videos of any site (over 6,000 at this writing) and add 5 per day which is 1,865 new videos per year.
That may be a contributing factor to the deterioration in model identification. The sloppiness in model identification has really made the site a lot less desirable for me because I see the searchability of a site to be very important.
The introduction of Vivid and Evil Angel productions were added with a lot of fanfare but they hit a serious sour note with many when they belatedly added the rather high supplemental charge to access the videos from these studios.
As mentioned in the "Pro" section, the blog is an excellent interactive forum. Management of the site gets into a lot of substantial discussion with the members which is very good.
I reduced my original score from 97 to 90 for two major reasons.
- The significant increase in the sloppiness in model identification is a major annoyance that hurts the site's value.
- The lack of thought given to the roll-out of the two premium studios. (Had they announced the move along with the cost associated at the outset, the reception would have been a lot better.) In my opinion, the roll-out also took their attention away from their number one mission, and that is their primary offerings.
Once again, photo enthusiasts need not apply. There are none. |

I'm on at least once every day and will jump in more frequently when I'm on hold on the phone (happens frequently) or when a site I've already joined changes, comes up with a new deal or a new babe pops up that can be found on a site I don't belong to.
Compared to other porn review sites this one is far and away the best because it has a lively and active membership that is genuinely interested in sharing all experiences on porn sites, good as well as bad. There's no other site that even comes close.
My view is that Porn Users is essentially the Consumers Reports for the pay porn site user community where one can get real, accurate and timely information, not to mention, occasional great deals.

The $29.95 problem arose after I checked out the tour extensively, and with interruptions, so it's very possible that I created a cookies conflict that caused the higher price to appear.
I just tried again and it looks like it was me and not the site because the price now shows consistently as $24.95.
So my apologies to any who were put off by my comment.

Update.
After my posts on PU and my email communications from the webmaster last week, I thought we were good to go.
In his last email to me on Friday, 3/27 in response to the premature shutdown of my trial membership, he said, "...what will make you happy? do you want another day of access? or do you need to know customer support will get back to you?"
Because I consider responsive customer service very important for any sites I join, I responded with an email that said, simply, that I needed to know that customer support will get back to me.
I told him that, if he would give me that assurance, I would be signing up immediately because I really like the site.
Today, four days later, i have received no reply at all.
This tells me, simply, that, with this site, "you pays your money, you takes your chances." Unless and until I get some assurance that I can count on a full month of access for a full month membership fee, whicch seems unlikely with PornstarXS, they won't see my money.

Frankly, since the beginning of true explicit porn, the idea is the fantasy aspect. The original cum shots were usually a quick pull out when the guy was about to ejaculate to demonstrate that the sex was real and it helped make the scene more of a fantasy fulfillment for the viewer.
These days where the guy is standing over the babe jerking himself off furiously so that the babe can get a load squirted on her face/boobs/whatever, just doesn't do anything for me except to tell me that the guy really wasn't getting off on the babe.

That's why I deal only with sites that use CCBill and Epoch because the site owners are not given any credit card details.
If you don't want to renew a membership all you need to do is go online with ccbill.com or epoch.com and tell them to cancel. Your losses are thus limited to what was already processed.
If a site uses another billing/payment service or does it themselves, you proceed at your own risk.

Update.
As I summarized in my PU comment, after I posted my issue on PU, I received a response from the Webmaster who offered to set me up with a temporary logon so I would get the full deal.
The temporary logon was more temporary than promised; it shut down before the promised expiry.
Although the webmaster says that we should contact him if we have any problems, neither he nor the site's customer service staff have responded at all.
The site is excellent with a lot of content not available elsewhere. But if one cannot access the site with a paid subscription, what's the point?
Shame. I like the site a lot and would be signing up for a full membership for sure if I had any confidence at all that they would provide basic support on a timely basis when things go wrong. But I don't have any confidence at all.

OK, so the last chapter has been written.
Yes I was issued a temporary logon id and password as the webmaster promised, and it worked fine...for a while. Then the same thing. Access denied.
And emails to them continue to go unanswered.
It's a shame because, as I've said, I really like the site, but not enough to go through the hassle of trying to get some response, any response, from them when I get prematurely shut down.
Hopefully they'll get their customer service act together. If they do they'll definitely be in the competitive mix with their counterparts on the web.

OK, still up and accessible 24 hours later so the access shut down must have been an isolated glitch.
So far I've run into a few dead links and the older videos are broken into segments instead of a single run, but so far I'm really liking this site based on 2 days into the trial.
It's a video site, no photos, so you photo guys will need to go elsewhere. Many of the videos are available on VideoBox, XMovies and other main stream video sites. But there's also a whole bunch of content that I have not seen on any other site, which is what really has me interested.
I'll be signing up for a full month membership and will write a real review after I've given the site a full stress test.

About an hour after I did what the Webmaster suggested I got an email back with an acknowledgment that my paid trial was in fact not working. He provided me with a temporary username/password that got me back up and running so now I'll be getting the full 48 hour trial.
Interestingly I got action from the site by posting my problem on Porn Users (this comment and a reply to the latest review). I got no action at all from my emails to the site's webmaster or customer service.
Bottom line based on my experience, so far, is if you sign up for PornstarXS, be sure to post any problems on Porn Users if you want to get the problems resolved. Don't wait for any response from Customer Service.
Now that I'm back on the site as a member, I'm still positive about the content of the site and may take a shot at signing up for a full month or more.

In his response above, the Webmaster said, "anyone reading this disgruntled review - it's simple, sign up for a trial and try it for yourself."
OK. I did. I signed up for the trial so I could try it for myself. I was very favorably impressed with the site, with the content and especially with the navigation, and I felt that I found a site I could stay with for a long time.
That's the good news.
The bad news is that about 24 hours or so into the 2 day trial I could no longer access the site. Instead I received a message that my membership had expired. I sent emails to cs@pornstarXS.com, to webmaster@pornstarXS.com and to Epoch billing support to see what was up.
I got an immediate reply from Epoch advising me that my account was still active and in good order. They suggested I contact the site's customer support for help.
After giving the site more time to reply, I sent a follow-up. Still no answer so I canceled my membership in order to prevent Epoch renewing my membership at the full monthly rate.
As of this writing I have received absolutely no communication at all from anyone at PornstarXS.com.
Frankly I really liked the site so I'm very disappointed that the site has chosen to not be responsive to its customers.
Bottom line, if you are interested in this site, definitely choose the 2 day trial first. That way you're out only $4 if they deny you access instead of $25 for a full month. (The $4 is worth it because the site has a lot of content that I couldn't find on other sites such as VideoBox and, when I had access, the download speeds were very satisfactory and every download I tried were completed without any difficulty.)
