Simple.
If the reviews of a $9.99 site are lousy, I use the money to supersize my Big Mac meal instead.
If the reviews of a $34.95 are great, (DDF for example), I will spring for it.
Don't get me wrong. price will always be a factor; the higher the price, the more I will study the reviews and the preview site before making the plunge. But the reviews are always the deciding factor.
And frankly, since joining PU, the only clunker sites I've joined were those where the site had not been reviewed at all on PU or TBP. Lesson learned. If a site has not been reviewed by PU or TBP, it's probably too new or too lousy to warrant the effort.

Just an observation. I've been a member of Brazzers for at least a year and have not experienced any customer service issues. But if I remember correctly, they have a pre-ticked cross-sell box for additional site sign-ups that any porn user MUST watch for and uncheck when signing up.
These site count on the male libido getting a prospect to do whatever it takes to get into that Members Area and get their rocks off so the prospect will skip past the boxes and terms of service details to their peril.
And Brazzers also has cross-selling adds that look a lot like just content boxes so it's possible you thought you were clicking on a babe's latest update but were really clicking on a link to another site.

I said softcore, but the problem is the choices are not mutually exclusive.
I like FTV a lot, for example. Is that softcore or teen? I also like DDF a lot which has a lot of solo girl stuff but also does some b/g as well.
I am losing interest in Brazzers, mainly because the majority of models are excessively siliconed these days, but where a natural babe is doing it I like it as well.
So just because my preference is a gorgeous natural babe showing off her assets whether or not there's a penis, a toy, another babe, bondage, whatever, in the scene, I would have voted "all the above" if that was a choice. It wasn't a choice so I went with softcore.

I'm still pissed about the misleading (fraudulent?) Danni's Pledge and how they totally misrepresented their DRM policy when they had it.
They promised that anything downloaded would continue to be accessible even after a member resigned so long as it was not moved to another drive.
I loaded up some external hard drives based on that promise, only to find out they lied. Even after signing up again my entire stash remained inaccessible.
That experience left a very bad taste in my mouth and should be a warning to others who believe the site actually cares about its customers.

Ditto that. I signed up for a full year that gave me an additional 6 free months. Not that sorry I did because the price per posted DVD is $.0367 (less than 4 US cents per video) which is pretty damned cheap. If I catch one video in 100 that is worth downloading my cost is $3.67, which is about the cost of a video rental these days.
But I am finding an average of 2 or 3 DVD's a week that have some good stuff so I've got no price complaints.
The only complaint is that I've got to weed through the crap to find the few good ones.

I agree with the comments about the navigation and site design, but one thing I'd like to see added is a posting history with dates PLUS a preview of upcoming material. A calendar would work fine.
By the way, I really enjoyed your review and suggest you not try to condense your writing. Rather do as others have done...continue your review in a reply.

I aqree with the "con" about no full scene download option, but I have another that, being a long term subscriber, would really make the site better, IMHO.
Watching a gorgeous/pretty/sexy babe pleasuring herself with fingers, dildos and/or toys is always a good thing, there is something called "too much of a good thing." Some episodes have 8 to 10 minutes of the girl in the same basic position doing the same basic thing gets rather tedious and boring.
But there are other episodes where, because the babe really turns me on, the 8 to tem minutes seems too short.
I would like an additional option of being able to download an edited down 10 minute (or longer) "highlights" video so I can save space and stay interested.
BTW, There are other porn babes with stuff in their early years as well. Gianna Michaels, Phoenix Ray, Jana Jordan (aka Jana Foxy) and Andie Valentino, for example, show off their assets beautifully.

Denner, Almost all of their stuff since last year is in HD quality with some remastering of older material that improves the quality (not HD but far better than before). I say "almost" because there are a few (very few) clips thrown in on some sets that are not HD but they are short set up or close down scenes with no erotic material.

Great site but it sure ain't perfect.
Some cons:
They have some total crap videos
Indexing is very sloppy
Misidentified models - way too many
Boolean logic is not used in the search function
Aspect ratio problems with streaming videos
Some "DVD quality" videos, esp. older ones, aren't
But the biggest pro:
I agree with all of your pros and would add the one incredible feature: at $14.95 a month and with 150 videos added per month, you pay only 10 cents per video. Now that's one helluva deal for first rate (for the most part) videos.
I gave it a 90 (see my review for the reasons), but no way could I ever give it 100 points.

Better yet, they've extended the 3 month option $74.95 ($25 per month) on a RE-BILLING basis as per the PU listing.
In my opinion, this guy Denys Defrancesco produces the best porn on the web.
That means he shoots nothing but incredibly gorgeous babes, uses HD, superlative camera work and perfect lighting.
And at $25 per month and with 20 updates per week, I have only one major gripe about the site. I am spending more on 1Tb hard drives to keep up with his output.

That explains, at least in part, the pricing of the IOmega special deals; they're dumping the old guys.
Saw a 2 Tb (no-name) on sale today for $188.00. I remember in 2006 a good price was determined by it being under $1.00 per Gb. Now it's under $0.10 per Gb.
The solid state drives that haven't really been a big deal yet, will likely replace the current drives and, when an SSD price comes down more, it will probably bring the price of the current hardware down a whole lot more before they become dinosaurs.

They all were FAT32 out of the box. Seagate and WD had software onboard that I copied off then reformatted to NTSF. No problem at all.
IOmega, however, had software that was copyright protected so I could not copy it. The software was not important to me because it was a basic automatic backup utility so I decided to just reformat the drive and lose the software.
But the copy protection apparently blocked the reformat
