I was a member for a couple months about 3 years ago. My enthusiasm for the model diminished gradually but I left with the impression this was a great site. I'd been meaning to join back for some time so, when Sandee Westgate put a very convincing sales pitch for her site at a reality porn network forum, I took the plunge.
In my humble opinion, this site is one of the best solo sites. Since it goes back to my early days of perusing the adult net, I could even say it's one of the few sites that's shaped what I currently expect from a solo model site in terms of update rate and interaction. I'm no longer nuts about the model's looks (her new huge side tattoo is... huge) but she's no doubt a hottie and cares to offer a more than decent product and lots of interaction.
I really like the attention to details in the latest picture sets both in styling and posing but I feel they should do something about the editing style of videos. They make it up in the "Sandee's Girls" series: big names, short candid intro interviews and no music throughout the scene. Unfortunately, there's no set schedule for this series and updates aren't dated.
At some point during this last years, they got rid of DRM. They've also moved to a PPV section some boy-girl scenes Sandee Westgate did with her (former?) boyfriend. Most of the old content shows its age but there are some great classic photo sets although not all are available in zip format.
This site really would benefit from a search engine. Having over 350 photo galleries and not being able to filter out/in those where she is posing outdoors, in a brown bikini, using a dildo or posing outdoors in a brown bikini using a dildo will make you miss the sets you would enjoy the most. There are already some small descriptions in some of the update lists so they have some of the work already done. |

Let me friendly disagree with the videos being non-exclusive. I was a member less than a month ago and, among the 150+ ones I managed to download (almost all the ones with Sandee in it), I'd say 85-90% of them are exclusive to this site. There are some with watermarks from Digital Desire, Marquis Models, Suze Randall or 24 Main Street but the vast majority look exclusive.
Regarding the spy cam, maybe it's a matter of timing. Living in Europe, I couldn't attend the regular chats because of the time differences but I was able to see Sandee Westgate sitting at her computer on the spy cam very often at what I believe were 10-12 AM PST. I once caught her flashing her tits and interacting with the spy cam although, according to what someone at the chat who seemed to be a regular member said afterwards, it's a pretty rare behavior.

Site just launched. Haven't had time to watch much of it. Some quick facts after looking at the previews.
15 photo sets: one hardcore bgg, 6 softcore gg ranging from mere tit rubbing to almost pussy licking, 8 solo galleries ranging from just posing to mild toy insertion.
28 videos: I'd say 40% are solo, 40% are bg (or bgg or bbg) and the remaining gg and a couple BTS. My guess is almost all the hardcore video content but one (the one tied to the bgg photo set) is recycled from DVDs. Photo content seems much more recent and likely exclusive.
Part of Premium Pass. No scheduled future updates. No entries in the free official blog; but a couple entries in the members only video blog. No webcam show scheduled.
Sara Stone is gorgeous. Hope she puts her site in shape soon as some of the other stars at Premium Pass have done.

Sincerely, I wouldn't enter my credit card info if I had to do the http-https trick. It was just to offer a certain degree of security in case you really wanted to join the site.
AFAIK, communications become secure once you use the https; the warning is because the URL you are accessing (scorehd.com) doesn't match the one in the certificate (score-cash.com). But communication is encrypted and an eavesdropper would only be able to intercept the communication if he were the owner of the score-cash.com certificate.
In this case, the trick works because the server happens to have an SSL certificate installed (even though domains don't match and you get a warning) but, obviously, not all servers will have one.

When I joined Christy Marks (also by Score) some time ago I also went through a similar page. I don't remember if the credit card page was sent through HTTPS but it was also a page hosted at score servers. I was eventually billed by an unheard of billing company but haven't had any issues afterwards.
You may try altering the http part to https. The server has a certificate but it is for score-cash.com domain (the page you receive is at scorehd.com); you will have to set up a certificate exception but you'll be able to join through a secure page.
Needless to say, an HTTPS certificate costs money (not much, just about a 100$ yearly) but for a company that conducts its business online is a must.

I remember a similar discussion on Curry Creampie. In fact, several of the scenes, like the Sativa Rose and Keri Sable one, come from a DVD titled "Mexicum" which can be found at DVD sites.
What's even weirder than the performer name change is that you can see Porn.com watermarks on some of the tease thumbnails but this site doesn't seem to be owned by Porn.com.

The free tour page you've seen lists everything that is available inside. To their credit, it's also worth mentioning they clearly separate the three types of videos: behind the scenes, candids and sexy videos. This is something not all sites do.
I grabbed a couple of the behind the scenes videos and they are a bit peculiar: there's a lot of editing showing shoot preparation and the model while posing for the camera but also some stills from the shoot. A bit unusual but quite well done. Keep in mind that I do like behind the scenes material.
Even though, as I said, I feel photos are the strongest point of the site.

It's still updating 3 photo sets per week on average although it looks like one of them is usually just magazine scans. Latest sets are being released at 2000x1333.
The galleries section of the free tour shows everything you'll find inside.

I didn't get a membership directly for Shay Laren but to another site from this company, which is no longer listed here at PU. That site only listed 5-6 bonus sites at its home page but my password worked at all but one of the 15+ sites that company had listed here at PU at that time: all the solo model sites did work; also Glamour Models Gone Bad and Amateurs Gone Bad. If I don't recall badly, only one of the sites did not work and it was not a solo model site; Digi Dolls or Bitchin Movies most likely.
I don't know if it's sloppiness on their side or an unadvertised feature but I doubt they have a membership maze set up. They for sure didn't have it a couple years ago and they were already listing just a few bonus sites at the members' home pages.

Thanks for the info. I was rather disappointed with so many screen captures in that network but it's good to know that it was temporary.
I agree the site is a must for Shay Laren fans. I only grabbed the zip files but there are some very good pictures in them. I wish she didn't have that tattoo in her back, though.

I was member to another site in the network about a month ago and several of the most recent photo updates at that site were merely individual frames from HD videos (blurry, horizontal, 1280x720). I found that very sleazy. Is it happening at Shay Laren on the most recent sets too?
I could access Shay Laren and downloaded most of the zip files and I've only found one (Peach Lingerie) where they did this but I was wondering if they have also done it in the last couple of sets.

I was disappointed with Tory Lane XXX (allegedly, an official site) so I checked this one in case she had another "really official" site. The tour didn't make me think this was any better but promised access to several network sites so joined anyway. Turns out this was as much a disappointment as the other one. Thank god for trial memberships.
The Tory Lane content quantity is quite depressing. Picture galleries seen a hundred times and no exclusive videos. Videos are good and quality is more than acceptable. Pity there are only 4 scenes while IAFD lists Tory Lane in at least 8 DVDs from New Sensations and 2 from Powerhouse all prior to 2007. Wonder why they can't make them available here 3 years after they were released.
The site is well done and nice to use but the lack of content sends it to the bottom of my rating list.
The overall impression gets somewhat better when you check the other network sites you also get access to (currently 17). They aren't much more better than this, though (no Jizz Bomb or NS All Access). They are all centered around single models, mostly US but also some European. Raylene Richards was quite a find (the model, not the site). The other sites usually have much more content than Simply Tory Lane. |

I was sincerely upset with the theme of the site and that's why I ranked it so low. I also happen to like the "belly-down-flat" position but it doesn't appeal to me at all if the models allegedly stay unconscious throughout the scene. I strongly feel they should add some intro or epilogue to justify it. Otherwise, it's just too creepy.

Scenes always follow this structure: guy sneaks camera in hand into a room where a young girl is sleeping in bra and panties; he slowly undresses her, trying not to wake her up, all the time groping and fingering her; he leaves the camera where it can catch all the action, takes out his cock, pokes her a little bit and starts having sex quietly with her till the money shot as the girl remains asleep. It's just as creepy as it sounds. In only 3 (Rachel Starr, Shawna Lenne and Veronique Vega) of the 12 scenes that were available while I was a member, the girl pretends to wake up and catch the guy (the scene continues with the girl's cooperation; she remains somewhat sleepy but is always happy to find herself in such a situation); in the rest of the scenes, the model pretends to be asleep the whole time.
Those who don't "wake up" are usually quite new to the industry but, of course, there's little doubt that they agreed to be filmed that way, signed their model releases, etc. Among them, there are a couple of rising stars like Missy Stone or Brynn Tyler. I believe some BDSM sites shoot a short segment at the end of the scenes where performers, now dressed in civilian clothes, talk about what they just did so viewers are assured that what happened was consensual. I'm not saying they should do this here but maybe the girls should always pretend to wake up as they already do in those 3 scenes. Another option would be to add a behind the scenes clip. I am sure the performers couldn't help but crack up at some point while filming. It would also be funny if they could release a scene where the one sleeping was the guy.
If the fact that the girl stays asleep until the end of the scene is extremely important to the fetish, maybe they could shoot a short acting intro where the girl tells the guy she's OK with that. In fact, the main page for each episode always has a short story where they justify the situation; things like "she was familiar with my particular fantasy" or "deeply asleep, willing to let me do my thing". It's quite obvious they've added that as an afterthought as the scenes always have the same structure but the stories vary quite a lot in the details.
Creepy details aside, there are some pretty young all-natural newbies here. There's little more to be said, if you are into this kind of thing you'll probably like it. I felt, though, that model's response and the guy's performance (always the same guy) is pretty much interchangeable from scene to scene. They all make a pretty good job. So, if your fetish isn't exactly the same as the one depicted in a particular scene it's unlikely that you'll find another one that better suits your taste. |
