Thanks for the feedback; that's one of the reasons I like this site. I'm not going to comment on the PaulMarkhamteens comparison as I'm currently in the doghouse with Paul Markham over a review I recently gave his site.
Overall, and I've seen this on other sites as well, I'd have to say that if you're going to focus on shooting younger models you need to work on bringing them out of their shell because they just don't have the experience to put on an entertaining show. I think that webmasters would find that if they have girls that are into "it" then their websites would also generate more $$ too.

As the for the good, this is a very good "art" site with no hardcore, toys and very little lesbianism. the photography is first rate with photo download options ranging from 1200 to 6000 pixels (who but the truly obsessed is going to download and view a 6k picture). Right now there are about 160 different models with the majority having multiple sets. There is a little info about each model which is nice.
As for the so-so part of this review (which is why I scored at as I did), a lot of the models are east european and Peter seems to lake the ability to bring them out of their shell. Many models have an ambivalent look about their posing that may be euro kosher but lacks fizz by US standards. Some of the girls are sizzling hot while many are simply good looking teens. The sets also tend to get a bit repetitive at times.
I wish there were more models to choose from and that Peter would get a little more creative.
All in all, it's a pretty good site. However, for the money, I would probably consider joining Met-Art (never been a member) over Hegre-Art again. |

I agree with Wishdj and PinkPanther. I was a member about a year ago and remember thinking that this site could have been so much better. A lot of the material is getting pretty dated and there was a lot of airbrushing. I would not recommend joining unless you are a fan of Earl or a fan of porn stars from about 5 to 10 years ago.

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade here. I can't argue with the $2.95 price and the amount of movies - even website owners have to make their money. Just calling it like I see it.

Just to be curious, what kind of program and/or hardware does one use to download a site? I don't know if I would be interested in doing so on a site the size of Karups but it might be useful on smaller ones.

If you love huge quantities of quality photos of hot girls then this is the place for you. If you're not familiar with Suze think of Penthouse and Hustler as the standard I'm talking about.
I was at Suze.net a few months ago and just came back and what a difference. You now get 10 years of photos which means 500+ boy/girl sets, 300+ girl/girl sets, 1600+ centerfolds and hundreds of additional sets. The sets allow zip and download options of 800, 1024 and 1400 pixels. The sets prior to '03 generally lack the 1400 option. The sets generally had 50 - 100 pics each with older ones usually having less than 50.
A lot of this stuff I hadn't seen since the days when a 56k connection was high speed, Jill Kelly ruled and white guys with names like "Dale DaBoner" swung their stuff. Depsite the fact that many of the sets were older they didn't seem too dated given the glamor/fetish emphasis of the site.
My only dislikes were that the older sets had a lot of psuedo (aka nonpenetration porn) and that Suze keeps shifting her trial offers. I'm a cheap bastard and I eventually found a tgp link that got me into the $4.77 full trial as advertised by TBP. Otherwise, it's hit or miss on the posted trial amounts if you go to the site. Also, a few sets I had seen before lacked all the images available.
With a full trial of less than $10 you simply can't go wrong. Basically, this site rocks. |

Like I previously mentioned, the wind has now changed and the trial membership is gone (join today for $25 a month). I wish there was some way of TBP being able to post when the trials disappear. Although Suze.net is a worthy site, I have seen other sites in the last few months get a full trial listing on TBP and within a few days find out the trial is very limited or no longer existent. Bait and switch ain't a fun game to play and if you're in this biz to make money I don't see how websites can justify doing this in the long haul.

I see that TheBestPorn lists the trial at $4.77 but it now appears to be $9.99. I joined a while back at the $4.77 price and it seems that the trial offers vary almost daily. I seen links at some TGP sites that have links to the $4.77 trial (only good for suze.net, not suzevideo.net), $9.99 (good for both sites and unrestriced), $19.99 and the regular $29.99 all within the last 10 days. If you don't like the trial currently offered I suggest you wait for the wind to change and check again.

I've looked at this site for a while and finally did the $2.95 trial. If you have been downloading porn for any length of time you'll quickly notice that this stuff has been around for years. None of the content, from what I could tell, is exclusive. For me it was a trip down memory lane and an opportunity to download a few things that were wiped out years ago. There are 100 boy/girl sets with about 1/3 of those being videos; about 150 lesbian sets and hundreds of solo model sets.
For newbies who don't mind 90's looking and dressed euro models, I reccommend the site. For those who have been around a while I would join only if you haven't seen this stuff before. Generally, I only found a few vids and picture sets that I haven't seen before but I'm sure would be on another site like Karupspc or similar site.
I did like the multiple picture sizes (large typically goes slightly bigger than full screen), zip features, and model directory. I did come across some models when using the search function that weren't in the directory.
I have noticed when looking at the site previously that there is content rotation. Also, the format is pretty much the same for the models and it can get repetitive.
If there was exclusive content or more boy/girls sets I would score this site in the mid 80's. As it is now, it's worth the trial.
I will note that when you cancel you have an option to continue for $19.95 per month. |

I'm a bit old school and I happen to like picture sets over movies so I'm going to focus on the pictures here: also, I think enough has been said about the movie downloads.
Almost all sets have way too many pictures (1000 to 2000) with way too many repeat pics. The sets prior to 2007 are not worth looking at. While they advertise high quality photos they are basically slightly less than full screen and some sets have pics no bigger than screen caps. There are some random large format pictures inserted into some sets. The photo quality varies a lot from good to lousy (these guys need to buy a decent digital camera and learn how to focus the thing).
Having said this I give the site an 80 simply because of the volume of content and the fact that you can get a membership for around $20 at this time. If you are into high quality pictures and content then this probably isn't the site for you. Otherwise it is worth checking out but unless you are really into the "big breast, big butt" genre then it's probably not worth sticking around for more than a month or so. |
