I had said I was going to include navigation tips in my review of this site, but ran out of characters. This really goes for all Kink Network sites.
There's one major thing missing - An alphabetical list of models.
Also, since it's a network, you're dropped into a hub that has content from every site in the network. It might be obvious to some, but I didn't realize you could click on the logos of each site and it would only show you content from that site. That improved the navigation a lot for me.
The search engine is maybe too specific in some ways and not near specific enough in other ways. Since there are gay and male sites on this network, you can filter to just see women or men or transsexual.
The problem is even after filtering down to female, you're left with more filters you can add, but that aren't that helpful. Like ethnicity. Hair color. Pubic hair. Body type. Where's "by number of scenes" or "alphabetically" or "most popular"? Some of the most featured models have changed quite a bit. I know Dragon Lily has had at least one child somewhere in-between her oldest scenes and newest scenes, same with Isis Love. And Isis Love's ethnicity isn't obvious. Think I found her in "mixed". Just a simple list of letters to click on "I" would be great.
There is a search box. It's tucked away in the right-hand upper corner of the screen and is a symbol of a magnifying glass. It's not accurate at all. I searched for Daisy and out of the first 10 scenes that came up, only four had Daisy in them.
The other tip, if you want out of the hub, which still requires scrolling until you find a scene from a site you want to check out, like other sites they've decided to name their different "sites" as "channels". And you can get to a channel list from the "browse" tab. Maybe not anything groundbreaking here in my tips, but hopefully that helps somebody.

Pros:
- Still a unique site that has seen its better days.
- Women wrestling. Stripping each other's clothes off. Force-groping each other. Fingering each other for "points".
- If you're a Dragon Lily or Isis Love fan, then that's a major pro for this site as there's lots of content of them.
- Kink quality and overall experience, lots of scrolling, slightly hidden tricks (see comment didn't fit in BL), access to the Kink network and its near 50 sites.
- This should have been my top pro. The live content. It blows away the studio content. See cons.
- Zipped pictures are back, 1200 long end, but at least they're back.
- More content than you'd believe. As of 12/24/2017: 975 scenes.
- Good download speeds, about 75% of my max.
- Navigation is a con if you're new. If you've been here awhile it's not bad at all.
- Site updates once a week, network updates 3 times a day.
Cons:
- That live content hasn't been added in a long time. To the best I can tell, the last live "match" was in August 2016. If I shared my 10 favorite scenes from this site all 10 would be live matches. I'll go more into those in the BL.
- As is the norm with Kink, the highest quality videos are 720p, which I prefer anyway, but could be a turn-off for others. Should mention that most of their scenes are in the hour or longer range, so anything over 720p is going to be a huge file.
- They're having a hard time replacing old favorites on Ultimate Surrender.
Bottom Line:
I first heard of or saw Ultimate Surrender content on an old TGP site back over a decade ago. It looked interesting. I have a fairly-long background in martial arts, even dating back to before anyone had heard of UFC. The premise of the site, in the old days, was unplanned, unscripted, "wrestling" matches. Think more like MMA or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or in even more specific terms -- grappling.
I didn't have the best experience talking to one of their producers back in the mid-2000s. I found it insulting to claim unscripted. It's obvious, we're going to compare this to pro wrestling, which doesn't even try to claim unscripted. I felt it showed dishonesty and in turn, I don't do business with dishonest companies.
To understand my frustration with it, I know one of the models, went to high school with her in Los Angeles. She's one of the sweetest, most-artsy, least-athletic women I've ever known. And for most of her match, she dominated her opponent. There is a point with a site like this that fantasy has to go away or else it's not that interesting for 2/3 of each scene.
Kink started growing and while they still threw out the word "unscripted", they obviously followed the lead of professional wrestling and developed "heels" and "babyfaces". Dragon Lily played a major role as a heel. A fairly well-trained grappler with a great traditional female build and she would wipe out her opponents. Then they'd find someone who would come in and beat Dragon Lily. They even expanded the Dragon Lily streak of dominance by having her dominate men. I personally would be up for that role.
Which is important to my review. I like dominant women. I don't care if it's scripted either. They later brought in Isis Love, who was as good maybe better than Dragon Lily at the top "bad girl" role.
They then decided to try something new. The matches were becoming stale. All were held in the same room of the Kink Dungeon or whatever it's called. Two women usually grunting (not sexually), skin slapping in a completely quiet room.
They brought in a live crowd. Completely changed the way these scenes are viewed. And these weren't crowds of other porn stars. There's older women, older men, middle-aged people, look like random people off the street and they all watch and respond as these women grapple and try to grope each other. They could have produced one live scene a month and I would have loved it. Even with no other updates! Just 1 live one a month, but they only did the live scenes for a short period of time.
The numbers of this site aren't much to talk about. They're impressive: Nearly 1,000 scenes and all roughly lasting 45 minutes or so. The 720p videos, for whatever reason, Kink does a great job at filming, look crisp. But that's really all there is to talk about the site except the concepts and gimmicks (live).
To show the continuity they formed with certain models: Dragon Lily's first Ultimate Surrender match was posted on August 10, 2004. She stayed active in the matches through April 1, 2014 and made a one-time comeback in 2015.
To a lesser extent:
Isis Love's first match was posted on February 8, 2005 and her last match was posted on September 3, 2013.
My favorite scene was Isis' return. She had been away for awhile. It's a live scene. She's in the crowd as a spectator and I didn't even realize it was her at first. She starts squeezing her thighs together as she's watching the women wrestling. She ends up being involved as one of the wrestlers is made to flirt/tease her. This drops the sexual action right into the middle of the crowd. It was like Kink's Public Disgrace site except it was to most viewers, a non-porn star spreading her legs in front of strangers. One of my all-time favorite scenes from any site.
Which explains the 83. No live scenes in over a year and those live scenes, while "live" weren't like the live scenes from I think 2011-2014, the newer live scenes are back in the same dull room just with a row of people sitting off the side of the wrestling mat. The older live scenes were much higher energy and the crowds reactions were big pluses.
And the 83 is because the newer models just aren't as believable. It's like watching a lesbian scene that has 30 minutes of fluff at the beginning. I hate using wrestling terms, but there's no "heat", meaning, the competition, even scripted, is no longer there. Daisy Ducati does a good job in her matches, but she seems to be about getting off as much as getting the other woman off. Which is a selling point of a site like this. Isis, Dragon Lily, they would finger, strap-on the woman they beat and stop when she started to orgasm.
It's still worth the price since you can still download all those older scenes, including all the live ones, but currently, it updates once a week and the updates are interchangeable. Having been about as negative as I'll be in a review, I still will say the Kink Network is the best deal in porn.
I used the same strategy you did on VB and added the Kink channel in the last week of a membership back about 5 months ago. That opened my mind back up on Ultimate Surrender since I hadn't seen any of their live sites until joining the Kink channel on VB. Even after a few months have passed now, I still find the scenes with the models I like, very good. But there are really only two models that I really liked, Dragon Lily and Isis Love. I'm not even for sure I like either of them for their skill in grappling, but instead, Dragon for being a very curvy Asian model which is rare in my experience and Isis for being so pretty, yet so dominant.
The navigation problems became more evident on Divine Bitches since there was no way to tell which scenes were just straight domination or ones that involved bisexual men. And with Ultimate Surrender, a simple "Live" tag system would make a huge difference. I just gave up on the photo sets which ended up disappointing me even more since I would have liked to get the Dragon Lily and Isis pictures. On the other hand, I still feel like Kink has improved a great deal over their earlier days when they had download limits that made most download limits today look huge. Hard to believe they used to limit members to 10 GB per month. And I'm thinking that's why they originally split the photo sets like they do. Since the limit was so low, I guess people complained they didn't want the full sets since it would be a bigger file.

Pros:
- Women wrestling, clothed, partially clothed and nude. One of Kink's oldest sites.
- Has more content than I'll ever get to.
- Tag team live matches in front of a crowd are some of my favorite scenes in all of pornland.
- Working Isis Love in as ref and extra strap-on is a great idea. I could just watch her walk around.
- Scripted and non-scripted are very subjective words, but I will give them credit for being the most physical of the wrestling sites.
- Nice photo sets, but see the cons and BL for more on this.
- Download speeds are usually extremely good, but there was one day of 1/20th regular download speed and just today the site had a few maintenance issues.
- Dragon Lily. It's not just a site with her on it, but she's a real star here. One of the sexiest, curvy, Asian/Pacific Islander models I've ever seen.
- Get a discount to most of their other sites while a member, believe it's $19.95 on each one you add.
Cons:
- Site design. This doesn't just apply to Ultimate Surrender, but most of the Kink sites I've been on. Have a membership to two right now and both suffer from the same problems.
- Trying to find a balance. I've competed in martial arts, Greco Roman wrestling and mixed martial arts. Dragon Lily really stands out here because she seems to be very skilled in grappling and flexibility. The combination of athleticism and sexy is perfect with her. A lot of the matches end up being more like foreplay for a lesbian porn scene.
- And those mutli-zip photo sets. There is a reason and defined reason for this, round 1, round 2, round 3, round 4, but each one is only 10-20 MB and requires multiple clicks to download each. I have a round downloaded before I can get back and start another round's zips downloading.
Bottom Line:
I like Kink sites as a diversion for me. I've almost always liked only glam sites, solo sites, but Kink has me convinced they are "good guys" when it comes to hard, dominating sex and they are perfect for me when I start getting bored with the softer porn.
I do stay frustrated with the site design and the way the photo zips work. Kink does listen so I'm hoping they at least will consider this. To download one match's photos you have to go through this process, click on photos, click on which round, there are 4 rounds in each match, click on download zip, back click, click on round 2, click download, back click, click on round 3, click on download, back click, click on round 4, click download, back click. That's 12 clicks to get one full match's photos. If I'm wrong for complaining about that have Dragon Lily and Isis Love punish me!
This click-a-thon does make the photo sets less appealing to me. Maybe put a full set download link? Or how about even a little zip icon beside each round? Full set would allow one click downloading. Zip icon beside each would be 4 clicks. I could put up with 4, but 12 is just frustrating. Though not applying directly to this site, I've also seen other Kink sites using this multiple click per photo set download.
The site itself is believable to a point. Some of the girls look like they are giving their all to win a match, others look like they just want to lose and have sex. Dragon Lily, Isis Love are both very competitive in it and both are also funny. Sorry Lily, but you telling a woman, "You cannot cum yet" is funny to me and strangely, kind of cute.
The live matches are the standouts. These do seem to be a little less realistic from a competitive view, because they allow double teams, which are always fun. I won't criticize the site for being scripted though. Girls do get injured. Some matches stopped because of injury even.
Where the site succeeds the most. Quality, quantity and hard lesbian sex. I have always had problems watching the harder boy/girl scenes with slapping, but it's pretty hot when it's two sweating, naked women. I do now understand the scoring better than I did on my last review of this site and can see how they are trying to create a real athletic competition with erotic additions.
Video quality can be varied and confusing, which goes back to site design. These are the options on newer ones, Most Compatible (wmv), Highest Quality HD (mp4), Smaller Screens iPod, iPad (mp4), Windows Media HD (wmv). Some of the times, I have downloaded the most compatible option and gotten mid level wmv files in the 720x480 range. So I finally just selected Highest Quality mp4 and it will remember that from scene to scene, but because the site has so much content on it, some of the scenes highest quality mp4 is 640x360. That can be frustrating since on those, the wmv is usually 720x480. It would probably be way too much of a pain to list the resolution beside of each, but it should be mentioned since you have to check each file to see if you got the best quality one available for that scene.
Search could be improved. If you go to "All Seasons" there are 8 listed previous seasons, but they have started season 10. Most of all though, I would love to see an option to just select the live scenes, but it's not here unless I'm overlooking something. I instead go through the updates looking for ones I can see a crowd in. Sounds easy enough, but each page only lists 7 shoots and the live ones are released by round, so you have to dig even more to find the full live scenes and if you want the pictures to those, it's back to looking for each round. Why the full scene video download doesn't have a full scene photo zip download doesn't make much sense.
The Kink sites I have been on all have these different problems with photo sets being split up to maybe tell a story or make sure if you're not OCDC, you will be. The design and frustration has lowered my score from a 90 a few years ago, but if you're not interested in the photos, the score would be in the lower 90s.
Using my most basic method of figuring up how much content, I'm going to multiply the number of pages of updates multiplied by how many scenes per page. There are 84 pages of updates, 7 scenes per page, so that's 588, but the live ones are split, so the number isn't that high. The site has updates dating back to 2004, they update every week.
The live scenes are what brings me back though. Having Isis being more active as a ref, joining in the sex part has really helped the site. Her performance as an unknowing spectator in one live scene is my personal favorite scene of my porn collection.
It's different, it's the hardest lesbian content I've found and it even has some genuine laughs in it. Once you get beyond the site design problems and search issues, you have one of the most original sites on the internet. Recommended to those who are looking for something different and lesbian fans.
Yeah, that was a pretty ugly argument that I finally just gave up on. I don't know what was going on with asmith at that time, he seems to be a good member these days. I don't know if it was one of those moments where he tried to make himself better known by refuting an established member or what. Either way, his view never changed towards my reviews, even after I wrote the follow-up and gave the points back since the DL limit was lifted on Ultimate Surrender.
I do notice that our comments are read on here by sites. Less than a month after my review of US, they lifted the DL limit and less than a week after my comment on Viv Thomas's video site not letting Teen Dreams members download his content as bonus content, but only letting them stream it, he has gone back and started letting the Teen Dreams members download his movies, though they are only 750 bitrate, compared to 2000 on his site.

I checked that August 9th poll, the question was, "On Average, how much time do you spend surfing porn on the internet daily?" Surfing being the key word, surfing means, "browsing" it has nothing to do with watching movies. As for you, I already told you, you are not a voice for the millions of internet users who can say "It is about how much you can watch". First and foremost, I consider myself a porn collector, I have favorite models, who I collect movies and pictures of. So a download limit can hamper the way I use porn. Your way is not the only way, as I told you before.
I hate to break it to you, but my estimation is that the very average porn fan downloads 1 GB per day, on average. The majority of HD clips that are coming out now are in the 750 mb to 1 GB range per CLIP. A full HD DVD will be in the range of 4 GB.
Look at other sites on here that have DL Limits, try Pier 999, where a couple of members have already complained about a 3 GB per day limit, that is 90 GB per month. A few have mentioned the 10 GB per DAY limit on Evelyn's World and one even mentioned an unknown DL limit that Twistys has that has to be in excess of 10 GB per day.
I'm not here to argue, but you made sure to draw my attention to this comment, and the funniest part of all, you criticize my score of this site, even though TBP, the parent site of Porn Users, has it rated closer to my score than yours. Their score is a 78, 8 points above mine, 12 points below yours. Even worse is that Duke of TBP has this site rated a 74, yet you are making it look like I'm the only person who has a problem with this site.
Last, I had more complaints with this site than just the DL limit, I ran out of room at the end and couldn't explain it all, though most of it was mentioned. The wrestling is 100% staged. If not, the parts wouldn't go in the exact same order. First round clothed, second round topless, and so on. Second, the movies are not downloadable in full parts which is a big complaint of mine on any review of a site that uses split clips. I also mentioned the repetitive nature of the site and the way the videos are almost all the same, nothing original after watching one match. Last and the deal killer was the DL limit and high price, which is nearly 33% higher than 6 months ago. Those are all very valid complaints. Not to mention, a 70 isn't a terrible score. If you're going to knock others for using wrong criteria, I would check on my own if I were you, seeing that your score is much higher than TBP's. Good grief, my comparison is flawed though it is based on a monthly bill, yours is based on a one time visit. Think you might better rebuild that one so that it is based on a monthly payment like the site is. And no, if I go to an all you can eat restaurant, that means no limits. Restaurants that have limits say, "All you can eat on one plate" this site didn't tell of that limit.
I tested something today, you mentioned 1-2 hours being the typical porn usage by the members in a poll on here. I will take the middle at 1 1/2 hours and say I downloaded 4 GB from Videobox in 1 1/2 hour yesterday. 4 GB per day for 30 days is 120 GB, the limit is 10 GB. Even if it was 30 minutes of downloading per day, I would get over 1 GB, which is 30 GB per month, still triple the limit. At my download speed, I can download for 10 minutes per day on this site for $30 a month. That is a rip off.
I tried to contact the site 3 times as explained in my discussion with SnowDude. I posted a comment asking the other members if they had a problem with a limit, which tells you the hassle I went through trying to find out about the limit.
On the trust rating, ask yourself this, did I post anything false in the review? All the information about the content, quality of, was true. So what is not to trust? A number? There is no laid groundwork on here for how to grade a site. Most of the members have said on here that they don't just read the score, since we all vary on our opinions. Most posted they are looking for facts about the site, amount and quality of content. If you are basing joining a site on someone else's score, you are going to be in trouble. For example, I'm not an anal sex fan. If I were to review an anal sex site, the score would be lower even if the quality was excellent, because I didn't enjoy it. An anal fan could then say, "Excellent amount of content and quality" without looking at the score.
Last, notice that I listed how much I dropped for the DL limit, now if someone reads it who doesn't mind the DL limit, they can in their head add those points back, right? It just comes off as you loving this site and not liking my low score of it. Everything you complained about has been answered in this post.
I don't get it. First, I write reviews to give my opinion. If I pay for 30 days, I better have access for those 30 days, especially when it is not advertised on their site when I joined. Since you took the long term look at the site, take a short term look instead.
On average I can download 333 MB a day which would equal 10 GB in a month. 333 MB is not one FULL episode. So what, I watch one part one day, the next part the next day? You're being unrealistic. Nobody said anything about being able to watch all of it. I just want my money's worth. I can go on countless sites for less than $30 a month and get unlimited movies.
Let me put it this way, I will never join Ultimate Surrender again, and my score for the site shows that feeling. As for 84% watching 1-2 hours per day. First, that is maybe 20 people, there are millions of people who watch porn. Second, you think because 84% of a couple of dozen people says something that means it would be that way if we asked say, 1,000,000 people?
Tell you what ask anyone, "If you pay for your power bill by the month, how many days do you expect to get power?" There you go. No trust because we have different opinions? You must have quite the ego to believe your opinion is better than someone else's. You're not criticizing my actual review, which are some of the most in-depth on the site, just my opinion on a number that we all different ideas of what that score means. You can also look at the replies between myself and Snowdude and how once explained he thought the DL limit sounded crazy too. Send a poll into the site and ask what is thought of a 10 GB monthly limit, you might be surprised at the results.
Hey SD, I agree. One thing to check out sometime, all of their sites under the "Kink" company name, including fuckingmachines have all went up in price and all now have the 10 GB per month DL limit. As crazy as this sounds, it is possible for a person on telephone line internet to download 10 GB in a month! It has to be a move of greed. If I were them, I would package 2-3 of their sites together and maybe put a premium price on it, say $40 a month. If I was that desparate for money. I had joined fuckingmachines 4 times in the past 2 years, but now they have lost me on that site too with a 10 GB monthly DL limit.
Makes me appreciate some of these other sites a lot more too!
Yeah, I sent them 3 emails as business etiquette would say to stop after 3 without replies. Also notice the price difference. I am almost positive it used to be $21.95 per month, it is now $29.95. The newest Dragon Lily match is a total of 600 MB, at that rate, I would only get 15 matches before hitting the DL limit. I had to go back and check the DL limit because I thought it was 10 GB per day, but this is 10 GB per month. If you break it down, you can only download half of a match per night for the 30 days. That just seemed unfair to me. I usually won't even complain about 1 GB per day limits, but 0.3 GB limit per day for $30 a month is crazy.
Last, maybe you thought it was a daily limit since you mention the downloading everything in a night part. Like with Mike in Brazil's site, it is 1 GB per day so everyone doesn't download all of the content in one night. I can understand that for a few reasons, including stress on servers. But I will be waiting for the Ultimate Surrender staff to explain how making someone download only 10 GB in 30 days is helping them, except for the reason I believe, to make the members have to stay an extra month or two to get all the content.

I had considered joining this site for probably the last 8 months. I never noticed a DL limit. When I went to join, I came through TBP since I thought there was a lower price with TBP. I noticed 10 GB DL limit. I went ahead and joined and honestly just got the Dragon Lily material in a few days and never went back. I guess I should have tried to get more just to see about the DL limit. There isn't anything I could find on their FAQs about DL limit. If the limit is there, I did take off 20 points on my score in the review. I've never seen a DL limit that low before 10 GB per month is 333 MB a day. Just wondering if anyone else ran into the limit or if anyone can confirm it since I would go back if that limit isn't in place.

- Friggin' monthly download limit of 10 GB. I can download 10 GB in one night. 20 points taken off score for this. That is a daily limit of .3 GB
- The majority of the matches are more about girls fingering each other while the other tries to act like she doesn't like it.
- Site can get very repetitive.
- Pictures are good quality, but they are in action pictures so they add very little
Bottom Line:
I didn't know there is a limit on this site. I am positive at one time, there wasn't a limit. If it was 10 GB per day or even 3 GB per day, I wouldn't take off anything, but 10 GB per month? I barely got all of the Dragon Lily matches before hitting my monthly limit. I won't be back.
As an ex-collegiate wrestler, this site really intrigued me since some of the girls look to at least know some grappling moves. The problem is a takedown nets say 10 points, while fingering for 30 seconds nets 100 points. So, there is very little real wrestling going on here. I noticed that the Asian models seem to have martial arts backgrounds and were actually quite impressive with their counters. Still, they don't get to fully show off this wrestling ability since they are trying to suck the other girl's boobs or finger her.
I am all for a woman fingering another, but it is a wrestling site. The matches are broken into rounds and the action looks to be based on these rounds. Round 2-3 will have some almost fingering and a little boob sucking, then round 4 will have the full on fingering. I did notice that some of the women really looked mad in their matches and were trying almost too hard to beat the other women.
The site leaves me torn. I can join a lesbian site if I just want to see fingering, but this does at least have some wrestling, but every match follows the same pattern.
I will use the DL limit as the make/break point that means, not recommended until they drop it!

Nice review, I am a little late on reading some reviews. I haven't joined Ultimate Surrender, but have a thing for Dragon Lily and hear she is one of the major stars of the site. It isn't often that you get to see an Asian woman built like she is. I will definitely look into it. I could see the action turning the women on with so many women into the pain/domination genre. Bottom Line:
This site is easily at the top of the tease niche. Most of these women get so horny they have to restrain themselves from masturbating. Which might very well be the answer to why mainstream porn has lost a lot of its passion. They don't let the women tease enough. Five minutes into these videos you get the idea an ugly, fat guy or an ugly, skinny guy could walk in and get lucky.
That's the part of tease porn that is often missed by the viewer. Women in tease porn get hornier than women in hardcore porn. We're going into natural instincts and I would rather not go too deeply into that but if you like seeing women stripping, "performing" with upskirts, some with pretty panties, some with no panties and turning themselves on, you will love this site.

- The 3rd party content would be a huge bonus for most, but I think I have every Viv video that he has on his site.
- Sometimes the video looks a little grainy, but it isn't that bad unless you are one of the ones who only wants perfect crystal clear quality.
- The pictues like the videos aren't going to make you think of Met-Art, but they are amateur and for amateur they are okay.
- DL limit, I was able to get around 60 GB for the month or about half of their content, so it didn't bother me.
- Nitpicking here, the site looks like it was made in 1996 and hasn't changed since, very plain site design.
Bottom Line:
This site really surprised me. The sex is very real here, and I mean, you actually believe these people really want each other not a paycheck. Because of that, don't always expect pornstar performances like Peter North seemingly holding himself from cumming for 17 minutes on every clip he is in. Some of these go by really fast.
The pictures are a nice touch since it is nice sometimes to see untouched models, no airbrushing, in a regular setting. The video quality for me is great, I don't think I have seen an amateur site with this many videos over 600 in resolution and 1000 on the bitrate.
The price does figure in here since I would imagine many wouldn't risk paying a whole lot for an amateur site. The navigation is pretty basic, which I prefer. If you've never been a member of Viv Thomas videos, you get access here, from what I can see, a little lower quality than you get on Viv's site, which I gave a score of around a 90 on here last year. So that is a definite bonus for those not familiar with Viv's work.
Overall, this is the best real amateur video site that I have been on. I have a few more to try, but I have trouble believing those will be as good as Velvet Ectasy. If you're a fan of amateur videos and pictures, then for that $15 price you can't go wrong with giving it a try. Recommended!
Well, we've had our debates on here about how big a limit should be on daily downloads, and so far on this one, I've been getting around 2.5 gigs per day which will equal out to around 60 gigs for 14.95 and I can definitely deal with that. I believe the limit is 3 gigs. Overall, the content for a amateur site is pretty high quality. This is a good site for those who are married and their spouse likes to watch movies with them. I will post a review in a few weeks, but for now, I'm thinking high 80s, maybe 86-88, which is really good for an amateur site under $15!

Cons:
- You ever thought about walking into a massive store with bargain bin porn DVDs? There are a lot of those here.
- Their marketing interest in releasing 5 DVDs per day has led to a lot of overlapping scenes. There is one scene of Eva Angelina that is on there 4 times from 4 different DVDs.
- The channel add-ons are not updating as much as they were(some aren't at all) in the past and they range from $15 to $35 each if you add them at the beginning of your membership.
Bottom Line:
I really didn't think I would ever join Videobox again. I had the majority of DVD scenes I wanted and since I no longer collect many specific models, it just didn't seem like a site I would be back to.
A long time ago, I saw a scene of Eva Lawrence (spelling could be way off, I have seen it 3 different ways). It is a "handjob" scene but she sits on the guy's stomach and does the earliest variation of the cameltoe slide I remember seeing. I did not have it in my collection. I had seen it on a tube site with the title "The Big Tease #2". I looked on Google and Videobox not only has The Big Tease #2 but also #1 and The Big Tease #4. Every scene on these DVDs has a tease of the cameltoe slide or similar. Each DVD has 8 scenes, that is 24 scenes of a niche I haven't had much success finding. Those alone at 50 cents each easily make a join worth $12.
Once inside, they have another DVD series called, "Stroke, Suck and Tease" and it features similar teases I have been looking for. They have 10 DVDs from that series and those have 10 scenes on each DVD. That's 124 scenes when combining the first ones equaling less than 10 cents a scene. I was looking in the similar/recommended scenes and they had 3 DVDs in the CFNM Partying series. These are extremely rare. One of those features one of Europe's prettiest models ever in Aleska Diamond, dressed, teasing, giving a handjob and sex with her clothes still on. It's true, Aleska now has implants and they are shown in this scene but it is still rare content. I almost wonder if the scenes on these are unused or licensed content from Fully Clothed Sex.
I ended up downloading 429 scenes total. So much for not having a reason to come back, right?
The navigation is still hit or miss. Some models aren't tagged in their scenes. Some are wrongly tagged.
What is standing out to me is a lot of these scenes are 5-10 years old or more. It was before studio porn became an assembly line of scenes with little variance. I also did the Vivid and Evil Angel channels in the last 3 days of the membership. Those were $1.50 each to add thanks to the prorating. They had a few Vivid scenes I haven't been able to find on Vivid's own site.
It is making Videobox more than just a DVD site. This is where those scenes are that you forgot about. A new porn user could easily download multiple Terabytes of scenes.
It is the niches that brought me back. I have no idea how they can come up with 97 niches but they have and it is also something that is lost in newer studio porn. The sites these days are set on giving their scenes a theme and every scene they make follows that theme. Here, you can find a much bigger variety.
It is worth mentioning the nearly 3,000 HD DVDs for those interested in newer content.
Could it be possible that the porn industry's current interest in releasing the same type of scenes day after day could be a way to strengthen a site like Videobox that was previously dropping off? What I mean by that is like the XEmpire Network where HardX, DarkX, EroticaX and LesbianX are so set in sticking to their title their scenes become clinical feeling.
I just randomly picked a studio for that example but it is how many sites/networks are becoming. Here on Videobox you can have 195 scenes of enema action (sorry, had to), 109 scenes of Mardi Gras, 1,277 of Older Men with Younger Women, 268 in prison (can't make this up), 1,015 public scenes, 259 of strippers, even 82 of midgets, 104 of twins, and the more standard porn niches like 63,000+ scenes with oral, 30,000+ of anal, even 393 of double anal and 7,000+ of DPs.
To one extent maybe I am being a little mocking but when the quality of current porn sites using cookie cutter porn reaches the level it has, Videobox is a much better value.
I will go back to my first con. If we could go into a store with stacks and stacks of bargain bin porn we would all be able to find something that interested us. Especially if they have 97 different niches in those DVDs. The newer DVDs do seem to be of "higher quality" with HD options in the download section but I watched a few of those and the only improvement I see is in the technical quality. If you're like me you will also see a lot of models you forgot about. A few for me include: Mason Storm (60 scenes), Cherokee (140 scenes) and Gauge (26 scenes).
It doesn't surprise me that I had a complete flip on my feelings towards Videobox. I always preferred the early 2000s Vivid scenes when looking at DVDs. It just seems it is now happening with all studios. The models were more into their scenes in 2005-2010 than they are in 2019. There is very little competition for Videobox. I can't let 25% lower technical quality hurt 50% better produced and performed scenes.

- I'm pretty sure it's the biggest porn site on the internet and if not, it's close.
- Depending on your tastes, I find most of the new DVD porn to be similar to what you find on the big networks.
- They've cleaned up a lot of navigation and site issues but more issues have showed up.
- The standard membership gives you a lot of value, especially if you're new to porn.
- Download speeds are very good, going right at 80% and up of my max DL speed.
- Most of the new(er) DVDs are in 1080p resolution.
- Still updating with 5 DVDs per day (average of 20 scenes).
- The biggest pro in my opinion is the opportunity to rack up a huge collection of your favorite stars.
- More genres than they realize they have. I believe the only thing you won't find here is gay male porn.
- Easy to join and cancel with their onsite cancellation process.
Cons:
- The search is back to being broken but not really broken, it's just they now include all their scenes from their add-on channels in your search results.
- I used to not think too much of this but it's becoming a big problem now ... way too many repeat scenes.
- If a person joined all the add-on channels Videobox has they would have upwards of $200 invested in a one month membership.
Bottom Line:
I thought the last time I reviewed Videobox would be the last time but at least one model has caught my attention who I've been collecting scenes of and VB has a large amount of scenes of her. It's also the easiest place to add to your niche interests like handjobs and some CFNM too.
What do you get for updating your porn site with 5 DVDs per day for years? A mess. Videobox currently shows 19,748 DVDs and that's 106,244 scenes. The dilemma you'll find yourself in is there's no doubt you can find something you'll like or maybe even a lot that you like but you will spend a whole lot of time trying to find it all and a lot of frustration.
My current example: I once saw a CFNM scene that featured this unnamed model, the other 2 models were named in it but this other one played the role of the sweet, shy, innocent girl who just watched. I thought she looked familiar but I don't join a lot of sites with the newest models on them. I then found out she's Dillon Harper who is one of the most popular models in porn. Anyway, I looked around for content of her and Videobox says it has 48 scenes of her.
So, I joined a few weeks ago and sure enough, they have 48 scenes of her. That is if you have Videobox, their PornPros add-on channel ($15), their Reality Kings add-on channel (which is where I first saw her), their Evil Angel add-on channel ($15). It might not seem like that bad since you would think those individual studios would maybe only have 2-4 scenes max but here's how it breaks down:
PornPros Channel has 14 of her. Evil Angel Channel has 9 of her. Reality Kings Channel which cannot be joined any longer has 3 of her. Elegant Angel has 1.
So, of those 48 scenes, only 21 are available with a Videobox membership. It gets worse. Of those 21, 3 are the exact same scene listed as Natural Tits #23 scene 8, Don't Get Mad, I Fucked Your Dad #1 scene 2 and Young Freaks #3 scene 2. So, I'm down to 19 new scenes. There's two others that look like they've been doubled.
Meaning I went in thinking I was going to get 48 scenes of Dillon Harper but only got 15-16. As much as I want to keep complaining about this that's still a decent amount for the price but more so than that, it was so time-consuming and frustrating to sort through the scenes that weren't included with membership.
Videobox has and always has had every chance to be a dominant force in porn but the add-on channels are now dying off and they're still asking full price for them. I mean really, $35 a month for a Kink channel? You can join the Kink network for half of that and sometimes for a 1/3 of that and have access to thousands of more Kink scenes. It's not that I'm that bothered by the add-on channels as it is that their scenes are now mixed in the search results. Those add-ons have lowered the navigation of a site that already struggled in navigation.
There are positives including the amount of HD DVDs. They're showing having around 5,500 HD DVDs, that's almost 30,000 HD scenes ... but, those damned add-on channels content are included in those numbers.
I have been frustrated by their insistence to cater to their mainstream porn audience and that's still a problem. They added 10 "handjob" DVDs in 2017 but 4 of those are cumshot compilations that just happen to have handjobs in them. So, they averaged a handjob DVD per 2 months. The same 2 months that saw a total of 300 DVDs added. I think it all shows contentment on their behalf. Videosz made a run at them but they're now struggling and Videobox just sits there with their manipulated numbers to make them look even bigger than they are. Which is something they don't even need to do.
Despite all this negative and frustration, if you know who you're looking for, you can still get more content of them here than almost anywhere else. Here's a few examples:
Tanner Mayes 56 scenes, Alexis Texas 189 scenes, Sophie Dee 164 scenes, Bree Olson 59 scenes, Tori Black 113 scenes, Naomi Russell 134 scenes, Sunny Lane 49 scenes, and Nautica Thorn 165 scenes.
I used those because those are ones I had either deleted or lost and needed to get back. That's a lot of porn. But nearly each one had Evil Angel scenes in their scenes and if you're into the newer models most have Porn Pros Channel scenes in their scenes.
I even found a model who I haven't seen hardly no content of Priva, a Thai model and they have 19 scenes of her but 2 are Evil Angel, which is where I think I first saw her.
What I think is sad is that I can sit here and see all this potential but I know Videobox has been around for nearly 20 years and I have to think if they've not reached their potential after that long, they're not likely going to. I think it would take shutting the site down for a few months and doing major clean-ups to make a positive change even possible. As it is, I join it and have a list ready of who I'm looking for. Still recommended but only for those with patience and who are new to porn.

- Five full DVD updates per day.
- Their definition of HD includes anything 720p or higher resolution. Based on it, roughly 25% of their DVDs are HD quality.
- What tags they have are actually pretty good
- Premium channels are the big draw for me. Will detail them below in bottom line.
- If you like late 90s, early 2000s porn, a Videobox membership combined with the Vivid channel is probably the best buy in porn.
- Download speeds can vary, but are usually consistent. The variances happen at certain times each day and sometimes it's actually faster, other times way slower.
- My download manager works well (free download manager), but I limit how many files it downloads to 20 at a time so not to risk download links timing-out.
- A generally easy to use site, easy to cancel, unless you do something I do, then canceling can be frustrating. Explanation in bottom line.
Cons:
- Back years ago, I was convinced that VB was steadily trying to improve their site. Not so anymore. I think they have settled into a mass porn site and have no intentions of making themselves any worse or any better.
- Video quality is inconsistent. They'll have a "HD" scene that is 720p with a 1,500 bitrate. While also calling a 720p scene with an 8,000 bitrate "HD". I could just call this being sloppy and careless since it's what it is.
- Pricing is good unless you want the premium channels and join them early in your Videobox membership. See bottom line.
- Loads of newly added DVDs that are full of scenes already on the site under different names. Gives the impression of recycling content, but I think they're just ... sloppy and careless. I have one Eva Angelina scene, four different times and none are the same length. I don't even know who to blame for those, the producers milking a scene or Videobox bloating their numbers.
Bottom Line:
This was at one time one of my favorite sites. I still think it's an excellent site for new members and for those who like that late 90s, early 2000s era porn. Their newer DVDs are good, but the majority fall into the cookie-cutter porn genre, seen one you've seen them all type of porn. That's where the premium channels come in. These are the premium channels with their prices if you add them on the first day of your Videobox subscription: Evil Angel $15 - You can get a full subscription to Evil Angel for the same price using the PU discount, it's a much better deal. Reality Kings $15 - Roughly the same price as you can get from PU, and it's a better deal than the add-on channel.
Kink $35 - Pretty unique channel, it's sort of a best of or compilation of Kink's various sites, it's a great addition, but I hold off until the prorated price brings the cost below $10.
Soft On Demand $35 - Typical Japanese site with mostly censored/blurred pubic areas. It's okay, join it for the last week of your VB subscription if you're interested in Japanese porn. Elegant Angel $15 - It's a good deal if you like Elegant Angel, but I've never joined it.
Club Tranny $15 - Maybe a good buy for those interested in this genre. Vivid $15 - Great add-on, to my knowledge it's the biggest collection of downloadable Vivid DVDs on the internet. Vivid's site didn't have downloads when I was last a member on it (about 9 months ago), so this is a really good deal if you like Vivid.
I admit, I'm a cheapskate when it comes to Videobox. I wait until half of my Videobox subscription is over then join Vivid. This gives you a prorated price of $7.50. I then join Kink when there's less than a week left on my Videobox subscription which gets the price below $10. This is the problem with this method:
If you cancel your main Videobox subscription then decide to add say Vivid or Kink or both or any of the other add-on channels, it reopens your Videobox subscription. Or better said, it cancels out your cancellation of Videobox. It goes like this: Videobox canceled on 11/22/2015, membership lasts until 12/3/2015. Vivid channel added on 11/29/2015 Videobox renews on 12/3/2015.
I would be complaining more about that, but I don't think it's an attempt to rip-off customers as much as it is ... sloppy and careless. You just have to go back and cancel Videobox each time you add a new channel if added after your initial cancellation.
Overall, Videobox has little to offer me anymore except being the gateway to those premium channels. For a new member, I think it's a great place to start your porn collection. The quality can vary greatly even if it says a scene is HD, you really don't know what the quality is until you download it. You can kind of guess by looking at file size, but they don't list bitrates on any of their scenes.
The search engine has become all but useless. Even going directly to your favorite stars pages can be misleading. I've thought I'd downloaded every scene for a model only to see 2-3 scenes listed in the recommended scenes that aren't listed with the model. The premium channels cause a problem here too since the search results will give you results all across Videobox and all their premium channels. This is one that has bothered me for years. If you search "Taylor Hayes", a late 90s, early 2000s superstar model, she will be listed in dozens of scenes, but most are on the Vivid channel.
They do offer a package of 5 premium channels for an extra $50 a month, which is certainly cheaper than their current rates on those channels, but it's still pretty costly.
Downloading from the site is no longer as easy as it used to be. I use free download manager. With it, I can click and drag a link into it. Each time I do it on Videobox it says, "Select preference". I hate to be an ass, but didn't I select my preference when I clicked the format I wanted to drag to my download manager?
While Videobox is still one of the better values in porn, it's also becoming one of the more frustrating and annoying sites in porn as well. There's also the problem with videos playing while you're trying to load your download manager and you rarely have taken the time to mute those videos so expect everyone in your house to wonder who's having sex.
You could do far worse than Videobox, but it's time for Videobox to give up its crown as the best porn DVD site. I also have a membership to Videosz and will review it soon. Videobox might be depending too much on their premium channels to deliver non-mainstream porn.
I joined for one main reason. I couldn't find my Videobox external hard drive following a move. I downloaded my favorite scenes, most of which were on Vivid and added a 100 GB or so of Kink content. My current Videobox folder is smaller than those and it's why I rated it 80. If you're new to VB then add 10 points to the score. Recommended for new members and those who have lost their favorite scenes.
I haven't decided whether to write a re-review of Videobox, but I did add the Japanese "Soft on Demand" channel and thought I would share some info on it for anyone interested or maybe even warn others.
I've always wanted to join a Japanese video site, but wondered how I would feel about the mosaic. Lets get that out of the way first. Every scene I've downloaded from Soft on Demand has the mosaic/censorship. There isn't a search filter for uncensored, so I'm guessing it's all censored. I have to say it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. In a way, I even thought the mosaic censoring gave the content a more believable feeling (in voyeur and public scenes especially).
These are the numbers for the channel.

Maybe the biggest selling point to the content are the fetish scenes. There definitely seems to be more creativity in these scenes than the American counterparts. I should also mention, no scene I've watched has English subtitles, so this does take away some since some of the scenes have 25-30 minutes of story building up to the last 10-15 minutes of sex. To put the amount of fetish content into perspective, 347 of the 564 scenes are listed as fetish.
My feeling towards this channel is pretty simple. If I had joined it for the full month it would have cost in the $30 range just to add it. I wouldn't have been happy about it. Joining for a week at the prorated price though, gave me a pretty good view of Japanese porn without the big price. I would recommend adding it for a week or less. I am going to keep roughly 30-35 scenes I downloaded from it. I still prefer Vivid's channel and even Kink's channel.
And one last note, there are no HD scenes or DVDs on this channel.
