I'm not surprised; $50/month is really outrageous.

I don't think it's really "rough", there are much rougher sites out there (such as SadoSlaves). Personally I'm not a big fan of rough SM (and especially don't like "abuse" theme), so what turned me on about FunnyBDSM was it's funny part.

Depends on your preferences (see my reviews of SexAndSumbission, FuckedAndBound and FunnyBDSM). For "Real BDSM" stories SexAndSumbission IMHO wins hands down, with FuckedAndBound going close second (can't comment on ChantasBitches).
> is the action "fakey?"
For stories NOT labeled as "Real BDSM" - yes, definitely; for "Real BDSM" ones - probably not.
> Interesting stories or just silly stuff?
Depends on your point of view: for me they're interesting, but I won't make any representations :-) - for some they can easily be "silly stuff". Take a look at descriptions of "Heil Dickler" and "Court of Justice" series in public area of the site - they're pretty much accurate.

Usually they're quite cooperative in cases like this (when it is not content being disputed, but site doesn't provide access). Personally I'd give CCBill another try, making it crystally clear what is the problem.

If you paid with a credit card, I would suggest to go to CCBill first and explain situation in detail. If CCBill doesn't help, go to your bank with explanation along the following lines: "this was a payment for subscription service which I paid for a month and access was terminated after 2 days. All my numerous attempts to contact merchant didn't succeed"; as the service wasn't really provided, they should be able to revert original credit card transaction.

Personally I've never hit it, but I won't be surprised if they do. As most of really good sites, kink.com has technical stuff who're not on par with content to put it mildly. See my comments about their login system, which is one of the most annoying ones in the industry.

It would be indeed "cross-sale" and "special offer" if checkbox is NOT pre-checked (like reputable sites and processors like CCBill do). If it is pre-checked, I name it swindling; sure, you can invent your own names. BTW, I'm pretty sure that my issuing bank will side with me in disputing this charge if I will ever fail to notice such small print (on payment page I was selecting some specific price, and was charged a different one, with amount actually being charged being NEVER shown to me; that should be enough for bank, VISA or court to revert this charge and put fines as well as punitive damages to processor and/or merchant). Disclaimer: opinions here are just my personal opinions and shouldn't be taken as legal advice.

> So if we all do it why does it feel so wrong!
"It's all in your head, Mr. Tweedy, it's all in your head" :-). More seriously, modern society obviously still has prejudice against porn (just like 100 years ago there was prejudice against alcohol strong enough to amend US constitution to prohibit it), and most likely you have too much respect for society to throw away it's prejudices. But things will hopefully change, like it has already changed in many areas. As a prominent example, some time ago there was a very strong prejudice against gays, but now it has almost vanished; I'm pretty sure the same will eventually happen to porn. Meanwhile, I suggest to analyze WHY it's wrong? Because it hurts somebody or just because majority says it's wrong? If it's only the latter, it's a prejudice to be thrown away (why you should allow OTHERS to decide what's right and what's wrong for YOU as long as it doesn't hurt anybody?)

I see, thanks. Things are much worse than, with CCBill probably being the only trustworthy processor to date (at least it wasn't caught doing it - I think they're doing almost the same thing but with checkbox unchecked, and it IMHO changes things dramatically from swindling to not so annoying upsell) :-(.
> generally the trial sites seem to be owned by the same owner of the sites that I'm subscribing too
I used to think so too until I've run into Epoch using the same technique on purchase of Diabolic site selling PornStarsTop, and these 2 sites don't seem to be related (I'd even say they're from very different leagues).

Thanks for warning.
Do you remember what was their credit card processor? Wasn't it Epoch by any chance? I've seen such thing (which I think is nothing short of swindling) a few times recently, and I think it was Epoch all (or at least most of) the time.
Moreover, I'm not even sure if webmasters of original sites get anything from such "trials"; it would be very interesting to see a comment from one of them here (and if Epoch is doing it without consent of webmasters, it can easily find themselves in a DEEP TROUBLE; such company as Diabolic won't hesitate to sue Epoch in such case).

I see ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with viewing porn. Nobody gets hurt (except for people like those who established Prohibition back 100 years ago), and after all it is MY money I'm spending, and if I prefer to watch porn to other form of entertainment (like watching Gone With the Wind), it is MY right to spend the money the way I want (as long as my family doesn't get hurt by my porn spending).
Moreover, I feel that watching porn is helping me to avoid REAL problems, like going to prostitutes (for me it's all about variety, and I'm getting enough variety watching porn).
