Interesting review, pat. I'm definitely not in her target market, not being interested in MILFs. But even if I was, the need to download in segments would keep me away. I really don't understand how a webmaster could get a site so wrong.

I'm really convinced that they use this as a way to encourage you to buy better quality stuff from VOD sites. That way they con you out of money to join this site and then pay for a better version later. Most studio sites don't do the internet well but JM Productions is far worse than most of the others. They don't even pretend to try.
I like your thought that this is an early 1990s site with some updates. That is a perfect description. And perfectly accurate!

Jerkoff Zone sells itself as the official JM Productions (JMP) site. For those who dont know JMP, they are known for their extreme hardcore material. Think Max Hardcore toned down just a bit. Theyre known for such series as American Bukkake, American Gokkun, Young & Anal, Tough Love and Gag Factor. Im a big fan of most of their work and the sites intro page listed all the series that I liked, so I presumed Id have some decent access to that material. It turns out that the site over promises and under delivers. They cant be accused of false advertising because there are scenes from all the series they mention on the site, but most are not well represented. Take the Young and Anal series which has about 40 editions now (assuming four scenes per edition makes that roughly 160 scenes) and the site offers just two scenes from this series. Thats the worst it gets, but it doesnt really get much better with the other series. Take American Bukkake this is a groundbreaking series and really has no competition in the American market. There are 40 editions, with usually two scenes per movie. The site offers four scenes. American Gokkun? Of the 10 editions (20 scenes) produced, two are on the site. You get the picture.
I might not have as much to complain about if the video quality was good, but it isnt. Back in late 2008 the site started offering high quality video for both download and streaming, though the streaming is lower quality than the video. Even in 2008, though, the quality was barely up to industry standards. In 2011 it is woefully inadequate. The best resolution on the site is 720x480 @ 2000kbps. Those are rare though. More common is 720x480 @ 1500 and 640x480 @1500. Videos posted before January 2008 (maybe 40%) are virtually unwatchable at 320x240@ 460 and even as low as 235kbps. There are no options for downloads either just the one WMV file. One good thing is that Free Download Manager worked flawlessly.
The site layout is very basic. The main page is broken down in to several sections: videos, BTS scenes, Travels with Ashley Blue and trailers.
The video page opens to a page with all the videos. They are sorted by upload date and not by DVD title. There is no option to sort them in any other way. There are approximately 180 videos posted, with 40% of those being poor resolution. The Travels with Ashley Blue is just four links to a handful of photos of Ms. Blue touring porn shops. The BTS section has about 70 BTS scenes from various titles. Then there are trailers for other JMP DVDs. So for the $20 fee all you really get is maybe 100 watchable porn scenes. The site relies too much on filler like BTS and trailers and markets them as if they have real value to a consumer. They can be interesting, but they arent what people join for.
The site claims to update every couple of days and that might be true, but the update is more likely to be a BTS or trailer than an actual scene.
When I joined I was offered a $13.95 discounted price to another JMP site, Gag Factor. I took that option and as it is sold as a stand-alone site Ill post a review of that later. I have no way of knowing if the discount is a standard offer. Ill give full credit to the site for not making this a pre-checked cross-sell.
The biggest disappointment about this site for me is that is mostly a wasted effort. JMP makes excellent porn. The production values are good, they use top female talent and they have some of the more innovative niche series out there. They are also a prolific studio and must have hundreds of titles to their credit. But they continue in the tradition of studios not putting much effort into their websites. The site offers only a fraction of the material that the studio has, it offers it in poor quality and on a site that looks like it took them an hour to put together. It seems to me that a poor effort like this would reflect badly on the whole studio. I have no idea why JMP would have such a poor internet site. They do offer a lot more on VOD sites, so maybe they push that to make more money. If thats the case, then the website is just a large advertising site that people pay money for. If thats the case, I guess Ive been had. At least they bill through CCBill so I know I can cancel easily. They also heavily push DVDs, which seems odd to me. Are they living in a time warp?
If they offered much more of their catalogue at good resolutions this could be a good value at even twice the price. As it stands though, this isnt a good value at the current price.
Should you join this site? If youre a huge JMP fan then give it a try, knowing that it isnt a very good site. If you want to dabble in some unique JMP stuff, youre better off just giving them your money at a VOD site or finding a DVD at your local shop, which is probably what they want anyway. |

Most porn fans seem to like a good facial finish so it’s a good thing to have sites that cater to this interest. This site has been on my radar for several years because of its promise of facial finishes but I’d never got around to joining it until recently.
Apart from the site’s main claim to fame being the facial finish it is otherwise a relatively mainstream vanilla porn site. I’m not saying that this is a bad thing. Not every site has to have an extreme kink. A significant majority of the scenes here are oral only. While some of the scenes do include vaginal sex, they are certainly in the minority. The only minor drawback to this is that there is only so much variety you can bring to a blowjob scene. But, regardless of whether the scene contains actual sex or not every scene delivers on the site’s title. While not all the facials fit the title’s description of “monsters” most of them are quite large and many of them are above the industry average.
Within the members area the scenes are not dated. Oddly though, on the tour pages they are dated as far back as 2014. Judging by some of the models who appear earlier than that the site appears to have started somewhere between 2008 and 2010. The upside to that is that the site is quite large now with approximately 600 scenes available. A new scene is added every two weeks.
While the site does appear to be relatively low budget the production values are excellent. The lighting, camera work and editing are all top-notch.
The site is a who’s who of A-list models over the past 10+ years. There are many models who have multiple (5+) scenes here.
The tour pages on the site are well done in that they allow any prospective member to get a good sense of what will be available upon subscribing. I wish every site followed this model.
The site layout is dated. While the site itself appears to date from around 10+ years ago the site seems like it could be a lot older than that. If you check the site out, I think you’ll immediately see what I mean by this. But, and I want to make this abundantly clear, that the outdated look and interface in no way detracts from the quality of the porn.
The older scenes on the site aren’t up to modern standards but that’s to be expected. If the site does date back to around 2008 then the older videos uploaded then are still lower resolution than what was state-of-the-art at that time. The highest resolution for the older videos on the site is 640x480. The good news is that the quality improves as the years go by. There is a relatively brief period of videos at 720p but then the site goes to 1080p, which is the current highest resolution. The framerate is also great at 9000kb/s. Even going back several years (and remember the scenes aren’t dated) the resolution stays at 1080p though the framerate drops a bit. The scenes still look good right up until the oldest scenes.
BTS fans will find a lot to like here. For what appears to be every scene on the main site there is a BTS scene. Unlike many other BTS which are short, these scenes are a stationary camera set up that runs during the posing, undressing and then the oral and sex (if there is sex). Think of this as a ‘fly on the wall’ approach to BTS. Interestingly, most of these BTS scenes are almost as long as the actual scene itself so there is very little editing. I found it interesting to watch these BTS scenes as they can show a model you like with her natural traits coming through. As an example, Emma Hix comes across as a total professional who wants to ensure that the site gets the best from her.
When I join a new site I often make it a point to see if there is a download limit. My guess is that the ‘professional’ reviewers here at TBP don’t have the time to find a limit if one exists. I can report that I made it a point to download a lot of scenes (which I will keep) and didn’t encounter a download limit or throttling at any time. I also found the site allowed me to queue scenes with a download manager and the links didn’t time out. I found that download speeds were fast.
I joined using the TBP link and the biller was, as reported, CCBill. I always have a lot of confidence when joining a site through a reputable biller like them.
Unfortunately, there is no TBP discount offered to the site but at $25 USD the site is still an excellent value.
The bottom line is that this is a great mainstream porn site. The site has a lot to offer in terms of quality and quantity. The models are among the best in the industry and the site has been around long enough that you can access scenes with your favourite models from years ago. While the site itself has a very dated look that doesn’t detract from the positives. Even without a TBP discount the site offers an excellent value. If you are into facial finishes then this is a site you need to seriously consider. |

I know that other reviewers have given higher scores and more positive reviews, but I cant share a lot of that optimism. For me a site needs to have great porn and be a great site to get a high score but there are exceptions. If a site offers unique porn in an underserved niche then Im more willing to overlook some of the sites flaws. For Jim Slip, however, the porn isn't so unique as to allow me to overlook some of the sites major flaws. I realize that taking this position opens the door to a lot of subjectivity so Ill try to justify why I think this site could use a lot of improvement.
The sites primary niche is older man / younger woman porn, a niche that I really like. So for that reason this site had been on my radar for a while before I finally joined. Im glad I waited as will become apparent below. While I like the niche, the fact that Jim books most of his models from Eastern Europe and Russia means that many of them dont have good or any English skills so the interaction between them is sometimes limited. The interaction between the performers is usually what creates the heat in a scene and the less interaction means less heat, in my opinion.
Another niche that may be of interest is that Jims wife Lara, a hot MILF, sometimes appears in the scenes with the girls. This doesnt happen often enough for me to suggest that you buy a membership just to see these scenes. The membership includes Laras site but this review focuses solely on Jim Slip.
Since the site has been around a while it can be a stroll through Eastern European / Russian porn. The site certainly has most of the top EE/Russian model from the past 12 years though some of the models are less than A-list.
The site currently has about 600 videos uploaded with a new video being offered once a week. There are several big caveats to that number though. The first is that many, and perhaps most, of the scene are uploaded in two parts with the first part being uploaded one week and the second the following week. The split doesnt occur at some obvious break in the scene, nor does it split up an unusually long scene. Most of the scenes run about an hour with about 30 minutes being uploaded per week. (One file is added per week.) So with this in mind, the actual number of full scenes is less than 600. My educated guess is that there might be 350-400 full scenes.
The second major flaw with the scenes is that many of them are unwatchable by todays standards. The site has been around since 2003 and from that date to August 2009 the videos were as low as 320x240 and only reached 480x360 with low bitrates. To make matters worse, these videos cant be downloaded as a single file; for many of them there could be eight or more files required for the full scene. Im no technical expert, but if there was a way to remaster these to a better resolution and combine them into a single file that would go a long way to improving the site. What this means for a member is that almost half of the videos are poor quality and in segments.
Starting in August 2009 the files became available in 1280x720 with bitrates that range from low to reasonable. Then, in July 2010 1920x1080 files became available with bitrates hitting as high as 12000kb/s. Currently there are about 90 files (or approximately 45 full scenes) offered in this resolution, with other options being the 720p and 540p.
Streaming is also available in the same available download resolutions for each scene,
Another flaw is that for a commercial site there are far too many broken links. I didnt download a lot from the site and I still encountered dozens of dead links. In many cases a lower resolution of the scene was available, but this really shouldnt occur.
The site does permit you to use a download manager to queue up scenes and I had no problem with the links timing out. Other users report that the site wont allow multiple downloads but I cant confirm that as I dont do that. Download speeds were average to slightly better than average. One minor flaw is that all the files are named with a generic name; fullcomplete is the current name though it is different on older files. Be prepared to rename files as you download them.
Would I recommend this site? Probably not unless there is some compelling reason for you to do so. If there is a must-have scene with a model you collect or you really like this niche then it may be worth it to join. There is a TBP/PU discount that makes the membership a slightly better value. But the porn itself isn't particularly great; there are better older guy / younger girl sites out there and there are better sites that feature the same models. And most of those sites offer better resolutions, fewer dead links and better download options, including the full scene being uploaded all at once. I wouldnt say dont join this site, but its unlikely that Ill be back. |

If you dig around you'll find more like this. I reported the two I mentioned and got an email that they were fixed. They obviously aren't. It surprises me that all of their members aren't complaining about the broken links so much that they actually get fixed. With a couple of the dead links I was able to access the site by going to IAFD and looking up the title and then searching those specific stars on the JJ site. That didn't fix the whole problem since some scenes aren't associated with DVDs on the site.

What is your experience like with broken links on the site? I've been a member at Jules Jordan multiple times and that is something I notice a lot more of than on comparable sites.
To use two examples, two of the most recent updates, Manuel Ferrara's Ripe 4 and Double Black Penetration 4 are dead links. In fact, I can't even see the DVD cover for Ripe 4. For both, clicking on the link merely cycles me back to the main DVD page. Is your experience different?
I emailed the site last weekend and they said it was fixed but I see no change.
I wouldn't ordinarily be so picky but I've noticed this every time I have a membership there.
Do you have a similar experience?
(I should add that I've tried the usual things on my end, including using a different browser, but nothing works. I still get the broken links.)

I just rejoined this site and it appears that the issue is that the links time out very quickly. I didn't have any problem with downloads failing but I couldn't queue up scenes in my download manager like I used to be able to here and still do with most sites. It means more work to get the scenes you want and it is annoying but it's still some great porn for those of us who like hardcore with a harder edge.

What bugs me most is when these tactics are used by porn companies that offer great porn. Why fuck over your customers and risk having them not come back? When you have a great product and people willing to pay for it why not NOT fuck them over? Like you, I'm not asking for special treatment, just fair treatment.

Amen to that. But I'd add to this that the fact that Jules Jordan's DVDs are divided between two $30 sites is also part of the scam. But then this isn't the only site that uses this tactic. They have the basics covered well: they shoot excellent porn, they make it available in a variety of resolutions up to and including true HD, they have great download speeds, they update regularly and the price is fair. So why, why, why do they feel the need to do this to customers???

I'm a big JJ fan too but one thing about the site that bugs me is how, like so many other studio sites, they don't seem to take the internet as seriously as they should. I think that in most cases the missing scenes from the DVDs aren't actually missing, but they're posted on JJ's other site, The Ass Factory, where you'll have to pay another $30 to join that. The good news is that once you've joined the first time and get on their mailing list then send offers out a couple of times a year with a decent price cut - so watch your email.
