If you dig around you'll find more like this. I reported the two I mentioned and got an email that they were fixed. They obviously aren't. It surprises me that all of their members aren't complaining about the broken links so much that they actually get fixed. With a couple of the dead links I was able to access the site by going to IAFD and looking up the title and then searching those specific stars on the JJ site. That didn't fix the whole problem since some scenes aren't associated with DVDs on the site.

What is your experience like with broken links on the site? I've been a member at Jules Jordan multiple times and that is something I notice a lot more of than on comparable sites.
To use two examples, two of the most recent updates, Manuel Ferrara's Ripe 4 and Double Black Penetration 4 are dead links. In fact, I can't even see the DVD cover for Ripe 4. For both, clicking on the link merely cycles me back to the main DVD page. Is your experience different?
I emailed the site last weekend and they said it was fixed but I see no change.
I wouldn't ordinarily be so picky but I've noticed this every time I have a membership there.
Do you have a similar experience?
(I should add that I've tried the usual things on my end, including using a different browser, but nothing works. I still get the broken links.)

I've been burned by similar sites. My guess is that Open Life tacks these 'solo' sites on so that can call themselves a network. I haven't been a member at Open Life in a while but I recall mostly liking it. (It's odd that I didn't review it though...)

It really depends for me. I have a lot of trust in a site that has an extensive tour section that allows me to search what they have. For example, if I might consider joining a site to see a specific model I'd like to know that she has scenes there. If I can search for her that's good. I also have more trust in sites that allow a prospective member to actually see a clip or two to gauge quality. Same with photos.
What I don't have a lot of trust in are sites that have no links on the main page that don't drop you into the join page immediately. Also, there are a lot of sites that show hundreds of thumbnails but they are all from the same 20 scenes.
Even if I don't fully trust a site I'll still consider joining if they bill through a reputable biller. Having a reputable biller means that my risk is significantly lower.

I'm a big fan of Kink too and would score it as high. But, also like you, I think Kink needs to consider what made it great and get back to that. They still are the best BDSM network on the internet and now that they offer a membership that allows access to everything they will remain that way for the foreseeable future. I agree that they need to get back to where they used to be and start a couple of new sites. It's possible that they haven't toned things down (though I think they have) but certainly other sites bring more passion to BDSM. Remember Water Bondage? That was an amazing site and I wish they'd bring that back. It's probably too expensive to produce though. The Training of O has also been toned down a lot. Remember the 'old' days where it really was BDSM training? I really liked some of those older videos filmed over four days with discipline training mixed in with some sex. I just don't 'feel' it with the newer scenes.

Yes, it's still a mix of POV and cameraman. They made that switch quite a while ago so I don't even notice it now.
I find the POV pretty good though. But like you, I'd prefer if there was less or no POV.

I have no insider information obviously, but I read on another forum that they sold the Armory where they used to set all their scenes. That might be a sign of some financial trouble. Their overhead was probably unsupportable given the level of piracy.
I wish them well because they still are the best 'mainstream' BDSM sites on the internet.

I'm not questioning your experience and I haven't been a member there since June of this year, but I've never had any issues downloading. The worst I've had there is that the download speeds are slower than I'm used to seeing but I was able to download and faced nothing like you report.
I hope what you experienced is just temporary. Can you add a comment and update us as your membership is coming to the end? I'd like to know how you make out.

I chose 'I always join if I want to' because that's true, but I also always read all the reviews and specs at TBP and PU. If a reviewer doesn't like the site I'd still be inclined to join if I like the porn, but at least I go into it with my eyes open. The real value is when a TBP or PU reviewer gives information that there is something about the site that would be a deal breaker for me. Like if the biller is bad, the site is streaming only or there is an unreasonable download limit. Those are warnings that definitely influence my decision.

An interesting review...
I've been a member here many times and still join occasionally but a lot of the sites don't update any more. This site is tremendous value for someone who is just new to collecting porn though. It has a lot to offer, as do most of the Fame sites.
One caveat: cancelling through their online service is a pain in the ass. It can be done, but be prepared to have to enter a lot of information. I'm glad to hear that the chat worked for support. That may be the way to go.

Well, back in the 1980s when all the pornstars were voluptuous and had large breasts I was in love with the very few who were petite. So in that way I was ahead of the curve when more petite models became more frequent. ;-)
