Man, I can't catch a break! The last three memberships I've bought have hit some sort of a snag. Maybe I should give up on porn and take up knitting or something...
The offer I had was definitely for $39. I wonder why there is a difference? Maybe you're a better customer than I am? Maybe their database figured I'd need less persuasion. It might also be some sort of regional pricing too. Maybe only U.S. residents got the $29 offer. That doesn't make any sense though, since it doesn't cost Kink any more to allow a Canadian or a New Zealander full access for the $29 U.S. price.
I suspect if I emailed Kink to ask them why they've made the same offer at different prices they'd just ignore that one.

This is an excellent deal. Thanks for pointing it out. I usually avoid taking email deals because what's offered is, at best, the TBP/PU discount so I join through TPB/PU so they get any referral fee. But in this case the offer was just too good to refuse. I signed up for the $39 access to every site and if I read it correctly that is the recurring price for future months too. I don't normally hang around sites longer than one month but this deal is so good I might just never leave. This is likely a great marketing plan for Kink.
On a negative note, I still can't stand their new site look. The old look was dated but far more user-friendly.

I chose other simply because I don't know how to reply. It's sort of like a steak versus chicken thing. American porn will likely always be my favorite because I'm more of a porn collector than a porn user and it's easier to collect American porn because the models tend to have one stage name throughout their career. I collected as much Tanner Mayes as I could, for example, and that was easy because except for a few rare early scenes she was Tanner Mayes. The same can't be said for Eastern European and Russian models. They seem to change names on a weekly basis so collecting scenes from a specific model is much harder.
I will say that for harder-edged porn the Eastern Europeans and Russians are the best.

Maybe I'm out of line here, but I don't think that what I'm asking for is unreasonable. I'm not asking them to cancel the membership and let me walk away. I want to pay for what I intended to buy. If this were a bricks-and-mortar store this wouldn't be an issue. I'm hoping that the person on the 'support' chat this morning was just having a bad day. Heck, I'd even pay the full monthly fee and not the TBP discount price.
So I've emailed MBI Probiller and asked them for one of two things: either reconsider their unwillingness to help me or give me a contact email for the Playboy site. Every contact link on the Playboy site directs to Probiller so when Probiller tells me to take it up with Playboy that rings hollow.
Whether Probiller even responds to the email is another question though...

I won’t go so far as to say this site is a scam because it isn’t, but it also isn’t what I was expecting either. And the tour page certainly leads a buyer to think they’re getting a lot more than what they will actually get for joining.
If you’re like me, when you join a newly created site you expect it to be small but you accept that. I joined this site knowing that it was quite new and would be small and that’s really the only expectation that this site met.
There are currently 12 videos available. The TBP page listed that there were 12 videos but that was in June so I expected to see some growth in the site which would make it a better value now than it would have been in June. That assumption was incorrect: this site hasn’t updated since June. Nothing has been added in the last four months. I think it’s a reasonable assumption to make after four months of no updates that this site is stillborn and won’t add anything in the future.
To make matters worse, the 12 scenes are only available for download in one resolution and in only one file type. MP4 is the only option, but since it’s the most commonly available I won’t fault the site for making that choice though they do have to take the blame for not offering any resolution options at all. But wait! It gets even worse: the one resolution available is only 960x540. Bitrates vary with most being around 2500kb/s but a couple of the files have bitrates as high as 6000. Maybe you won’t agree with me, but I think that having these as the only available resolution is 2015 isn’t acceptable.
The scenes themselves aren’t really anything special either. Obviously all of them play on the stepfather / stepdaughter theme and those can get repetitive but the scenes don’t bring a lot of heat either. It isn’t bad porn, it’s just average porn.
I won’t name names because it would be rude to do so, but most of the models here are not A-list material. I could be accused of perpetuating a stereotype but I prefer models who are young and petite. The models are young, but some of them are much more natural in that they have a pretty sizeable muffin top. One has stretch marks from a recent pregnancy. Of the 12 scenes available I only kept six.
I realize that other sites do this too, but this site plays on racial stereotypes for the black male characters. Highlighting the fact that one of the stepdads just got out of jail and has to wear an ankle monitor adds nothing to the scene. Why couldn’t some of the black stepdads be lawyers or obstetricians? Don’t porn writers know about Dr. Huxtable? Bill Cosby is a great role model isn't he?
This is neither a pro nor a con, but there are no anal scenes at all. Apparently anal sex isn’t on the menu when you’re fucking your chubby stepdaughter.
Photos are available but only as a zip. Like the videos the one available resolution isn’t really up to standards for 2015. The photos are 900x1350.
Since the site is new I took a risk in joining as there are no reviews here or at TBP. I had an idea of what I’d be buying but it’s fair to say that the tour page is deliberately misleading. There are 28 medium-sized thumbnails on the first page of the tour, which would, to any reasonable person, lead you to think that each of these is a scene in the site. But closer inspection reveals that each scene is represented in several thumbnails on the page. Further, at the bottom of the page there are links for are obviously intended to show the viewer that there are 120 of these pages. That might indicate that there are over 3000 scenes on this site. There are no links to show the models on the site, or to sort by update. In fact, clicking on anything on the tour page brings you to the join page. Whip out your credit card and get access to over 3000 scenes! Reality will bite you in the ass pretty quickly.
If you’ve read my review so far you won’t be surprised to learn that I’m not recommending this site. Whether you’re looking for black/white interracial porn or you like the stepfather / stepdaughter theme, you can do a lot better on other sites. The fact that the site isn’t updating is the final kicker, but even if it was I doubt that I’d recommend a membership since the porn is barely average and the scene resolutions belong in 2010. The only saving grace that this site has is that they offer a TBP discount and they bill through Epoch so cancelling will be easy. If those are the only good things I can say about a site it’s likely best avoided. |

I read the question a bit differently I think. There are user reviews of a lot of sites on PU that haven't been reviewed yet on TBP. I think that's just reality since TBP has a handful of reviewers to PU having potentially hundreds.
I always read any TBP review but I often give more weight to the PU reviews - depending on who wrote them, how much detail is available and if the reviewer backs up his or her points with evidence. The reason for this isn't a slight against the TBP reviewers, but for guys like you and me we join a site because we want what the site has to offer. You and me are more likely to spend a lot more time on the site and find hidden gems or faults. For example, I've hit download limits on sites where the TBP review says there were none. The reason for that is probably the TBP reviewer is downloading a handful of scenes so they can write a good review. I'm downloading tons of stuff because I think it is hot porn.
I think you're selling yourself short by not counting what you, me and the other PU regulars contribute as being valuable.
But then maybe I misread your comment... :-)

Resolution is definitely an issue but the newer stuff is quite good at 1920x1080. The problem with the newer stuff is that it's pretty repetitive.
Unless there is a strong compelling reason for you to join this one is likely best avoided.

This is a difficult network to write a detailed review on because it’s so large and covers a wide range of fetishes. In some ways that’s good, but in other ways it means that many members will find a lot of scenes that they have no interest in.
By no measure is this a small network. There are currently just under 4000 videos spread across 44 sites and those sites cover a broad range of fetishes and offer some subtle differences between the sites within a fetish. The number of sites and the fetishes available are:
• 17 BDSM / Bondage (sites with coercion, kidnapping, rope, devices, amateur, etc.)
• 2 teen (brainwashing, step-siblings)
• 3 spanking
• 6 femdom
• 2 footdom
• 5 smothering
• 3 smoking
• 1 Taboo (step-father – step-daughter)
• 3 legs and nylons
• 1 jerk-off instructions (Seriously? Maybe I’m unique, but I think I have that pretty much under control…)
• 1 girl-girl domme
The update schedule is erratic as sometimes there is a new video uploaded every day but sometimes it can be three or four days between an upload. It should also be noted that not all sites update so if you join for one specific you may not see regular updates at that favorite site for weeks as the updates are spread among all the active sites.
Mbaya did a review of one of the sites on this network (Brutal Castings – which you should read even if you have no interest in that specific site but are thinking of joining the network) and noted that this site was very repetitive. I agree with mbaya and can report that this is an issue with several of the s active sites. Brutal Castings is probably the worst for being repetitive, but it isn't alone.
While no one can argue that the network offers quantity, quality may be an issue for many. The first videos on the site were posted back in 2007 so no one is expecting 2015 standards for these, but they should be better than what they are. For even newer videos many of them are only available in lower resolutions.
A beef I’ve had with several sites recently is that they have a wide chasm between the two top resolutions available. To make matters worse here though, the stated resolutions are far off what is really offered. The newest videos boast an available resolution of 4320p (does that exist yet?) which are actually 1920x1080 with bitrates that vary from 3000-9000kb/s. The next resolution available on newer scenes is billed as 1080p but those only come in at 960x540 and 1500 kb/s. Apart from false promises, this is a wide chasm between resolutions and for someone like me who likes to split the difference between appearance and file size this makes for a tough choice.
Slightly older videos (2013) still say they’re “4320p” but come in at 1280x720. By 2012 the best offered in 800x450 at 1500kb/s. By 2009 and older the resolutions range from bad to worse. Unless you really have a thing for a specific fetish these older videos are generally very poor quality.
Two things worth noting are that you can only advance the page views by four at a time, so if you’re looking to go to page 50 of 94 you’ll be in for a lot of clicking and waiting. The good news though is that you can enter a page number on the URL and go directly to a page. A site shouldn’t make you have to find a work-around just to advance multiple pages though.
The other issue is a bit more of a problem. On every video I downloaded I faced this problem. It occurred throughout my membership and occurred regardless of the time of day or day of the week that I downloaded: the video download speeds varied from very fast to abysmal during EVERY download. I would see speeds as high as 25MB/s and they would drop to 14kb/s for times during the download. Overall, the time to download a scene was about average even with the speeds dropping off occasionally.
One point that may be of interest to some is that the network site called Taboo Sex Diary is done by the same crew that now has the Desperate Pleasures site. For me, who likes the incest theme, this is good news. But the bad news is that these are possibly the lowest quality videos on the site, even though they’re dated 2014. My guess is that they were shot a while ago and only uploaded in 2014. Even though the thumbnails are branded as “HD,” the best resolution available on this site is 480x270 at 700kb/s. I guess their definition of HD is different from mine.
As for a recommendation, I’m really on the fence here. Some of the scenes are good if you’re into the specific fetish but that’s all this site has going for it. There is a TBP discount but considering the full price is $40 and the discount price is $30 it’s still expensive. I realize that fetish material is more expensive to make, but other sites do it better for the same fees. The deal-breaker for me though is the low scene resolutions on many of the scenes. My advice is that unless there is a site, niche or scene you can’t live without you’re better off spending your porn dollars elsewhere. |

I agree with what you say about Wicked. I joined a couple of years ago and while the site was okay (but definitely flawed as you note) the porn itself wasn't all that hot. I thought that was mostly because I prefer harder-edged stuff but it may be that it really just isn't all that hot.

LOL! Great answer! And I agree with your assessment of that Aurora Snow scene. I still have many of her older scenes back when she first joined the business and they still fascinate me. Probably in my top three scenes is one she did with Gauge. I'm grateful my head doesn't explode from joy every time I watch it.

I joined here a while back and it was definitely the most expensive site membership I've ever had but I still think it is a good value. This is really good hard-edged porn with top European and Russian models in scenes with high production values. I'll definitely be rejoining at some point. And one commenter here figured out that the best deal is the three-month membership.
