There seems to be many phases of BDSM in porn. Mainstream BDSM can be entertaining, but is rarely convincing. Some sites then take the violence and degradation to every extreme possible. Restrained Elegance does an exceptional job of not only living up to their name, but exemplifying it.
The videos are good at pushing close to an extreme but not quite reaching extremes. The actresses are clearly into BDSM and not just because the site wants to try BDSM scenes. I do believe the BDSM actresses are just like any fetishist and they are highly capable of delivering a performance matching their passion and interest in BDSM.
With that said, Restrained Elegance is not like the typical porn site. There are updates and some of the updates are just older scenes they have archived. There is a full explanation on their site that explains it would not be cost-effective to them to store all the scenes to be downloaded and streamed. I am not technical-savvy enough to know how realistic that is, but the way the site updates does not bother me in a negative way.
I do believe some of the humiliation could be stronger than most porn fans are used to, but I believe fans are getting smarter and more understanding about fetishes. There is an audience and room for new audience members. It just could be off-putting for some. One thing I appreciate about Restrained Elegance is you will never see a model look like she hates what is happening or like she does not want it to happen. This is a fine line that I believe separates Restrained Elegance from other BDSM sites.
The pictures are a major part of the site. These picture sets can be downloaded and show everything from the beauty of the models to the bondage contraptions in still photography. There are stories being told in both the pictures and videos. It truly makes for a unique experience in the BDSM genre. The videos are HD quality when downloaded and are enjoyable if you are into BDSM.
The site itself is a bare-bones site. Depending on the user, that can be good or indifferent. The site does make me feel like they are more dependent on the quality of the content than bells and whistles. Though, bells and whistles may show up as bondage accessories.
I do consider myself a BDSM fan and join this site about once a year. If you really like the content, a more frequent subscription could be the choice for you since it will open up more of the archived sets to you. Did I miss on making the analogy of the name Restrained Elegance in comparison to the way they update with archived scenes, kind of restrained but the scenes are always elegant.
It is a very good site. The biggest complaint against it is you do not get all their scenes. |

Joining a single BDSM site can be frustrating and even leave the user feeling unfulfilled. Subby Hubby does have some of the lingering problems BDSM sites are known for, but there is plenty of good content. Humiliation of males or females does not interest me. I believe part of that is because we – the viewers – know these are porn actors and they are following a script. Which is why humiliation in porn does not work for me. I see it more as the producer or director trying to push buttons with the viewer. There is nothing wrong with pushing buttons sexually, but I am not sure humiliation is sexual or not.
I listed this site not being good for mainstream porn fans and believe that’s a fair assessment. The categories alone would push some people away. Bi Blowjob, Forced Bi and handjobs being performed by what are supposed to be straight men come to mind.
Cuckolding is my current favorite niche in porn and Subby Hubby does the niche well. These scenes do not try too hard to make you feel like you are really watching a husband watch his wife have sex with another man, but it is more of a visual for me. I enjoy seeing males aroused by watching what is supposed to be negative to them. On that note, I do not like seeing males crying and upset and looking abused while watching their alleged wife having sex with another man.
BDSM sites – in my opinion – have one big hurdle to get over with me. I do not want to feel like the scenes are trying to get out of the way of the niche. Most of the scenes on this site do a good job of at least, in imagination, feeling natural and not too scripted. For fans of JOI, Jerk Off Instruction scenes, there are over 30 on the site and those are good.
The site works well, too, which can be a problem with some of the BDSM sites. The categories are well laid out and easy to understand. You will likely only know the models if you frequent BDSM sites. The majority are attractive. There is a slight case of overacting, especially from the cucks, but it can be looked over. The forced crossdressing cannot, sadly, be looked over. Which is another possible problem for people trying to get into BDSM. Something like forced crossdressing, which I have never experienced in real life and have trouble believing it is common, is something you have to deal with on BDSM sites. I do believe the sites do attempt to cover all bases and that is understandable.
The site works as it should. The downloads are relatively quick considering I am off the mainland of the US. The videos are clear to watch and the pictures are a nice touch. It’s a good site overall, not quite an elite site, but you could do far worse in this niche. I would put it somewhere in my top 10 of BDSM sites. |

I very rarely join a site without included downloads. Fetish Pros captured my interest when I noticed the models are all females and some are from the more mainstream side of porn. I find the no-men approach to be both interesting and possibly new and exciting. One of the most common complaints with BDSM and fetish sites is the reliance on gender roles. I am reviewing another BDSM site that casts the males in a submissive light. The gender roles become almost as stale as just common sex.
There is good news and bad news. The good news is the scenes take on a more playful and fun tone than typical BDSM scenes. That can be important as fetish and BDSM can be intimidating for females. The void I believe this site fills is not as extreme as saying fits between hardcore and mainstream BDSM. The more hardcore sites can be off-putting even to the most interested. The mainstream BDSM sites can be so vanilla it causes the viewer to forget there is a kink or fetish being explored. This site hits you with the obvious kink being explored, but does not take it to any extreme.
It is a letdown that downloads are not available. I am just not sure if this site is a site downloads would help. These scenes are entertaining to watch, but because the scenes are not hardcore, strict on the fetish or accessible and boring, maybe it is better to just watch/stream the scenes and move on. While I listed no men as both a pro and con, I am more on the con side of it. I do get tired of gender roles being a focal point in BDSM porn, but I see two or even three women in bondage as being playful and exploratory with each other. It seems like every positive has a negative.
The streaming videos are good quality and the pictures are good quality to look at. The site is very basic in navigation and that makes me happy. I get lost with all the tags and search terms on most sites.
I do think it is a safe join for the interesting take on fetish porn. Having all women makes the fetishes less threatening and in some cases, the women do look to be having fun and enjoying themselves. Which is another part of BDSM porn I believe goes overlooked. You could be watching a hardcore BDSM scene and not notice either person enjoying it or having fun because they try so hard to sell the pain and dominance of the fetish. This site tiptoes around that and just delivers a fairly good example of different kinks and fetishes while giving the viewer plenty of pretty nude women to look at. |
