What Could Turn You Off to Your Favorite Model? We all have our favorite models here at PU (just come clean and admit it) but is there something that your favorite model or models could do to themselves or to their 'act' that would permanently turn you off to them? What brought this to my mind was I recently watched a YouTube video of Julia Bond being interviewed on the Tyra Banks Show from a few years back. I'm not a fan of Julia Bond but she seemed like a nice woman with a good defense of being a teenage porn pro and was pretty hot to boot, but I then clicked on a link to a more recent video of her...I was not very happy. Unless there are two Julia Bonds running around Southern California she had transformed herself dramatically over the years--absolutely covered in tattoos and dyed hair with blond streaks and a noticeably different attitude. What gives, I thought? A few years and a sweet young star can transmogrify herself into some kind of gangster girl wannabe queen bee. I know I'm being incredibly judgmental here (my personal talent) but I wonder what a longtime fan of hers would feel like after she had changed that much--I know I would be upset. Normally it's the ruinous trifecta of husband, kids, and church that turn me off to once naughty favorites but what would make other PU'ers cast off their favorite models? The whole anorexic thing drives me bananas - Jana Jordan has periods where she's not attractive to me at all, due to being too thin. Amy Reid is painful to see in recent pics - one of the juiciest babes in porn getting way too skinny. Teagan Presley hung around way too much with the skeleton Jesse Jane and tried to emulate her for a period, unfortunately, lost everything that was attractive about her. I was looking at some previews of Hailey Young on Nude in LA the other day and she looked really skinny, especially in the thighs where most people have at least some meat. The skin-and-bones look is just not that attractive to me but I still believe that underweight women are in the minority here--most women are probably around or significantly over their ideal weights. I agree with both sentiments. Enhancements tend to make me lose interest pretty quickly. I was watching some of Teagan Presley's older stuff yesterday and seeing her so fresh, innocent and natural made me cringe to see what she's become. As for freckles, I'm with you on this one 100%. Faye is a big favorite of mine. Allison Whyte is another freckly favorite. Frekled models are too rare. | |

To me, it's not really one particular thing, but it's the overall effect of changing for the worse. Take, as a counterexample, Sandy (Zsanett Egerhazi). She's 33 years old, but still looks good. She had her breasts enhanced, but they don't look bad to me. And her ass just continues to amaze! Then there are the ones that are moderate disappointments: Klara/Zoe, with her balloons but still a nice body; Klaudia/Cindy/Hope, who has fake tits that I don't like but still has a marvelous face and very nice ass. And LEGS! I still sit up a little straighter in my computer chair when I come across material of those two. Then there are the ones that really have turned for the worse. Holly Sampson, who has one of the most beautiful faces I've even seen, has gone too far with the breast enhancements. Same with Sandra Kalermen; just look at the large pic of her from the link. That's WITHOUT the breast enhancements. She had wonderful natural breasts! What the hell was she thinking? Tattoos are another annoyance, need I say. But Nikki Nova's full-back color art hasn't kept me from checking her out. When Aneta Smrhova had that tat added to her side, I chafed, but I did not diss. I can't think right now of any of the ones I've given up on because of tattooing. I know there must be some. Anyway, ink belongs on paper, not on human skin. Ink is not skin. That's my two bits. And thank goodness for the girls that haven't wrecked their looks with enhancements! Here's a list: Bambi, Eve Angel, Marina/Euphrat, Peaches, Pure Angel, Suzy Black, Britney/Brigitte Hunter, Teresa Ilova, and most of the girls you'll find at sites like MPL Studios, FemJoy, MetArt, and Hegre-Art. I suspect that all the things that annoy me about any pornstar are the same thing that will turn me off. Implants, Tattoos, plastic surgery and the bone thin look. Yes, Turbo that is indeed Julia Bond. She is almost unrecognizable now. The implants were bad but all the tattoos has made me lose interest to the point that I don't even bother looking at anything she appears in. Teagan is another good example of a performer that I can't watch anymore. The implants weren't too bad but she started playing with different sizes and shape. I'm not sure which one she is at because that sleave tattoo is too distracting. I agree with everyone's assessment of the amazing cuteness of Faye reagan. Correction (it's too late to edit my original post): The interview of Julia Bond was from "The Jerry Springer Show"--classy!--and she currently has her own YouTube channel (/IAmJuliaBond if you're curious) called Julia Bond Daily Dairy where her attitude and tattoos are on full display. The Tyra Banks Show clip I saw was from now superstar Sasha Grey a few years back where she defended getting into porn at age 18. I think the sad side of the industry is many get torn, up old and tired. I mean that could be said with any job, but here every inch of the body needs to be consistent most of the time. A few fake parts , a few wrinkles and for most its time for something new. The fake breast seem to come along when they get popular, but it's then a quick spiral to obscurity. Lets be honest here we watch the pretty actress in the movies cause they are cute and healthy. Once a adult star gets tired looking or loses half their body weight its over. Old stars should turn to producing, not keep filming, as it gets old quick and so do they. I know that seem harsh, but thats the way it is. I agree with cybertaod that the industry is really hard on pornstars. This is not an easy career and it ages people much faster than other professions. The drugs and alcohol also accelerate that process to the point where a 25yrs old woman looks to be 35. I don't know if it's the industry that puts pressure on the girls to get work done to their body and face or their own insecurities and lack of self-esteem. I'm unwilling to take the blame if a 20yrs old gets breast implants because there is no way that anyone told her that her breast were looking old and tired. I think that Teri is in great part responsible for everything that has happened to her. She could have had an amazing career in porn if she had chosen a certain path. I think her choice was drugs and alcohol and that's never a good road to choose. Even with all the isussues surounding her. I don't like breast augmentation, but the most common turn off for me is tattoos. I don't mind the discrete ones so much (small dolphin on the ankle sort of thing), but I really don't like those celtic style designs on the lower back or neck which stretch more than 2/3rds of the way across the body. Big tattoos just remind me of soldiers, dock workers and old factory workers, none of which are in any way mood enhancing. To me they are simply not feminine. I hate tattoos so much it's a factor in whether or not I choose to buy a site membership. I'm a regular member of Femjoy for that reason. I know for a fact they'll almost always edit out the ink because I've seen some Femjoy models on other sites and saw the dreaded ink. | |

As far as I know good quality foundation can cover up most tattoos. I don't know what the limitations are on that, but it's MUCH easier than trying to paint them out on the resultant photos. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity. | |

I agree with a lot of the body augmentation reason already mentioned. One action that I don't think has been mentioned yet is when a favorite porn star tries to go mainstream (but usually only ends up on her own dead end individual model site). I'm in the camp of glad to see the return of pubic hair but I can appreciate that some don't like it. I don't understand why you have an issue with a nude model going the hardcore route unless you don't like hardcore. I understand why it can be shocking when one day you see this cute girl doing semi-nude photoshoots and the next she's taking dicks in every orifice in her body. Most girls usually start slowly in the biz and it's not necessarily because they want to get more money for some of the more intense types of sex or fetishes but because they are barely out of their teens and doing some hardcore scene does not come naturally.
