Wow, I don't know where to start. It feels like forever since we first wanted just a simple user comment form at TBP (The Best Porn) like most other review sites. What you may have learned by now is that we can never keep an idea simple! As we started developing our simple user rating/comment input, naturally more ideas were drawn up and the project kept getting bigger, more complex, and eventually too big for it's own good. Eventually, the best choice was to build it's own site/brand and go big from the beginning. It's one year later and I'm proud to report that's exactly what we've done! To get you started, I've put together a basic guide. I pretty much copied some of our important FAQ's and listed them for you below. :) 1. How do a I find a specific site? I imagine most of you have (or had) adult memberships already. Those sites would be the best place to start inputting feedback to. To look-up a specific site we recommend using the EASY SITE SEARCH, which is available from our homepage and most browse pages. The search scans through our entire site database. Click the site title in the results and you'll get to the site page where you can post a new review or comment. An alternative is to browse all our listings from the Browse Sites page (with minimum reviews = 0). That will display all the sites and sort them by the user score and/or TBP review score. From that page you can also break down the sites by niche or site type. 2. Do I have to register to submit feedback? Unregistered users (guests) are permitted to submit reviews and comments, but there are restrictions you should know. Guest feedback is not live on our site until our staff officially approves it (which can take up to 24 hours). Guest review scores are weighted much less than registered user reviews. Guests cannot edit their submitted feedback after it's submitted. Guests cannot posts replies to users who might comment to their feedback. As you can see, registering has its benefits and is HIGHLY recommended. Even if you're shy to post, you can still use our bookmark system to save your favorite sites, reviews, and users (and store private notes about each. 3. Can I rate a site without a review? Absolutely. Registered users only. On each site page, there is a link to add a Quick Rating (along with Add Review or Comment) near the User Reviews title bar. Click that link to add a rating-only. You can rate each site once, and upgrade that rating to a review at anytime. Keep in mind that ratings are weighted much less than a full review toward the site's overall score. 4. Will site owners see my feedback? You bet! Site owners and/or webmasters have access at launch day (January 10th) and we're hoping will gradually become very involved in our site. Each will have the option of creating a profile type of their own. They'll be able to reply to your reviews/comments and post what we call Site News of their own to keep their consumers and potential buyers up to date. A big part of our goal is to bring users and webmasters together. It's never really been attempted at this magnitude and we're hoping it'll open new doors of communication. I look forward to reading all the site feedback! We know most will be lurking the site more than posting, but please do register (you can always disable it later if you don't use it). It's VERY easy, you won't be spammed, info won't be sold/traded (check our Privacy Policy if you need to), and you'll have more site functionality.
