For years, I struggled using the old Wicked Pictures site but the content was good enough to keep trying. Nowadays, with Gamma running the site, the past problems seem to be nearly neutralized and a thing of the past. I also like that Wicked hasn't ever changed much. They are who they are and do what they do. What they do is produce very high quality, story-driven porn, also veering into the land of parodies. They are great at it and aren't trying to reinvent the wheel. Words that sound out of place in a porn review come to mind – consistent being the most important one. You could spend days, even months, just browsing through the various DVDs they offer and once you're accustomed to their offering – you will eventually stumble upon their newer exclusive series’. Those exclusives are game changers for me. Not only is Wicked the only site where you can get those series, but they also use top talent and production values. I am a lover of amateur porn, which Wicked Pictures is not, but the further I look into Wicked, I can see why and how their site is at the top of my list. It turns into the thought of if I'm going to buy and collect professional porn this is how I want it to look and work. The newer series include Sensual Relief and Clout. Both are well thought out series and stories. Both have top notch casting and production. And both offer the very best of professional porn. The cons are minor. I occasionally run into a scene I am streaming that seems to either not load or gets stuck and won't continue streaming. I use the streaming to decide whether I want to download the scene so it's hardly a problem. I believe the other con could go either way depending on the person viewing the scene. The best examples are the parody scenes which somewhat unexpectedly are not always humorous. I don't know if the average viewer would prefer humor in those scenes or not. The site does everything right for me. I enjoy the parodies, the more serious scenes, the plots and stories. These scenes are becoming a rarity these days. There really is an ongoing story or theme in the scenes from each DVD. I do believe it's why I love Wicked Pictures despite preferring amateur porn. I joined this site on August 28 through the site. The biller was Epoch. I didn't receive an email confirmation but the correct charge appeared on my credit card statement. Today (September 22) I went to the Epoch site to cancel my membership but the site had no record of it. I used Epoch's chat function and the staff member there couldn't find it either. I was on with the support staff for about 15 mins before they could locate the charge and cancel the rebill. I asked, but they had no explanation for why I couldn't locate the membership on their site and why it took so long for their own staff to locate it. I did appreciate the Epoch staff patience because they certainly said and had reason to believe that I had made an error and the charge was actually with another biller. I have no idea if this is a warning to others or just an unusual circumstance. Others may want to weigh in on their experiences. Prospective members should be aware that there was a problem cancelling. It has a good price so I will probably join it anyway, but they really could benefit from a better tour. My main thing when considering joining a site I've never joined is to be able to see the models they have. Wicked Pictures tour shows maybe 12-16 models and tells how much content they have of those models, but when you click the model list to see the other models, it takes you to a join page instead of the model list. I don't know if this is something they are maybe working on, but being able to see a full list of the models would have made me join already. Plus all their other sites have full tours, so I don't really understand why Wicked Pictures doesn't. One model in particular has become a "reason to join" but she may not be on here, Jynx Maze. It states they will add photos, forum, behind the scenes stuff, and search in 2011 (like April or December?). I am sort of curious why they bothered to launch the beta before adding some of these items, particularly search/photos/ratings/model thumbnails. Luckily one can still access the old site which still appears to have most of the above. Also, a couple of the movies I have downloaded have the most ridiculous watermark I have ever scene - a solid Wicked smack in the middle of the video. Their old site was by no means impressive, but it does have some nice categorization, a search feature, and most of the models in the index had a photo attached to them (many don't on the new site). That said, I still generally like their material (aside from the excessive fake breasts) and the discount price is certainly excellent ($15). Hopefully they will finish the job with the new site shortly. Two weeks ago they had me raving about the huge new pics in their new galleries. Then I logged in yesterday to see that they were promoting their new Members Area, which has NO Galleries - No Pics - None! That's easily half the material on the current site and - for a pic fan - a big reason for the appeal of the site. I would be thinking - "oh, they just need a day or 2 to add the galleries" except that nowhere on the newest site promo does it even mention pics or galleries - it's all about how many vid scenes they have. Oh, and on the old site, which we still have access to temporarily, the newest galleries are not the new huge size pics, they're back closer to what they used to be.
