Twistys is a site that has be up a LOT here at PU - and Twistys has webmaster/webmasters that is very much aware of how alert PUs are - and give regular reply here - AND TBP has "Our Price" (specielt for TBP/PU) - all great so far. So why - when joining from TBP - does Twistys STILL have one or more annoying pre-checked cross sales? And even TBP still warns against it.... Wouldn't it be better for all parts to just drop it when joining from TBP? The pre-checked - that is... Everything works, updates tab works, join tab works, but when I click the members tab it pauses then says, "Cannot display page". I've also tried with IE with no luck. I don't want to bash one of my favorite sites, but I have limited downloading time, usually from 7 PM PST to 3 AM PST, but haven't been able to download anything for the last two nights. To top it off, my membership runs out either on Tuesday or Wednesday. It is one of those complimentary complaints. I really like Meggan Malone and she has a new set showing in today's updates. Twisty's has historically been quite dependable as far as keeping their site up and updating regularly and making sure access problems don't happen - up to now. This week, they are pissing me the fuck off. On the 14th, I suddenly had no access - checked to make sure my membership hadn't expired - I wasn't anywhere near the end of my current membership period. I e-mailed, got a response - "hey, there's no problem - here's your username & password" - still no access - I let them know, didn't hear anything back. The next day I had access again - cool Then on the 18th I got a response to my second e-mail from 4 days earlier saying "Oh, yeah - we had a problem here - we fixed it and here's your new username & password". Guess what? I had no access to Twisty's but the new username & password worked at Nicole Graves. Now I'm back into the "there's no problem. Your username & password work fine for us" phase of things. Aaarrgh! What the fuck good does it do me if they have access but I don't? I don't give a shit if they have access if I don't have access! And to have had the problem get fixed until they monkeyed with it again really pisses me off! So now I'm telling them "Fix it or refund me - but do one or the other now, cause I'm sick of this crap."
