Already did join. There was year ago discount for HardX at 35 € total charge/year and MyXXXPass for same 35 € total charge/year. HardX is now about to run out, MyXXXPass just expired.
I would say it was worth it.

I bought an annual membership to MetArt at a great price, but after several months I got bored with it and did not renew it.
I also had annual gigs with Twistys back in the good old days before they sold out. That was fine at the time.

I buy monthly subscriptions to different sites on a rotating basis. But I will buy an annual subscription if the discount is big enough (i.e. $79-99/year) and I like the site enough to sign up for 3 or more months a year. So right now I have annual subscriptions to 3 sites.
Some sites hardly discount annual subscriptions at all. $200+ for an annual subscription? What are they thinking?
Lately, I've seen a lot of $70 "lifetime" network deals that are only in effect for as long as you maintain a subscription to the original site you signed up to in the network. "Keep paying $29 a month and we'll let you have these other sites for only $70"... That's not a deal at all and is actually a tremendous ripoff.

It really would be a combination of several factors, but price is probably the most significant.
On a related note, I'd be much more likely to stay a member on a discounted recurring monthly fee than join for an entire year upfront. It baffles me why many sites don't offer a 'loyalty' discount. take, for example, one of my favourite sites, Amateur Allure. I joined that for a month several years ago and downloaded just about everything. Now I rejoin every four months or so to get the new stuff. I'd stay if they offered a recurring fee less than the full monthly subscription. They upload one new scene per week so that means that if I stay a member each new scene costs me nearly $10. I just wait and rejoin when the cost per scene is lower.
