1366 x 768 is the best my laptop offers. I know I've seen higher (better) resolutions from other PU members for their laptops, but my laptop does not offer that.

I'd like 1280x960 for good definition and fit for my screen. I don't like it when there's a band of dark atop and below the playing area.

Hi res is great, but there has to be something to give.
By that I mean the models. There are models who have hard bodies and figures of a goddess, but in real porn there is a huge cross section of models, from goddess to average.
Natural markings (stretch marks etc) make little difference to anyone in standard def, but give high def with a poor camera operator and you will rapidly find yourself staring at things that you really don't need to see.

Depends on who is in the scene. If it's my fav girl, then for sure always 1080p. Otherwise, 720p is good enough.

I never really bothered with high definition. I use photos when I want clear images. Videos are for quick action, and that can be a bit blurry IMO

1080p of course but only if the quality equals or approaches to Blu-ray quality. To this day, I haven't found any site that offers downloadable 1080p Blu-ray quality movies. But that's understandable since a 1.5 hour Blu-ray quality movie could take 25 to 50 GB hard disk space.

Very true, most sites have ~3mbit/s 720P and ~5mbit/s 1080P videos. At those resolutions the bitrate needs to be at the very least 5mbit/s for 720P and 12 mbit/s for 1080P otherwise there is no point in having such a high res and can actually be worse than lower res / higher bitrate videos. What is even more annoying is when sites provide videos in 720P which are obviously upscaled from DVD which is a complete waste of disk space / bandwidth.

i prefer high quality vga (640x480)
when made full screen its not too bad looking, plus it doesnt take up a lot of hard drive space
720p would be my next choice tho for special vids
