Nicely written james, but watch out webmaster TopBucksGina will be on here and claim your problems are fictional and don't happen to anyone else!
What I seemed to find is that if one of the larger particular network sites had say 20-30 pages, the first 7 pages or so would be downloadable, then the rest are just streaming, but are getting re-added again at the start for new updates.
The speed was my main issue, I'm not sure if their server speed mods slow you down for tying to download a few files at once and/or downloading a certain amount in a given timescale. Or maybe as you say, you were just lucky in that regard.
Yeah, you are right, I have also seen their steaming scene feeds elsewhere, so you could essentially download them elsewhere with a streaming video file grabber.
Its one of those sites where it is pretty much a hassle to download content from.

Just to add, since I couldn't edit the last post.
Did you notice on the thumbs, some have 'downloadable in HD' and some just have 'downloadable' and some have nothing. I found there was quite a few that only said 'downloadable' on the thumb, which still had the Broadband, T1 and HD inside that scenes download scroll menu.

Thanks for the replies. I like how you preemptively called out TopBucksGina in your comment. Pointing out that libapache choke mod 0.6 was some real evidence. Like I said, I didn't have too many download problems, but I only set it for one download at a time in my download manager for this site. Partly because they don't allow resuming downloads.
Also everybody should know that scenes come from their DVDs many of which are available at videobox and videosz among others. Both of them have over 150 DVD's from pink visual in addtion to a library of thousands, all fully downloadable. That's a better deal.
Oh yeah. One thing I missed for the longest time was the higher video qualities. I would be set on broadband and I assumed that meant the speed i would get, but that's like the 3 best quality I guess. Who has a T1? Screwed up site.

I agree, the better option is to join videobox and/or videosz who have tons of content and download pink visual dvd's from there with ease instead. Both of them probably cost less than joining the pink visual network anyway.
