Many Moons ago I went to a porno theater. It was clean but not my thing so I left.
I do remember when they played porno movies at the regular theaters at some time as well.

I never had the opportunity. I grew up in a deeply conservative place and any porn would be run out of town quickly. And now with the availability of internet porn I have no need to go to a theater.

I did once when I was in Amsterdam around 1986. There were never any dedicated porn movie theatres anywhere near where I lived although I did see the occasional soft porn flick in the mainstream cinema like the old Emmanuelle films.

They still have porn movie theaters? I had no idea. But yeah, in the 70's and 80's, when Pussycat Theaters were all over the place, I went many times.
These days, when it's so easy to access any porn one could want to see, pretty much, you'd have to have a particular fetish like "I love the smell of stale cum" to want to go to a porn theater.
On the other hand, gay porn theaters were well-known as cruising spots back in the 70's and 80's with lots of sexual activity known to be taking place in the restroom, so they have a whole other reason for being - though I really have no idea if they exist these days.

I grew up in south Florida where they had every type of porn/sex/strip outlet and I had sampled most of them by the time I left for college. I tried a theater once but it was pretty boring considering how lax the rules were back then at some of the strip clubs.
