My biggest pet peeve with this site is the total inconsistency of video quality. After having downloaded 60+GB of video, the bitrate varies between 1000kbps and 3500kbps.
In other words, for a 20 minute clip, I've had download sizes of 250MB to 900MB. Simply put, the quality of some of these videos is shameful. On the other hand, other videos are excellent.
Then there is a problem with resolution. Many DVDs are 720x480, which is great, but this resolution is NOT 4:3, so people always appear "stretched".
I wouldn't praise this site as well as others; yes it has good selection, and yes alot of the videos are excellent quality.
Personally if it wasn't for the price, I'd be disappointed.
And then there is the lack of some truly amazing actresses. Amy Reid, Krystal Steel... that really sucks.
Tip: BE SELECTIVE, especially if you're joining for a short time. There is ALOT of crap, and some good stuff. Be sure to download the good stuff first. You have a "Favorites" list that's useful to queue up downloads. USE IT. |

- Offers DVD quality at a $5 per mo. premium
- Permits selective downloads via 30 second segments that can be automatically connected.
- Has a member review section for each video and for each scene
- The vast majority of the scenes have a cast list that is interactive so a member can generate a list of all offerings with a particular porn star. |

- No pics at all
- With over 800 vids per year and the limitations on acquiring licences, a few of the vids are rather poor
- Occasional mis-identification of the talent |
| Bottom Line: |
This site exceeds all possible comparisons to other sites and is a bargain. The occasional obscure wierd vids (midgets, hirsute Japanese, trannie) pop up once in a while but so what? The member review section is new and the members haven't figured out what a "review" is because most postings are more like a chat room than an evaluative discussion of the scene or the video.
Great site, great deal. Go for it!

+Technology is awesome - you can pick exacty how much of each scene to download, in a variety of bandwidths
+Very easy to search for movies, stars, genres, etc; easy to check recent updates
+Updated every day with a few new movies; cumulatively a huge amount of content
+Movies are very good, if not the absolutely newest, and come in a wide variety of studios, genres, etc |

-In a perfect world, they would update with the newest movies, rather than those a few months to 1-2 year old
-Some updates are of movies that are a bit older, with stars who are a few years out of date |

Videobox has the perfect design for a movie site - easy searching and their unique ability to pick exactly what you want in each scene. I don't understand why other sites don't mimic this. It's definitely worth checking out for their huge content library. After a while though you might feel that not all the updates are of the highest quality, so you might want to check back periodically for the hidden gems among a certain amount of chaff. |

What can you say about this site, it is nearly perfect. Take all the sites you have ever gone to before and there you go you have Videobox. The movies are fantastic and high quality. To top it off you can even carve up each scene into mini scenes that capture the specific action you like. No more fast forwarding to the good parts just download the good parts.
Updates happen daily however I noticed only a few categories getting updated. Me being a breast fan I was a little disappointed that the "big boobs" section only got a few scenes a week. However the 30+ pages of scenes made me forget about any updates.
The only real negative thing I have to say about this site is that it doesn't work well with a download manager. I like to download the content for later viewing and I found it frustrating that the failure rate was around 35%. So out of the 300 or so movies I downloaded many failed. The good news is if you do not use a download manager and just do it the good old fashion way, one or two at a time it is flawless.
I highly recommend this site to everyone and anyone. It has content that will satisfy the most picky of pallets. |

They have 5 DVDs every day.
The price is reasonable, $14.95 a month for new users.
The videos usually don't take long to download if you have a high speed connection. |

If you don't like a mixture of videos that they have you may not like the site. I think they could put their transexual vidoes on video gay box I believe. |
| Bottom Line: |
I have been with them over a year now and they improved their site quite a bit since I have had it. I think it is an excellent value for what you are getting and I think it is well worth it for the price that they charge. |

They have tons of DVDs to choose form and form several different studios and several styles. Amatuer or professional releases, they have it all, thousands of DVDs and they update daily.
Also they allow you to only download parts of a scene saving you time and hard drive space, plus you get only what you want. |

DVD archive sites should at this site when making theirs because they know how to cater to the user, and give people their money's worth. |

One of the best sites if you want to download dvd movies. Price is good considering the amount of movies avaiable. Great job of telling you who is in each scene. Easy to find similar movies of the type you are viewing, easy to find movies by that studio and star(s). |

If you have a taste for most anything but hardcore porn then this site is not for you. However, if porn all day long, all day strong is your cup of tea then I would strongly advise you to jump on the bandwagon.
You would be very hard pressed to find this much porn at any one site for this price. Videobox does a great job at making an offer you can't refuse. And an even better job at making it hard to leave. |

Great browsing and search features.
Very flexible in allowing you to edit the video-files through a template, so you don't have to download extra minutes of 'Character-Building' and 'Plot' BS.

At 5 disks per day, they can't help but have a lot of filler. 4 out of 5 movies are horrible, bizarre fetishes for humpbacked, bearded women or midgets on meth, or fatties or grannies or foot-worshippers or Asian-trannies or people who shove blunt objects where God didn't intend em to go, or some other weird, twisted thing. But that still leaves 5 or 6 movies a week or maybe 400 of what's already up..are excellent. And that's a freakin' shitload of good porn! |

Worth it at twice the price.
At least for a month.
Then you should drop it and skip a few months, to let them build up the collection so you can really get your money's worth. |
