I have been away from reviewing for a long time, but part of that was – I felt like I was oversaturating my sexual interests in porn. Porn for me should be exciting and even educational, even if it only teaches me to think differently than how I was taught. The JOI niche is one I had taken notice of before my self-imposed exile from porn sites.
JOI stands for Jerk Off Instructors or Instruction. The niche seems innocent enough, but there’s more to it than the obvious. JOI Babes features mostly young (18-24 year old) models who are showing one of the more basic forms of JOI. The bonus is the site is in the Honey Trans network. HoneyTrans network comes with 12 more sites. One of those is JOI Babes. The value of this network is very high.
JOI Babes presents young women, alone on camera, playing with dildos and talking dirty to the camera. These models seem to be told to act like they’re teasing their real-life boyfriend. You get realistic teasing and phrases like, “Can you feel it getting harder in your hand?” Most of these models are not what I would call anything more than novice JOInstructors.
Even so, these models show the potential of this niche. I also believe having a JOI for women to watch would be highly profitable. It’s the reality of being a porn watcher. At some point, your main goal as a porn watcher is successful masturbation. The ways the models can use (exploit) the viewer is by adding new wrinkles. Some models do a countdown and command the viewer to orgasm when they reach 0. Others even orgasm themselves as they talk about the viewer reaching orgasm. This is, in my opinion, as real as porn can be. That’s why the female model is such an important part of the equation. If she’s just there to get an easy paycheck, it will show more than any other niche shows.
That is my way of saying this is a niche that would be very easy to fake. Unless you’re the viewer. The loud, obnoxious moaning and pleas for “lots of cum” no longer fit. This niche is more intimate and should be treated as such. I am willing to accept that there is a good chance, the producers and directors who first started JOI, undoubtedly did so, just thinking about how hot it would be to have a sexy, young woman talking dirty. JOI Babes at least does make me think there is some understanding of the niche and its power.
I realized how much I like this niche when I was watching a scene around a year ago and the model touching a dildo, while talking dirty, turned me on – and I’m a woman. Maybe I am just thinking too much?
The videos are downloadable in 4K resolution and those downloads are unlimited. There is an accompanying photo set with each video and those are good, but without the model talking, the pictures show their own limitations.
This is a very easy site to recommend and only made easier by the diverse network it comes with. |

My interest in the JOI niche continues with Make You Jerk Off. Let’s get the obvious joke out of the way. A lot of these scenes are less than 10 minutes. That’s assuming guys watching the scene will finish in under 10 minutes. I do think that would make for an interesting sub-niche. Have the models post times of which of their viewers finished fastest. Eventually, that could become a video proving how fast the woman makes the guy get off.
The biggest problem with the site is it’s no longer updating. It is, however, one of the bigger collections of JOI scenes, even without new updates. My favorite part about this niche is the niche doesn’t change, but nearly every scene is different. Some of the women like to be more dominant and even demanding. A few are insulting. Some are even into making jokes. The shyer women giggle and act like they just thought about a guy masturbating for the first time.
There are the models who make for good porn, too. These models not only get into teasing the camera, but even start masturbating themselves and often, very explicitly.
Make Me Jerk Off is one of the better JOI sites. I could rehash the joke and say it’s why the scenes are short. There are several theories about why this has become my favorite niche of porn. I think the top reason is, the scenes are all at least a little different. It gives the scenes a more unscripted feeling. There are any videos on this particular site that make you think the female loses control and just gives in to her desires. That’s something I think porn needs to focus on more. Showing the actor/actress being so turned on that they have to join the viewer in masturbating. That is more interactive than VR is to me.
You also don’t have to worry about the story or plot of the scenes. There’s not one. It’s a nude or semi-nude woman teasing the viewer. She will either sink or swim based on her energy and efforts. I do believe this niche has a lot of untapped potential.
The videos are downloadable with no limits and just like every other JOI site I join, I have downloaded every scene. The model selection is a little better, in my opinion, on this site than most JOI sites. There are more amateur looking and acting models. It seems like to me the best female at this niche wouldn't be a porn star. There’s much more to this niche than just physical attraction and this site shows that well.
Some will also notice a major potential con – all you get with a membership is this site. Most JOI sites are included in networks. |
