Thinking also about JD's idea: If just one person had to run the site, I could see that as being kind of stressful. All of those comments coming in and having to answer them (he answered one of mine). And who's going to turn the new photos and raw video of the lovelies into glossy eye candy for us lecherous old salts? Eh?
Maybe this ship's been left on autopilot, snagged on a reef, busted by the Coast Guard for bringing along that contraband.

E-Gold has physical gold. When you own E-Gold, you virtually own some of their gold. However, they will not send you that gold, but it is yours. Since gold is real money, theoretically it can be spent anywhere, however, Ebay will ban you if you use it. The brokers available, if you can find them, and are comfortable with giving them your banking information, will buy it for cash, but at a price. E-Gold is also under indictment from the US Dept of Justice on allegations of money laundering, particulary for child porn sites. E-Gold denies the charges.

Photosets quality is pretty good, photos are very sharp and their sizes are pretty large, but surely videos quality needs improvement.
I personally think that videos don't look so sharp and generally are too short. On some videos I though that some parts are missing because I was downloading for example part one and part two of a hardcore or a solo video and by its ending I was supposing that a part of that video is missing.

The preview here is lousy!
You have no idea of the content and updates, especially the amount of photosets and videos - not even what quality of the videos og photos.
I'd suggest that Carsed Marketing Inc. (also Twistys) make an efford to do it better.
PUs may consinder that before joining in the future...

Some of the stuff looks "Eve Angelish," but that doesn't mean it's the same.
I see they've come up with a clever way around the pop-up blocker. You click "close" (or cntrl-w) and you get a box with two choices, "OK" or "Cancel." Either way, you get the pop-up, which is for other porn.

Right. There are plenty of homegrown websites of amateurs doing their thing for extra moolah and/or an exhibitionist thrill.
And yes, there's real amateur and then there's a grayish amateur area. Viv Thomas has an amateur section, for instance, which fits your description.
Then there's plenty of "faux" amateur, such as a professionally shot Georgia Jones in recent "Amateur" sections of ATK Galleria. She's also been at ALS Scan, FTV, KarupsHA, Matts, Nubiles, Penthouse, Suze, and Twistys. Is she really an amateur now?
KarupsHA is a good example of an amateur/"amateur" paysite. Erica Ellyson and Sandy Summers sure don't seem to qualify as amateurs, but they've shown up recently there along with many lesser known girls.
As DivBZero pointed out, it's also a style of photography (real or faux "bad" photography, usually, IMHO) and of depiction (real or faux "bad" just woke up, hair's kind of a mess and didn't put on any makeup yet).

Agree with your comments - I too experience your fustration with 'BrainPass'
Although I have been a member for the best part of a year, I perhaps spend a couple of hours a month using BrainPass. It does get boring and there is nothing 'special' in the 47 or so sites included with subscription.
Most of the sites no longer update which is the biggest shame as well as the price!

I agree with you about the outdoor shoots, I don't like those as much. Especially all those photo shoots done in water! But with all the material, and constant quality updates, it doesn't matter much.

No doubt about the value - multiple photo-sets every single day mean that there's always something exciting that I haven't seen before - their archives are deep, deep, deep.
Add the vids (which I'm mainly NOT a fan of) and the cam shows, which sometimes have smoking hot models, and you've got one helluva site.
I honestly can't think of another site that gives their members more high quality material on a regular basis.

Hey, that's great! I got turned on to Zappa way back when I was about 14 (Hot Rats, Burnt Weenie Sandwich, Grand Wazoo, Overnite Sensation, etc.).
There's one on there that I recommend to all Porn Users. Just search for "Zappa Penis Dimension." It's a 1971 live performance shortly before 200 Motels, which has it with orchestra, was released. It's a bit slow to start (bit of interview with Zappa and then the band get ready), but once it gets going, it just gets funnier and funnier! Back in the days with Kaylan and Volman as lead singers.

On the added New Sites - I've actually see TBP go through pulses like that before - I'm guessing that the rate that new sites are added to their database is hardly random. Probably something brought it to their attention that they missed a bunch of this or that style of site. On the other hand, Humans are expert pattern recognizers so any apparent pattern will show up very fast - sometimes even if it isn't there (that's why it can be easy to see faces in tree bark or shapes in clouds).

While I don't actually browse for gay porn - I think the categorization of Gay Porn is already too segregated. If you look at nearly any Heterosexual or Lesbian (just to point out that by "Gay Porn" I mean Male/Male) that is listed on "The Best Porn" it has a main category and then two secondary categories. The gay sites have no secondary listings and are all stuck in the main "Gay Porn" category. Therefore if you are browsing any Niche other than "Gay Porn" you will never run across a Gay site - which is silliness in my opinion. Each site should get two secondary categories too.
With a quick glance at The Best Porn's "Gay Porn" category - I saw that some of the sites were standard DVD sites, others were solo models, and so on. Lumping them all together is a disservice to any users hunting for Gay Porn - I mean they have to sort through 1300 sites! When they might be looking for glamour photography or whatever. I think we can all read just fine and any experienced porn user will be able to recognize a gay porn site from a mile away, so there is no need to shove them off in some little corner by themselves.
So I guess I'm voting for the exact opposite, lol - Gay Porn is just as mainstream as Lesbian or Heterosexual porn, we should start treating it as such. An interesting coffee table book I have is "XXX: 30 Porn-Star Portraits" by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders and Gore Vidal. It features photos of 30 of the most influential porn-stars (according to the authors) photographed both clothed and nude, and many interviewed - quite a few of the stars are male gay porn stars - I'm just saying that Gay Porn is too large and too diverse to be ignored as a small fetish niche these days. If people want a color coding scheme, I guess that would be fine - or even make it an account setting - you can tell the site if you want to exclude certain niches (maybe you don't want to see BBW sites either, who knows? it would be your choice). So offer the users everything, and let them decided to look at what they want to.
