Thanks for the info Denner. I was slightly favouring PC as it looked like it had a little more hardcore than HA. I also slightly favour European to American women, so that definitely tips the balance.

Have you tried to join lately? I joined Videobox last week, and the only option was in euros, €14.95 through TBP's link. At the current rate it is about €4.45 more per month than the dollar price. I certainly don't like paying this extra, but at least it is less extra than with the more expensive sites which I am avoiding due to this situation.
Even the main page shows the price in euros to surfers from Europe. This implies that Videobox obviously embraces fully the idea of regional pricing and might not be willing to offer the dollar prices to Europeans even if asked to.

There are just times you feel an inherent warning signal. A big red creature with horns saying "trust me," for instance. A site that starts talking about "an amazing amount of porn 25, 30, 60 sites, 1000 of hours of fantastic porn, covering every niche," makes me very suspicious. You usually only get what you pay for, quite often, less. I wouldn't touch this one with a barge pole. It sounds like this organisation is not close to dishonesty, it crosses the line.

But to support the idea, IMHO, babes.tv isn't that hot, anyway. After being away for a calendar year's worth of updates, I took that 19.95 offer myself.
Sure there's original content and hot babes. And there are photos that go to 1600px. And there are videos. And there's softcore and hardcore. And daily updates. And zips.
Sure sounds like a winning formula, but there are problems that just make me glad that I didn't stick around, and hadn't. The photos tend to be too dark. Nor are they that clear. The bright colors have "noise." The posing is too often uninspired, so only girls that gush charm like Niagra Falls gushes water, girls like Marina Euphrat, can keep one enraptured. And frankly, they don't present ass in the way I like it, hardly ever. And for me, well, that's the final straw.
And sometimes when you click the link to a video or photoset on their calendar, it doesn't take you there. Instead, it takes you to the wrong link or to the model's page, which may or may not be updated for the item in question. This kind of flaky webmastering is inexcusable. If I were in charge, I'd fire people who left things undone like that after 3 violations.
But that's my take. I know some people really do like the site quite a bit more than I do.

Cool idea but I think it's pretty unlikely. AFAIK, Babes.tv is 100% exclusive while Babelicious is clearly not. Crisis or not, they still have to pay for the exclusive content.
What's more, as a former member of Babelicious, I received last month a newsletter offering me to join Babelicious and the 8 additional sites that come with it for 9.95 USD and also an offer to join Babes.tv alone (no extra sites) for 19.95 USD.
I must say that while I was a member of Babelicious for a month I downloaded much more content during the cross-sale 3-day trial I got for Babes.tv. At least for me, Babes.tv is way more interesting than Babelicious. If I ever come back to one of them, it will be Babes.tv even though it's more expensive.

Yes, I'd been away for a whole year and signed up. Agree that the bonus sites are nothing to cheer about. Actually, I went through them a little more than once (not quite twice) and just lost interest.
By analogy, that little prize in the box of Cracker Jacks I got a few times as a kid was more satisfying. (Ouch!)
And I don't suppose they've upgraded their image sizes past the 1280 pixel barrier yet, either.

That's interesting. The part I don't get is that it was "scrambling" to find a new upstream processor after its contract with the current one expired. That sounds like somebody "forgot" something that was, well, kinda important. ;)
That's when defecation impacted the rotary oscillator (i.e., the shit hit the fan).
BTW: by "the alternative," of course I meant NO PORN :-(

Thanks for positive feedback. I read your review before I did mine, did not want to just echo what you said, so I hope I added a little to what you already reported.
When two people are reporting on the same site, I expect at least some common agreement. Unless the reviewers are totally opposite in type.
Specific site score, for me, is subjective. I don't calculate scores by the grading methods of TBP, because I have no idea how to do that kind of cold calculation. My score is a gut feel or how much I like a site based on what I see (content quality + content quantity + site ease of use versus price).
I actually joined Justteenmovie for the Justteensite, which I belonged to back in early 2006. I wanted to get updates on the huge amount of updated pix and vids at Justteensite. When I belonged back then, the site was small, and I only downloaded a small number of photosets. Now they are a mega-site.

I went directly to the end of the list of models where you find those with the worst ratings and I was surprised to find a lot of excellent and sexy girls there. That's what I always do if a site offers such a ranking and I never got disappointed doing so :-)

I personally have no interest in getting into a protracted discussion about regional pricing. Truthfully, this discussion would be better suited to the forum than focused on a specific site. Still, as it's repeatedly come up in this "thread" I'll share a little info in hopes of letting users here understand the issue.
First off, those who keep referring to a wrong exchange rate don't seem to have grasped what regional pricing is. It is NOT an exchange rate .. has nothing to do with an normal currency exchange rate. It IS about charging a different price based on where the customer is from.
In other aspects of life, it seems not only common, but acceptable to be charged different prices for the same thing based on where you're buying (or where you're from). For instance, what I pay for a DVD or a cup of Starbucks coffee will vary greatly depending on where I purchase it. Another example, lk2fireone mentions (above) where he was being charged a higher rate than local citizens (while visiting Europe), for the same items, even though he was paying in the local currency. Still, it's a fairly recent development for porn sites and understandably, it's not being well accepted by those who are having to pay more.
The reason you're seeing it more for purchases made through CCBill is because CCBill, in their interface for the site owners, has added a feature making it easy and convenient for site owners to enable regional pricing. It's the actual site owner who's deciding to charge more based on where you're at, not CCBill. They (CCBill) just handle the transaction according to the site owner's instructions.
Is it understandable that some porn surfers are upset at paying more for the same product ... sure. Are tourist upset when they're charged more than locals ... you bet. Is this something that you can expect to see more of ... my guess is yes. Can anything be done about it ... sometimes, writing the webmaster and letting them know you're aware you're getting charged more is enough to prompt them to give you a better price.

That's a great tip, Denner. Come to think of it, every time I used Epoch they always charged me in U.S. Dollars and then converted it to Canadian Dollars at the going rate. Must try that with the next site I join. Might be a while, though, because our Dollar is still in free fall. :-(

I live in US, and have paid in foreign currency for some transactions with a credit card. The credit card company (I think it was mastercard) charged me an additional 3% above the conversion rate. And the conversion rate was not as good as that quoted on Wall Street (for major financial transactions), but that still seems better than the rates that are being offered to you for Euros.
