I merely commented about Videobox's regional pricing.
I think you are confused........
I was going to comment on the use of the words "nice".....but then saw later on, that you had been more specific about resolutions etc.
I could find no way of "deleting" my comment, so merely removed the text.

As I've said before, you can't trust this site when they offer lifetime membership - a year down the road, they change their billing partner and they say, oh, that wasn't our deal, that was our billing partner, we don't offer lifetime membership - and there you go.
They are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to ethics toward their customers.

I never got a virus or malware in all the years I subscribed to the usenet, but that's because I stuck with jpgs. As I hear they haven't found a way yet on how to infect those files. My news reader of choice was XNews. It is way outdated now but was very easy to use and is still available.

I gave up on the usenet for good because it was full of spam and contained very little of interest because the most prolific posters had moved on to other ways of doing their thing, unless you were lucky to get a news server that is retaining its articles for years! In that case you might be able to get a few picture sets but, I would almost guarantee, nothing new..

I didn't know the newsgroups still existed. I haven't been on them in many years, but I remember having to wade through all the spam. I was a Playboy subscriber for a while, but eventually tired of their prudish attitudes about not showing explicit photos. The overly glammed up look of the models got old too.

Kinda depressing actually, great review. But PB will always have a soft heart for since being a young
Kid in the 60's and that was what we saw as the grail of porn.
Just my opinion and maybe it was intentional, but seems the world move right past PlayBoy, and they stayed in the 60's and 70. I remember in the 1980 when playboy hit cable I thought now here we go. But alas they stopped short of being a porn powerhouse. And maybe that is because Heff sees PB as art of the female body or adult material but not porn. And guy growing up like me in the 60-70 ERA will tell you, even seeing the cover would get you wood. So are far as I was concerned that was PORN. I remember being depressed learning about air-brushing and later in todays world photo-shop.
Porn did used to be about slammin and hammering. It used to be about raw sexual energy the Heff once had full control of. I guess I always assumed PB would be the mountain top all other would aspire to accomplish.

Great review! I tried a subscription to Playboys website many years ago (back in the late 90s I think). At the time I was a subscriber to the magazine, and probably had ten years worth of back issues in my closet. I remember thinking that if the site was good and the Playmate photo sets were complete, I was going to get rid of all the mags I had. But when I joined, the photos were really crappy, so I kept the mags for a few more years. That was over 10 years ago and it sounds like not much has changed! Amazing that a company known for the quality of its printed magazine has never gotten it right on the internet. But I do have a question: does this site have a complete Playmate archive, and what else in addition to the Playmates does it have? Thanks!

It is pretty plastic, but I have always been drawn to their coed material for some reason... Probably because the first "porn" (if you can call it that) magazine I bought was one of those Girls of the ACC or something that Playboy puts out.
Outside of those, the shoots are all way over-photoshopped and excessively plastic as you say.
It is humorous to go back through and watch the bush slowly grow as you go further and further back in time.

Can't disagree with your review, I totally agree it isn't much of a site and totally worthless as a standalone, although I will say that I do really enjoy a few of their scenes, the sonia red scene they have here is for some reason my favorite scene of her. Although curiously they have merged a good portion of this material with their other sites, so not sure why they even bother keeping it.
I'm always curious how accurate the subtitles are...

I'm still in the site, but not by choice. The damned thing renewed me at their ridiculously high rate.
I spent some time last night trying to fight my way through the "garbage dump" structure, as you so aptly called it, to see if I was missing something that would help identify the babes and/or the scene. No luck but I did stumble on one video that was barely average in quality but was a great performance by one of my faves. But I'll be damned if I can find it again today.
My bottom line is that this site needs adult supervision and a user friendly structure.
There are so many site that are cheaper and much better out there I see no reason to remain a member and will keep trying to cancel my mambership.

I agree with you and I've certainly re-reviewed many sites when they've changed (for better or worse) or my opinion of them has changed over time. I am definitely not against re-reviews.
I think part of my dry spell is actually a positive thing. I recently went through my collection and deleted stuff I'm not interested in or have never watched. This still leaves me with a collection probably somewhere around 15-18TB. So I've partly been exercising some self-restraint and have vowed to spend some time browsing through some of the dustier corners of my collection rather than always be looking for the next big thing. I'm actually enjoying myself quite a bit doing this. I've been watching a lot of my favourites from the mid-1990s and into the 2000s. The video quality is terrible by today's standards but I'm having a great time watching some of my favourite scenes from all those years ago.
And I'm not worried... I know the desire to load up on active subscriptions will come roaring back soon!

Only two more reviews and you'll have the #2 spot... But considering how many points our friend exotics4me has I doubt he's in any danger of either of us overtaking him.
My 'problem' with writing reviews is that I'm just not subscribing to many sites these days and when I do they're most likely sites I've joined in the past and have already reviewed. This is the longest 'dry spell' I think I've ever had.
