OMG this is a pain in the ass. It has happened to me five or six times in the last year or so. I a couple of annuals and a couple of highly discounted monthly subscriptions (cheaper than annual), plus I rotate through most of their their sites once a year or so. Every time I sign up or cancel a site, my master account gets screwed up. For me, the problem is usually because they use different billers for different promotions. So two subscriptions are Epoch, two are rocketpay and one or two are ccbill. When they reset things, the different biller accounts don't synch up and logins fail. I had one account that continued to charge me for a couple of months before I realized that I wasn't actually cancelled like the site said. Of course, once I point all this out, they fix it within a day or two, but damn it is frustrating!

I had a similar experience recently, both with an issue logging on and getting a quick fix. I think they are trying to unify all the logons, which in the long run will be a good thing, but glitches like this are probably to be expected when they do stuff like this.

I got an email from their C/S that they're cancelling those charges - I still find it concerning that there were charges in the first place - and for that reason, I'm advising others on this forum to be on the lookout for similar issues if they join MetArt these days.

I agree, we usually don't have problems. But we've been experiencing the exception rather than the norm over the last 2 days. :) This impacted all sites and all users.
I do apologize that we've not been able to maintain our usual high standards and for the frustration that I am sure that it caused for all our members.

Coincidentally a little while ago I tried to hit the sign up page on a couple of the other Met Art Network sites namely Eternal Desire and Stunning 18 and got the same error message. Obviously they don't want to earn any money today.

As a subscriber to MetArt, I've received an email offer to join MetArt X for $14.99, which seems like a more reasonable price indeed. I would include a link here but I cannot see how to get to this page directly without having received the email.
I was hoping to see some feedback from people who had actually joined the site. The "tour" claims daily updates but some of "this week's videos" are dated in July and the same is true for photo galleries. There is no indication of the ratio of galleries to videos that I can see.

Thanks. Yes, $30 a month for what must be a leap of faith makes me wonder what they're thinking. Maybe they'll get more content on display in the future. Seems like it's really at an early point in development right now.

Yesterday the option changed again to "Thanks for using our public beta. Click here to set this as default" but there was no way to go back to the "classic format". Fortunately, there is a setting in "options" that allows you to set your default to "classic". This works, but my browser spends a lot of time switching from the now global-default new format to my personal setting classic format.
I would not mind the new format so much if it provided me with one-row per day (i.e. 4 sets) like the old one did, if it used the same naming conventions and if I could do the same things in the same number of clicks. (i.e. download a zip file) Both formats leave huge amounts of unused space on the sides. If the goal was to provide larger thumbnails, just take up some of that unused space.

I'm basically a video person myself. But, every once in a while I'll join a picture site just for a change of pace. I agree - the videos here aren't all that.
I have a 42" LCD television as my main monitor but I'm well aware that the resolution isn't as good as an actual computer monitor. But I also have a 27" monitor and the problem, as I see it anyway, still shows up. No, not so much when I'm viewing a whole picture on either screen, but when I zoom in a bit, there are the distortions.

You may be right. Someone posted elsewhere that they thought they remembered some of Galitsin's peeing shoots being posted on Metart, but they weren't sure because it was a long time ago. You seem to remember it clearly, so I will take your word for it.

Usually support will explain things like this if you ask. Some sites allow model's to buy back the rights to their shoots if the models want them to be removed. This can cost a good amount, so models will sometimes have to save up for each shoot to be removed one by one. Anyway, I don't know if that is the case here, but just a guess.

When I upgraded from monthly to annual a few years ago, the monthly still had 2 weeks or so to go. They immediately changed me to annual and prorated my partial month to the annual rate.
I was pleasantly surprised.

I stumbled into this review because I just read the comment posted by Parsnip about The Life Erotic and thought I'd browse the other sites operated by HLP.
Ditto all four previous replies. I was a $99 per year member for about three years but dropped out in 2011 because I've gravitated to video and found Twistys to suit my interests a lot more.
I'm into solo material of gorgeous ladies and the daily updates always seemed to have at least one, usually more, drop dead gorgeous babes. Unfortunately there were few videos and those they did make were, as previously noted, boring as Hell.
I'm reluctant but probably will sign up fot The Life Erotic because their preview site has a 2 minute video sampler that shows gorgeous babes like those on MetArt but they seem to be a lot better in the content (heavy petting, finger and object insertions, peeing, etc.) and, hopefully, some of the babes from MetArt have graduated to the erotic stuff.
One thing I really liked about this site's business practices is that, if you sign up for, say 1 month and decide to go for a full year, they will deduct the unused portion of the current month's fee from the annual price.
