A lot of the Open Life sites have been making these offers. For Hard X I suspect there is some necessity given the site is new, small and only add one scene per week. That's one scene, not one DVD.

As you say, this seems to be another in the heartcore genre; what I don't get is that Manwin already have Babes Network, which seems very similar; it has quite a bit of material now and I don't see what delineates this site from it. Babes is far more likely to be my next hardcore join...

Well, at least for me, it's not very much about quantity, but more about content. I don't really agree when you said "Because I think that Met-art has material that is similar to what is found at Hegre, and a lot more besides.", well it has indeed, but that kind of material they share, is precisely the kind of material I'm not interest into.
To be honest, here is my point, I'm interested in 3 kind of stuff :
- basic, hardcore, rough pictures, even if not beautiful, that's my 'instant_turn_on_pics'. For this kind of material i want something "in_your_face" material, I have a quite good collection of Suze randall Pics, old pictures from Hutsler Taboo, some stuff from Kink.com, 21th Sextury...
- I like also something much more 'arty', with beautiful lights, nice lingerie..., but I mean really creative in its framing or scenery, something that I can print out and frame proudly in my living room. I love Petites Parisiennes for that, there is plenty of very very beautiful pictures worth having them onto your wall, (and I have 6 large prints from this site in my home !), and just for that I don't mind paying a membership because if I had to buy art prints it will cost a LOOOOT more. But it's also sexy, fresh, french (of course, that point appeals me ! -i'm french-) and I love the whole concept, and the site is very fun to use, with good persons on the forum (Hello Otoh ;)
- And I'd love to have a good in-between : I mean really hot stuff shot with real talent, I thought X-art would fit because the photographer behind it, Brigham Fields, did something remarkable before but softcore, but after a few sets, it's always the same, and even if really well done it lacks creativeness (but it's my #1 in this particular category).
met-art, it's not enough titilliating for me, and not enough arty neither (well as you said, I didn't see all I may have gave up too fast on this, too much in_the_forrest or near_the_shore shots) and Hegre, he's somewhere in between met-art and x-art but with some very explicit stuff and some so-so with similar content...
I think you may understand better my point now... I'm still searching for my Porn-Art where there is REAL porn and REAL art.... quite hard to find...:(

well for me TBP gave a kind of 'absolute score' and that's true that Hegre in its category (nude erotica, clean, with young and pretty girls) is really a must see... At the condition to have an interest in that kind of category !! Of course if you expect to see hardcore gangbang or hairy girls next door, you'll be disapointed ;-)
And as often, people who score a website are either very upset or very happy about it, I think there is a bunch of folks who are actually members of Hegre and whose voice is not heard anywhere... because they are just normally happy with the content.
That's why it's fair and smart to have the two scores side by side, that helps a lot in choosing a website, and those two scores are very valuable each one for its category.

A lot of sites, even 'softcore' push their videos in the tours.
I still think, over time, we will get greater polarisation of sites to either specialise in video or photosets.
There are already many exclusively video sites.

I think some of that may be the Video Clan v. the Photoset Clan.
TBP seems largely video dominated in its reviewing.
They count few videos as a minus.
PU have at least an element of Photoset Clan in evidence, myself included in that.

Well, it's 19,95$/mo (or 99,95$/yr) if you come from PU/TBP. And that's a pretty good deal if you like HA.
Now if you hit the "Join" button directly from HA, then the monthly price is... 39,95$ (and 150$ for a year). I wouldn't consider joining HA at this price.

It is possable that the world fin. situation might have some effect though one would have to take a look a several years worth of traffic to see what the trend is. It could be possiable that we are seeing the drop that occurs from people who join a site only for a few mounths then leave I am sure for all sites ther must be a peak couple of mounths that they have the most members. Of course the other thing is that Alexa.com meassures the traffic that goes to the entire site not just one part of it for example only 7% of people went to Met-Arts member area while the rest went to tour areas or to those pages that show several pic from a photoset. It does look like the traffic is higher in the summer time though maybe more people are members then. Of course porn as a whole is a multi billion dollar industry just in the United States so Id say pretty safe to say that most of the big name sites will do just fine in the long run even Playboy magazine has had some ups and downs over the years. Though even playboys web site is about 600 spots lower than Met-Art I guess a few people could take a few days and look up most of the sites listed on PU and see what the traffic levels are it would be neat to see what site has the highest rank on the whole web traffic wise. And to compare one site to another traffic wise that could cause some heated comments; "Street Hoes is better than Corner Sluts" oh really well according to the traffic levels Corner Sluts has 75% more traffic per mounth!" Ha ha I can see it now.

yep very true there is a website traffic ratting site used by webmasters(I wont name it but it is very accurate) on this site it will give you trafic info for damn near any site out there and it shows the traffic in a chart from for several years now Heargeart has been on the whole losing traffic and it is way below any erotic art site copmetion perhaps why they charge more?

Well, lk2 - got to agree with your score and your cons/bottom line.
This somewhat small site at the Teen Mega World network should really not attract much attention - though part of the deal.
It's downright lousy, especially in quality - a site when member of that TMW I skipped going back to.
It's almost like: The more sites in the network, the better in appetizers - even if the quality is quite questionable - like some others here.
And BTW: Still think it's good point in making a review of separate sites within a network..(we've been discussing this earlier)

You and I are a lot alike. For me collecting is probably more important than watching. I'm sure I have tons of stuff that I've never watched.
I'd ordinarily agree that the download limit would be a deal breaker but I'll make an exception in this case since the porn is amazing. As I noted in the review, Gozzling is now with Evil Angel too and his titles overlap there so that's a way to download the scenes. And EA has a TBP discount too.

There is some great lloking girls there. Their media quality has gone up a good bit not too long ago. You will find some nice looking pictures and videos there, and plenty of them. They also had a $10 retention offer when I was there, so something to keep in mind if you join but want to stick around longer than one month.

what the number of latest updates have been made in 2009 and what is the normal update sequence.
Also, some of the latest movies are only steaming. I overlooked this but would like to know
why some are and some are not.

I've been looking around the various teen sites and have decided to check out some of the teen sites that have just been reviewed. The one that peaked my interest is 8TeenWorld which has 100's of movies and feeds to Barley Legal from Hustler. After reviewing the content which I have seen elsewhere, I'm thinking of rejoining Hustler again. But the only reason I joined was that they got rid of the DRM which was varified before I joined by Hustler. So to make sure, I went to my movie collection and several months later was able to play all the movies I selected at random. Guess the DRM has been removed and I can say that my movies are playing. What I don't know if they added enough movies to join again. That's the only concern I have.

Joined the site today and so far it's been nothing but trouble trouble trouble. Logging in..waiting for www.hustler.com..waiting for everything...and then white screen...nada.
Finally got to dl a scene. The speed is incredible! 35-75 kb/sec!!!!
On a fast site I can dl with 2.5 MB/sec!
I should have listened to the warnings, and so should you. Steer away from the Hustler sites!
