Everytime I've been a member I've been really happy with the site, my only real issue with them is the lack of hardcore. If you like natural and lots of it, hard to find any other site that comes close imo.
Yeah, I'd never agree to their terms. (owe them $25,000 plus %1.5/month late fee, plus collection fees if you cancel your card.)
A prepaid card might work, but not really worth the hassle and extra charges.
The thing that sounds good about these virtual credit cards is you can get a new one time credit card number for every charge for no extra fee using your existing account.
This might solve a lot of the problems that people have with BangBros or even the standard sneaky pre-checked cross sales that most of the sites have.
My current credit card doesn't offer this feature, but I plan to look for it the next time I get a new card.
I am getting a follow-up at least once a week but they offer no incentive to re-join (such as a discount price or an extra week or two) so it serves only to irritate, not attract return business.
I liked the site when I was a member, then canceled when I was expecting to be off-line for about a month. I planned to rejoin shortly after I returned but kept putting it off...then the weekly "we want you back" stuff started to show up. When I saw a review of Brazzers, I decided to give that site a try before going back to Bang Bros. Love Brazzers so I'm still holding out on Bang Bros.
Thanks for your detailed review. We took it very seriously and we have made the following improvements to our site:
We moved to a better, faster Hosting company, so page to page is faster and streaming videos work well.
We have improved our Search, so there are not duplicate file names. We also added an Advance Search feature.
All video/photo descriptions now have clickable links. We added video previews in our Updates section.
Short video clips have all been deleted. Most are now 6 – 15 minutes. We have deleted duplicate clips from our Amateur Video sections.
More older videos are converted weekly for streaming.
Any movement by camera or model (even breathing) is magnified when so close-up. Newer content is better and many of the older clips have been re-edited with this in mind.
As with many sites, our older content is not as high resolution, or as good quality, but still worth a look. We have added dates to all our content, so you can see if the clips are older and possibly lesser quality. (Our CMS does not allow for clip size and length in the Model Directory.)
Our photo set average 50 – 60 images, some much larger. Only in the frequently updated Amateur and Body Parts sections are they 20 per page. Most older photo sets have or will be re-edited to improve overall quality.
We added a Slideshow feature for photo sets. Yes, there are a few models over the years who requested their names be changed. This is only seen if you look at the file names on individual photos.
We have much more variety in our newer photo sets and videos, including themes, models and locations. At member request we are adding more lesbians, fetish, hairy, smoking, peeing, shampooing and pregnant girls.
We have added a “Favorites” feature, to store your favorite content right on our site.
As for our 12,000 MB download limit, this is a significant amount at any one time. It was added late last year, due to those few people who joined or hack into our site and downloaded most of it, to post on their own or other sites. I cry myself to sleep most nights thinking about all the time and money we have spent, only to have our content stolen and re-sold : ( The same with password sharing. We had to hire a password protection company to guard against abuse.
We have a much higher than industry average member retention rate, so many of our members consider BodyParts.biz a very good value and the above improvements should only help.
Please take another look and re-review when you have a chance.
Great thorough review RB. I like the idea of amateur girls rather than glossy professional, but closeups leaves me cold, and it sounds like the site has more than its share of faults.

Yeah sometimes for a change I like to have a good old closeup but yeah totally get what you mean, it can't be just closeups as its just a bodypart and without a face it loses the fantasy.

brazzers.com are the biggest con artists ever! DO NOT go there! I used to be a loyal and happy member. I canceled my account due to feeling i needed a change. However, their payment processor manstermed.com gave away my card details to its own 'affiliates' who randomly started charging my card!!! I told Brazzers.com this and they didn't give a shit. The content is good but their customer care sucks ass and they're thieves. Join @ your own risk people. (and make sure you use a credit card!)
Strange with this one time pretty ok site - it has now turned into one of the most criticized sites at PU.
Not that I'm a big fan, but still wonder how things turned out his way...
Guess we'll never hear from the site-owners/webmasters. And RB certainly has got a point. Won't even consider to join again..

I didn't really miss them, but there are two reasons why I still wrote this comment:
1. Even after reading reviews, I didn't expect it to be THAT bad.
2. with average PU rating being in 85+ range, I don't think it is yelled loud enough :-).

Putting video encoding quality aside and concentrating on the content itself (and anyone paying attention to my rants all over PU will know that it is content itself what matters to me :-)), I will say that from what I've seen to date (which admittedly is too little yet to form reliable opinion), they're MUCH less boring and repetitive then MOST of the sites out there. Just one example of creativity not to be found elsewhere: session of underwater sex in scuba diving gear (from BigTitsInSports); for me it's a clear sign that their production team does indeed care about the footage they're producing.
And BTW, I'm pretty sure that ANY adult web site with regular updates is BOUND to be repetitive. While it is sad, but there aren't too many ways to vary adult scenes :-(. Give me ANY site and I'll make the very same "repetitive content" argument about it. And comparing Brazzers to other networks (like, for example, FilthFreaks or Jerk-Off Pass), IMHO Brazzers are MUCH less repetitive.
Their deceitful marketing is a completely different story, and I'm completely on your side in this regard.

Not sure about the "adult industry", but in other areas it's common to have marketing guys fairly separate from the "production" guys. So it seems to me that Brazzers have good content production team (these are the guys who're "doing something right") and horribly greedy marketing team (which I'm pretty sure will backfire sooner rather than later).

but, yeah, they are the kings of "wring all the money possible out of your customers".
Honestly, I have had a TERRIBLE, AWFUL, NO GOOD time with brazzers with exactly this issue.
Here is what happened with me so perhaps someone else can avoid what happened to me.
To begin with, I'm not a regular online porn buyer so perhaps I am not fully aware of how to navigate online porn venders... in other words, how not to be ripped off. I do work at a very popular, high volume sex shop so I do know some about the buying and selling of porn, however. In any case, my boyfriend was out of town and I was bored. I decided to try a "trial membership" at brazzers. After watching the three videos that were available to trial members I decided to cancel my membership a few horus after I had originally purchased my membership. Niether my password nor my username worked to cancel. Fed up, I tried to call their number. No good, I am told that I can't make the phone on my cell, only on a land line. I dont' have a land line... Okay, so I sent brazzers support an email asking them to please cancel my membership. Instead of cancelling my membership, I get an email back directing me to another website (different than the one I had originally tried to use) to cancel my membership. At this point, two days had passed and I was charged for a month membership. I CANCELED my membership right away and then asked that I be refunded because the only reason I didn't cancel before was because I couldnt' get ahold of them, THE WEBSITE DIDN'T LET ME CANCEL IN THE FIRST PLACE, and it took them three days to get ahold of them.
OKAY, so now I am charged $40 for something I never even viewed. I spent no time on the actual site... I wrote them stating my grievance... no reply. I wrote them again after no one replied to me asking again for a refund and describing my issue. In this email they asked me what my username and password were even though this information was clearly in the message below my second letter asking for someone to respond to me. I've written them again, hopefully they'll write me this time?
I've had a terrible, terrible time with these people. I honestly just want someone to talk to me about the issue and hear waht has happened because it is ridiculous. I get really upset just thinking about it... but maybe that is just the fighting redhead in me. ARGHGHGHAGHG! Being as I work at a large sex shop in a major city, at least I know that I am in a position to warn people about brazzers! If brazzers doesn't get back to me, I'm going to ask management if I can post a sign about my issue with brazzers! You know, I think I'm going to post my own isse on this website about it, too.
Also, the dude blaming the issue on epoch is whack and shizisty from where I stand.
