Yeah, Pat, the last time I was there I recall 2 or 3 girls who came to their senses and walked off the set about 8-10 minutes into a scene. . . Wondering what you think of some of the sites on Kink.com. . . I was there a few months ago, and some of the gangbang scenes (with a kidnap/rape plot) and some of the Public Disgrace scenes went pretty far too. But, it appears the producers and directors go out of their way to explain to the star exactly what`s going to happen, and are genuinely concerned that they are safe and comfortable. . . On a lighter and happier note, I just received an E-Mail from Adult Doorway indicating I would be getting a full refund.
Wouldn`t call myself a "fan", but I do like to see some rough stuff every now and then. . . That being said, no argument, this is, far and away, THE single most abusive site on the web - After D/L-ing a scene, I have to edit out a lot of the choking and forced vomiting (and the re-consumption of the vomit!). . . Amazingly though, there are some big name stars here (and not at the start of their careers) - like Tory Lane, Amber Rayne, Mika Tan, etc. . . And, admittedly, some girls, at the end of their scenes, look like they`ve just been anally gangbanged at a biker bar. . . But, then there are others who RETURN a 2nd or 3rd time. Go figure. . . Suffice it to say, this ain`t Vivid. . . .My point was, whether you watch this kind of stuff or not, having to literally wait MINUTES after every click you make is unacceptable for ANY site.
As extreme as it is I'll keep them, if for no other reason that I never purge porn. I did that a couple of times back when digital media was still young and expensive and I came to regret it. Much of my quest for porn has been to find the stuff I purged. It's actually been pretty successful since most of it was movies from the early and mid-nineties.
And I agree that one of the many great things about PU is that there is always a way for members to ask each other questions.
My review will be up by the time you read this, and while I wouldn't necessarily recommend this site to anyone, I hope that I kept it objective. My goal would be for someone to look at the reviews (all of them) and get a sense of what is there, plus get a sense of how the site measures up in objective technical stuff. Objectively, the site is great - there is a decent amount of material, the navigation is simple but effective, the download speeds are great, the scenes are well shot, well lit, etc. If someone were to read the reviews and say 'these two guys thought it was too extreme, but they also say the site is decent and not a rip off, then I feel safe joining' then I'm happy with that.
And full disclosure - after all my comments about it being too extreme, there are still some scenes that I plan to download.
So many others did have technical problems with the site that I thought I'd make the specific comment that I didn't have any of those issues. When you and I had a back-and-forth after you wrote your review that was one of my big concerns. If you reported problems I would have stayed away, but since you didn't I took the plunge. Maybe whatever problems other people had have been resolved.
I agree with you that there is good extreme and bad extreme. Read the comment from malikstarks in this thread. I agree with him too. But... there really is good extreme and bad extreme. Where is that line? I don't know. Maybe you and I are just being too subjective and basing this on taste. Maybe it's an age thing in that people younger than us have different media experiences. I still think that The Exorcist is the most scary movie ever made, because when it came out there was nothing like it. For someone in their 30s The Exorcist might seem tame and quaint.
But having said that, I still think that there has to be an objective standard for what is too extreme. And now that I think of it, there is. Most countries would have some criminal law dealing with this kind of material. You and I are both in Canada and I suspect that this material would be found to be illegal if we tried to import it as a DVD. The problem with using the criminal standard to determine whether this is too extreme is that that standard itself uses the :community standard" test. I'd bet you have trouble convincing blue-haired old Baptist ladies anywhere that this stuff isn't extreme, but they'd probably say that about tame mainstream porn too.
I think for me that I'm going to come down to the same test that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Potter used way back in 1964. To paraphrase him for this discussion, I may not be able to define what is too extreme, but I know it when I see it.
pat - based on your review and the conversation we had in the comments section I took out a membership at Facial Abuse. Holy crap you weren't kidding when you said this stuff is extreme! I like hardcore BDSM and I even like some Max Hardcore stuff, but I found this shocking. That really surprised me. This seems to be abuse for the sake of abuse.

I like some of this stuff, and I know you've probably read some of my past reviews of sites like The Training of O. I like sites where women are submissive, but I also like it where the male dominance isn't over the top. In the Kink sites (The Training of O, Public Discrgace, etc.) it is pretty clear that there is no real abuse going on. That's important to me. Rough sex is one thing, but abusive sex is another. As a fellow Canuck, I'm sure you'll understand the issue that hockey may be a ROUGH game, but it doesn't have to be VIOLENT. That might apply here too.
One other question - do you remember having any problem cancelling your mmembership?
Pat - how did you find the download speeds at Facial Abuse? Some people posted comments that it was really slow and those comments were posted before your review. I'm wondering if that got resolved.
I was a member of that site some months ago. This site has some really abusive and strong BJ scenes, if you are not person who likes such kind of sex probably you should stay away from this site.

This site has changed in what content you get. I first signed up when it was new several years ago and they had just four sites, facialabuse.com,spermsuckers.com, ghettogaggers.com, and ebonycumdumps. Customer service was prompt and definitely first rate. Later they added a few other sites such as latinaabuse.com. Later they added leased content, but at least everything they had was linked together as a network at a reasonable price. Once the recession hit, they started bombarding me with almost constant promotions. I remember once getting 13 emails about a two week promotion. The content got rougher. Customer service became unresponsive. Lately I got an email from them about the promo that you signed up for, and it showed them as based in Cyprus, not the New Jersey address that they had previously. Now I see they have split it all up into several networks, with no access to out of network content. All I see is greed and a declining value for a membership.

Thre trial memberships I tested gave me full access to the site in question. From the top of my mind, it was ladieskissladies, licksonic and ladiesfuckgents. However, I tried them about year ago, so don't sue me if they changed anything in the meantime.

Video resolution is greater than what you were asking about. It also seems to have been filmed in hi-def of some sort. I have an 18" monitor on my laptop. I can enlarge the movie to fit the full screen and there is no loss in quality. I would not say that its Blu-Ray quality, but defiantly DVD quality.
There is nothing more frustrating than downloading a movie and its only a little box on your monitor, and if you try to enlarge it, it pixelates terribly. No such worries with movies on Ferro. Very high quality.
I downloaded over 200 videos and had not a problem at all.
Hey pat362. I went into the file I'm using to hold my downloaded photos and randomly selected 4 photos. The results are as follows: Photo 1 - width 1000, height 1505. Photo 2 - width 1500, height 2258. Photo 3 - width 1505, height 1000. Photo 4 - width 1000, height 1504.
Video resolution is superb. Yes, some video shoots are split into 3-4 parts, but that is the exception rather than the rule. Split videos are less than 2-3%.
Just a short remark agreeing with you re. language. This is not of major importance to me either, because I too prefer it to deafening silence, so the Russian by itself wasn't half as bothersome as the Russian along with a very predictable story line. I don't think I kept a single video.
Hey, Pat, your 62 is well deserved. I subscribed, not to the network, but to one of their other sites (Lesbians kissing, or some such thing) and was deeply disappointed. The technical quality was there but the videos themselves were in Russian and mostly cookie cutter and therefore extremely boring.
The two bonus sites I got within a short time of subscribing were older - younger themed but were a farce because one could never tell who was the older and who was the younger, sort of defeats the purpose and fantasy of the whole thing. :-) Good review, sorry about your disappointment.
