Yup, it's definitely good advice. I'm normally quite sceptical about trials anyway because it's very rare in my experience you can just rip everything, otherwise the webmaster would surely be doing themselves out of business.
Would be interested to know if omberman got in touch with the webmaster about this. It could just be a technical problem and hopefully they can tell that you didn't manage to download anything. If they fix it and compensate you by extending the trial, then I think that reflects positively on the site.

The way I understand omberman's comment is that he wasn't complaining about only being able to view three videos, but that the three he tried didn't work but still showed as having been viewed, meaning he didn't get to see anything - I might be wrong though.

1. The videos are broken up into rounds of games. There are 12 games with 7 rounds each game. There are also 6 bonus games that are each individual downloads, some bonus games having multiple POV each game.
2. Not sure, it's been a while since i had to download them. I want to say like 640 x 480
3. Each round/game has to be downloaded separately. No compilation files.
No i have not checked that site, but really the amateur participants on this site really entice me more than anything.

I think the allure of IR is that it is perceived by some as still being taboo. I have no idea why that is, but it is. Consider all the threads on other forums about which starlets will and won't do IR. It's a major fascination these days for some. I can't fault Mason for wanting in on the craze. If Dark X's success helps fund more Tushy.com scenes then I'm a fan too! Bring on more first anals on Tushy!

You're probably right that the TBP discount influenced my decision a bit and that if I had to pay full price I might not have been so generous.
Your contrast of Dark X with Hard X and Tushy is correct too. I paid full price for Tushy because of the three sites that was (is) the one that offers something distinct and valuable. They offer a lot of first anals and I'm willing to pay to collect those.
But Hard and Dark are really much more mainstream and could really be rolled together. I do think that for whatever reason "IR" is popular so Mason wanted to take advantage of that.

I agree 100% that the material for this site could just as easily be uploaded to either Hard X or Erotica X depending on the scene. I gave the site the benefit of the doubt because times are tough in the porn business and if a producer/director can spin off a separate site to generate more earnings then I can live with that - as long as the quality is good, and it is very good on all of Mason's sites.

I have talked to a manager and she said that once blocked there's no way to reverse it. I join about 7 sites a year and more and more Epoch is the processor for the ones that I like.

You are so right and obviously we dont agree.
Yes you are wrong - rehash a video and call it something else to inflate a site does not score quality points with me.
And no, I dont have to give you such comparison sites for a very simple reason: I review DDF that for what I see and I dont know that many other sites yet. Unlike you, I found their search system lacking and not that helpful when I used it.
As for content on the their other sites - no I didnt like those much.
Regarding their platform being outdated: may I please refer you to the comment/question I made which Ace replied to state my point.
To be frank, pat, I really dont understand your need to raise the score for DDF, a site that in some sense tries to cheat its customers by unsecure billers and a customer support that sucks when their customers ask for help to cancel. Just because you never had a problem does not entitle you to be forgiving when it happens to others.
And finally Pat, please show better respect for those opinions that differs from yours. Im not here to make you happy or promote DDF, and I am entitled to my own opinions just as you are.
DDF is in my opinion really not a good site and you seem to overrate it. Thank you for finding some of my points valid.

Well.... 60 is still a recommendation score.
And I think I was pretty clear about the downsides: rehashing a scene to fit a site and then not easy to find the original is for me a downside.
And even if some scenes are really good, the total does not really represent quality to me. Lots of rehashes and solo scenes dont justify the price.
But the decisive point is of course the cancellation problems I faced. I really mean it: there is NO excuse to ask for credit card details on an non-encrypted connection.
In my opinion it reflects back on DFF since I cannot choose billing company and the one selected for me was not secure.
DFF support failed this time and it of course reflects on my review
Porn sites is not just about content - its about customer care. The sites lacks and is outdated in my opinion.
Since pat has not shared my experience I see no problem for him to be more postive. But please respect that my opinion is sincere.
It should be up to the customer to choose biller - when a site like DDF makes that choice for me then there is simply no excuse.
Overrated is my experience, if pat is happy with what he gets then we are both helping the site the best we can.

The most recent images are roughly 2000 x 1328. The most recent full HD vids are in the 2gig range for MPEG format. Not sure about bit rate. Don't know enough about videos to supply this. I can say, however, the videos are fluid and not choppy when viewed in the browser. Again, I am not much into videos. But even these are higher in quality than I have seen elsewhere. They just have a pop on the screen I have not seen from other videos. It is eye-popping.
But again, for me, it's all about the detail and quality. Regardless of what the specs are, I would rather see a high-quality image at 800x600 than a large 4000x2000 image that is sub-par and poorly taken ,with bad llighting. That is what I value the most.

Hi. I understand what you mean. I don't take it as trying to pick a fight. I just provide points I think the average person would be interested in. I could add more comments but it would just be for the sake of adding more comments. I don't think it would be of much use to anyone. Really, what my review is saying is that, in my humble opinion, for those interested in photography and professional-grade production, this is about as good as you will come across in terms of quality of content, etc...
The full HD videos also are as good as I have ever seen in terms of the eye-popping quality. I really haven't seen clearer and more detailed videos from an online service--whether it is netflex or bangbros. To me, the detail and professional quality of the material is outstanding.
The user interface is as good as others. very simple and easy to use. DL speeds are very high. I never had issues with timing out or locking up. Now, whether or not people enjoy the actual content is entirely subjective. Everyone has their own interests and tastes in erotic content.
I really am not thinking about drawing attention to the site or trying to sway opinion by scoring it a 99. The thought never crossed my mind. I am just calling it like I see it personally. To me, it is a near perfect site. Others may see it entirely differently, as some other review scores testify.

Well, I base my reviews on impressions. All I have to go by when forming the impressions is past experiences with other sites. Comparatively, it is the best site I have personally come across. I am not a real high powered user so my experiences are limited. I really find it to be as good as my score indicates. That doesn't mean it really is a 99 in an objective sense. That is just how I rate it. Others will see it different perhaps. Someone might not like the content or the camerawork isn't their style etc. but it is the closest to a perfect site as I have come across so far. My views may change if I come across something else in the future and I have a new baseline to judge things. As it exists now, though, this site is at the top of my current baseline. I honestly haven't seen anything better yet.

I'm with you, so far. I've tooled around the site for a few hours and while the content is stunning as before, the new site format is not easy to navigate and worse, the download process is inefficient.
At a reasonable price, like, say, $19.95 or $24.95, I'd probably stay on board as a member. At $29.95 it's too expensive. The regional Euro price is really inappropriate.
In comparison, I am a long time member of 21Sextury, which I consider equal to DDF in content quality and better than DDF is variety and will stay a long term member with their very reasonable pricing structure.
DDF will eventually discover how much money they are leaving on the table by charging prices that are far higher than their competition and by not creating a basic loyalty to their product.
I'll probably cancel my membership before the auto-renewal kicks in in 29 days.

Thanks. I looked at both at TBP but I'm not sure if the sites they list have been updated since 21Setury made the change. There are several sites within 21Sextreme that I'd be interested in, but 21Setury defintely has more. With the TBP discount I'll probably take a membership to both eventually.

Frankly, I don't understand the point of having so damn many sites anyway. I remember when it was just "1byday." Nice 'n simple. Now they've got something like 10 and they have (had?) that offer of all 10 for some discount price.
To me, it just causes unnecessary complication and confusion. I want my fucking porn served up straight 'n simple without all of this biz-concept bullshit.
Same comment goes for 21st Sextury. Remember when it was just PixAndVideo and ClubSandy? That was good enough! Both companies have overreached and they look like real idiots.

Well, they've done a fair amount of that "now you don't see it, now you do" trick of putting content from one site on to another, too. I didn't realize that Hands on Hardcore was in that game plan, but surprised I ain't.
DDF Beauties was my biggest annoyance in that way, with just about all of it being stuff that had already been posted on other ddf sites.
I guess I was stupid to assume that "new site" meant "new content." But maybe not. Stupid means unable to learn. I no longer join ddf sites, so I guess I was simply gullible.

Yes, they do a lot of remastering of older material and posting it as updates. With the photos, their pre-1616 pixel stuff got made into 1616 pixel reduxes, and now those are being made into 2000 pixel updates. The DDF network is now full of such reworked content.
While I've said before that I don't mind such stuff if it makes it better (and that I don't return often for it), it has gotten kind of ridiculous. I suppose they'll be redoing the 2000's as 2500's sooner or later -- with yet another logo design, of course.
It's not what the term "repeat business" was intended for ...

I suppose that is the case, but there are other sites are putting out decent content, many euro sites included amongst those, so what is their excuse? It just seems like their standards have gone way down, I'd rather a site put out 1 decent scene a week than 5 mediocre ones. I was a member of x-art for a few months even though their update rate is relatively slow, because their updates were usually pretty good (albeit short).

1By-Day still gives you 3 fresh exclusive scenes every week, plus 3 non-exclusive purchased scenes (first time they've ever appeared on DDF). Hot Legs & Feet still gives 2 fresh exclusive scenes every week.
Half on Only Blowjob's scenes are fresh exclusive scenes.
Then it's all the other sites where the bulk of the remastered/recycled/purchased content sits.
And if you are curious at all about a particular scene, just save off any one of the images then look at its detail properties they all have the "date picture taken" field filled in.

To be honest I haven't been a member of this site before or any of their network so to me a lot of stuff looked new. They do update very often so probably some stuff is repeated. I was mostly interested in their sex casting videos and the behind the scenes videos which were were interesting (you get to see some hot girls get ready and pose for the photoshoots) so to me most of the content was new. At their price I'd say you should try a 2 day trial and cancel if you don't like what you see.

Pay attention to the numbering scheme of the sets, you can quickly pick up which ones are new and which ones are years old.
That or just take a close look at the properties of any photo after downloading it.
