The comment that the video resolution is small is completely INCORRECT.
The high quality stream is 900 x 506 and looks great. This guy is referring to the download that we give as a courtesy. It is there only to allow you to keep a copy for yourself. It is not the main focus of the site. The high quality stream is.

Who makes more money: an expensive boutique restaurant or the McDonalds Corporation? Coca Cola proved over a century ago that selling massive numbers of a product with good marketing trumps higher priced goods in the bottom line any day.

As usual, Pat, I think you've got it exactly right. Someone works hard in the beginning, then the money starts to come in and they begin to think they deserve it with less hard work. Eventually humans think they deserve it with no work at all.
I studied marketing and am a big believer in the psychology of "price-points." There is a point where you can maximize income without losing too many customers. If you raise your prices after that, the customer base evaporates and your income declines drastically.
Blockbuster had a plan that you paid a set price and got unlimited videos (one at a time) years ago. After being on the plan for many months they decided to raise the price and I quit. Found better options and haven't been to a Blockbuster store since (and I used to go several times a week, but now its been years since I went).
It costs almost nothing to run a web-site with no new product. Every dollar you make is almost total profit since you don't have to produce or ship any new goods. You can coast and still make money unless.......unless you raise the price above the "price-point."

They now have 30 videos again. One of the videos I downloaded last week has disappeared and a new one added as the "latest update". I dont doubt that their video catalog is larger than 30 but thats all you seem to get at any one point in time. Give this one a miss, you may not even be able to get the videos that interest you

Yep. My score was more or less based on the 'crappy' download speed.
Videosz does compares to Videobox when it comes to content - give or take a few titles.
I'm not sure what you mean when you disagree about the joining fee. I thought it was reasonable, but you think it's really good? Bad? Also note you paid $15 but I actually paid $24(£15).

The issue I have is not the download limit, at least queued links don’t go dead with this site which is a huge plus point. The issue is the rant concerning how they were losing money with customers like me. After all it is a free market; they set the price and the rules for their site, so ranting at customers regarding loosing money is unprofessional in my opinion.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. This one has taken a few days to sort out.
We got with the site owner and found that (as you reported) new sign-ups to the site will *not* see the "bonus" sites included. However, older members of the site will continue to get access to those other sites. That's why our editors saw them and you did not.
Our editors are making notes and updating the listing for all of the sites so hopefully, no-one else will sign-up thinking they're getting other sites included with their membership.
Thanks for bringing this one to our attention so we can keep our listings current.

I have to agree with pat362... whereas it's annoying when sites limit you to eg 2gb per day - stopping you even downloading just a few scenes in one go - bandwidth does cost the sites and 41GB is pretty generous.
Unless you were trying to download an entire site with eg a 3-day trial membership - which, to be fair, isn't really in the spirit of things - I can't imagine that being much of a restriction.
And if you can download >1TB of content for around $30, there's really not much of anything - porn or otherwise - that can compare in value :)

I agree with you on the quality of TBP and PU. I haven't really looked at another review site since I found this in 2007. I trust the TBP reviews and the gang at PU is always helpful in filling in some details and given a good subjective assessment of a site.

For me, 50plus/60plus MILFS (SCORE) came the closest, Pat. Too bad they changed their business model so that contents could only be streamed after a certain time. It's a site I would have returned to over and over, but I would never subscribe to it long term because the updates would be too slow to make it worth my while.

Yep, the site, all in all, disappointed me as well, Pat, for the same reason: most of the models did not fit the "older" definition. I made a comment about liking many of the sets and videos for their lingerie contents, but find I haven't gone back to the ones I've saved on my hard drive since I downloaded them, so maybe it was just an attempt on my part to make myself feel better about a wrong move. :-)

I asked our editors to take a look at this one and they got back to me that they're not seeing what you're seeing.
The editor said:
When I log into the site, I see the regular content for the site, and down at the bottom of the page are the 2 bonus sites displayed with words indicating that you get access to them with membership to the current site.
I clicked on both of them and each link takes you directly into the member area of each site.
So, I can't really explain why you're not getting access to the other sites.
You might try contacting the site owners about the problem you're seeing ... especially if their promotions also indicate that you should be getting access.
We'd be interested in hearing how this one turns out.

I’ve recently made it a point to check any reported errors at TBP before signing up to a site. I’ve reported errors that don’t then get fixed in the main review. I can understand why that is – the reviewer has a set of facts and reports on that but things may change. And it wouldn’t make any sense for TBP staff to just change a review based on a comment from a reader, even if the reader making the comment is well known as you are on the site. I once reported an error on a daily download limit that did get changed in the review, but recently I noted an error in Wave Hos where the TBP review says it is a full trial and it isn’t. There is extremely limited access to the site via the trial. The problem for TBP though is that may be difficult to confirm.
TBP is an amazing resource but they can’t be perfect all the time, so I make it a point to check TBP and PU before joining a site – and that now includes looking at any reported errors.

Given that it was a site not geared to your preferences, I think you have been very fair in your review.
Yes, the Karup's sites are primarily photoset orientated.
From a personal point of view the thing that tends to downgrade my view of them is that they seem to insist in a lot of fake arousal & 'touchy, feely' at the expense of clear body shots.
Other than that I really like them.

I'm guessing this is a temporary thing. I previously joined through Spunky Bee, because, like you say, it offered access to all the sites at Tony Bucks. The other sites cost the same amount, but all offered access to fewer sites in the network.
If Spunky Bee has truly become a stand-alone site, with no access to other sites in the network, then few people will join this site, I believe.

Yeah me too these days, its weird, a few years I never really thought too much of anal and just liked watching women having sex but these days after seeing lots of anal scenes (seems to be much more popular too with porn sites also) I do prefer anal to vaginal. I think its cause its more kinky or something I dunno but do tend to watch more anal stuff these days. Older women having anal is hot and its a shame this site doesn't have more.

Yeah glad I didn't join now, I had thought there maybe wouldn't be an awful lot of hardcore stuff and looks as though I was right. Its certainly a market that isn't very populated, maybe its because older women are more likely to be married and don't want to have sex on camera so stick to solo work. Still the site obviously has its fans who love photos, me I went away from photos a few years back and very rarely these days look at any of my old photo material. Too many great vids I haven't the time for pics anymore.

I think they lost their way, Pat. It was a very good soft (mid) core site until some of their subscribers started to clamour for hardcore content. There are many of us who heartily dislike hardcore in a picture site. I dislike it so much that any picture set or video that was HC got an automatic 2 from me out of pure resentment.
I have no problem with hardcore in other places, I subscribe to VB as well as RK (thank God not for much longer) because that's what THEY are all about. However in a photography site I look for solo models.
My biggest disappointment is actually the same as yours: I have the feeling that by attempting to please everyone they no longer know what they want to be. In the olden days it was one of a handful of favorite sites for me. Mature solo models, mostly clad in nice lingerie, who could ask for anything more .. but those days have gone for good.
Nice review, btw. We just disagree on HC!
