I guess it's a drawback in giving such a detailed rundown of a site, that it will go out of date much faster.
There are now well over 4x as many videos (newest ones in Full HD), the recurring membership price has dropped significantly. (You can also buy almost all the videos individually without joining but the cost there is restricted by Clips4Sale's minimum price per minute). SGC is also billed via Verotel as well as CCBill.
There are a few other improvements and additions but I'll leave that up to a review to tell everyone - I don't want to get accused of writing my own review!

That's not exactly what I said. I am trying to persuade new members to go for a recurring membership (it's a MUCH better deal). I'm trying to encourage people away from signing up 2 or 3 times per year so those on recurring memberships miss out. All the videos remain available in the members area in lower quality (currently 720x576) - it's only the highest quality version which is removed after a couple of months.
With the current setup members who maintain a continuous membership get more benefits than those who only sign up occasionally. It works better, it's better for the site and it's fairer for recurring members.
To answer your review point, so far I have only linked to reviews by those are employed to do so. If I start linking to every amateur review or summary out there opens up a lot of work for me and risks as they are often not regulated to the same high level. Having said that I do need to get a lot of reviews updated and update my reviews page accordingly.
I have linked to the SGC review on TheBestPorn.com and I believe that your view is visible/accessible there?

I took a quick look through his clips for sale store.
It seems to be the currently available videos from the member site.
Older archive ( lower quality stuff ) He makes available from time to time on DVD. He usually posts on the KeepItNice Forum when they become available. There is a newer blog site too, which there are links to from the forum.
Not being a video enthusiast I don't know a lot about them TBH. :0/
To answer your original question.

I can't give you a definitive answer on that.
Current updates are of a decent quality.
The webmaster does have a habit of re-issuing older albeit exclusive material in differing formats. Usually they are sold as a DVD.
I think he has started out with a clips for sale store too,
Best would be to have a mooch around the non-member area & maybe drop him an email.

I would have preferred better videos myself, mbaya, a more competitive site would have at least 720p movies available, so I am practically forcing myself to like the more antiquated format because the material comes so close to what I am looking for. :-(

Each set and video is thumbnailed to show what is on the site.
Each model is listed with the sets/videos she appears in.
The Members area is a copy but with the full content viewable/downloadable.

i wasn`t member of only tease before, therfore i idon`t know. but as i can see in the preview video, there is mostly non nude and no mastrubating. therfore suburban shows more then only tease. you got closeups as well as zoomed out scenes. hope that helped :)

The easiest way to know when a file on a web server was last modified is with a javascript bookmarklet. Search for "javascript lastModified bookmarklet" and you'll find it easily.
It often gets fooled because some servers send the current date but, in cases like this, it's quite handy: I cannot be a 100% sure the site hasn't updated in 6 months without joining it but, since the picture of the last update on the home page was uploaded in June 2008, I draw my own conclusions.

Unless you could be sure to download the site contents in a 3-day trial, you might as well pay the extra $5 for a full month.
But since the site is apparently not updating since June 2008, based on atrapat's reply, and since the site has never been reviewed at PU, I would not pay to join this site.

Needless to say the date in a huge font at the home page is not the date of the last update but today's one.
Looking at the web server headers, the update at the top goes back at least to June 2008. The site most likely hasn't updated in the last 6 months.

$14.95 for a 3 day trial, no hottness is worth that to me. Just outta principle I wouldn't support a site that charged such an outrageous fee. $10-12 for a week well maybe then since I could get most of the stuff I would want by then. But 3 days is nuts.

When I first read your comment I thought that you must have made a mistake. Maybe you misread the price or maybe you got sent to a special link where the site sends people it doesn’t like. But I checked and, sure enough, you’re right. I even checked an affiliate site that offers discounts and lists Swallow salon as being available for $18 but when you go to redeem that discount the price is $32.
I was an early subscriber to this site and have been a regular subscriber ever since, having been a member approximately 10 times now. I’ve never had a recurring membership though.
Objectively and subjectively I’ve always found the site to be a bit overpriced and this new price makes that even worse. As you know, it’s an oral-only site and those tend to be cheaper to reflect the lower costs of shooting those scenes. Let’s face it, it makes sense that female talent is paid more to do a double anal scene than a blowjob scene. The set is just a gauzy cloth with backlighting set up in the same house where they shoot Amateur Allure. That adds no costs.
Subjectively, while I like this site I also find it repetitive. I also don’t like that the women usually stay clothed. The site really has a narrow focus on the woman’s face as she gives head and then swallows.
I can’t help but contrast this with another site though I realize this is an apples-to-oranges comparison. A unique site, in the true meaning of that word, is Hookup Hotshot. Yes, the same set is used in almost all of the scenes and it’s just the site-owner’s house. But these scenes feature a lot of unusual sexual activity and I’m certain that the female talent get paid handsomely to do these scenes. But even though the HUHS scenes have to be substantially more to shoot than the SS ones you can get a HUHS membership for $19. (Admittedly, there are some download restrictions for the first few months.) The site owner regularly offers discount memberships though. I have a recurring $10 monthly membership and will keep that as long as it lasts.
This brings me to my hypothesis that Swallow Salon is in a death spiral. The site is a bit dull and a lot repetitive. (I’m okay with repetitive if I like what’s repeated.) I suspect that they just aren’t getting the subscriber base they were hoping for and that requires them to raise the price to cover the costs. But that starts a death spiral where the higher price keeps customers away, which means the price needs to go up again, and so on until the site folds. I’m just an armchair porn producer, but it seems to me that a better recipe to try is to change the schtick a bit and LOWER the price to drive memberships. I don’t know that this is true but I suspect it is: I suspect that HUHS makes a TON of money every month even though their scenes cost more to make and they have a lot of members with $10 memberships because the site has a large subscriber base.
I really was hoping you were wrong though…
