I agree with a lot that you said, particularly in regard to the videos. However, I wonder if you looked into the Gravure photo section and archives? Most of the sets there are glamour/softcore, and of prime, top-notch quality. There is also a way-softcore section featuring bikinis and such, called "Buru Buru" if memory serves. The amateur section as well as the Urabon section are HC, although there are plenty of nice solo pics in the amateur sets. (I mention this in response to your list of cons, second one from the top)
I didn't pay much attention to the videos, after a brief infatuation with Maria Ozawa. And I agree there needs to be MUCH more variety in that category, especially since most people will be signing up for the videos.
Otherwise, great review. My initial excitement over this site waned significantly over time, although I still believe the JAV models are the most beautiful creatures on the planet.

Interesting perspective. I've found this site to be among the more varied of the Japanese adult vid sites, given that they have the softcore photo sets and vids as well as the most popular censored adult vids as well as the uncensored stuff.
There are a number of sites that I've seen around that post their stuff in scenes. That seems more like a ripoff to me than a site that posts the entire vids, but then I've never been downloading enough stuff to breach their download limits.
As far as download managers, it was a very helpful customer service guy at this site that first encouraged me to use a download manager when I was having slow downloads.

If you are looking for more Japanese sites, Sex Asian 18 is one you might consider. Site has a number of very attractive models, photosets and videos. They have a daily download limit which was 12 GB at the time I was a member back in July 2009.

Just bear in mind how subjective it all is when it comes to taste in women, and in sites like this in general. I was married to a beautiful, petite Mexican woman for ten years and I will forever be smitten by petite exotics with dark eyes and dark hair.
That being said, there is a wealth of pics and vids here, most of excellent quality. I can't imagine you being too disappointed.

I ended my subscription back in march. I literally had to use a calculator to factor my daily download. It was very annoying. I literally got to a point of "too hell with this site" due to the download limit.

Download limits are a pain, but you get a daily limit of 15 GB. That's a lot of download.
It's your money and your choice, but if you want Maria Ozawa, or high quality vids/photosets of Japanese porn, this is supposed to be one of the best Japanese porn sites around. Expensive, but Japanese porn, and even Japanese non-porn movies and music CDs, are expensive compared to American non-porn movies and music CDs. You buy a music video (non-porn) of some Japanese singer, it can easily cost $40 or more, plus shipping.
But the shipping charge is cheaper than flying to Japan and trying to buy this stuff in person.

Unfortunately this is true with this site and the other better Japanese sites to get dvd's in terms of limitations. However, you will probably only find one other place, SexAsian18, that can compare in size and quality to this site. Plus, that site has a download limit as well (I think it's even lower) and limited use of download managers/accelerators. I can live with it being a huge Japanese AV fan, but I can see people who are just casually trying to get some stuff to be swayed away. I can tell others despite these conditions and limitations, the site does have some great traits and is in the top, if not THE top, place to get Japanese DVD's in the english language (english language site).

Hey. On JapaneseFlashers, is the mosiac only on the men? Just wondering because the preview photos on the main page didn't blur out the women (like the photo of the girl peeing) but it did blur out the penis in a blowjob photo.
Also, did you get a chance to check out all the sites on the network? I visited the preview page for JapaneseMatures and it looked good. Same thing there, no mosaic on the previews and it even showed uncensored hardcore (blowjob, penetration) photos on the preview page.

I updated to show the corrections you pointed out.
I still get 645 vides (almost 650). 15 videos per page; 43 pages of videos. Did I screw that up somehow?
