Chaturbate is by far the best cam site for many aspects, but I don't like it too much for two reasons:
1) it is a token based site and not a private based site
2) too many girls, and you have to spend too many time to find the right one
(my personal opinion, of course - I will write a review also on this site sooner or later)
Live Jasmin, 5/6 years ago, was one of the best cam sites around (quality of the girls and quality of the shows). I think that the decline of sites like Live Jasmin is mainly due to the rising of token based sites like Chaturbate. One time, girls had to do their best to get a private, because it was the only option to get money. Now they can stay in token based sites and get money just to do basic actions (or even nothing) and from many members, so they are not incentivate anymore to get privates and play at their best.

Another vote for Chaturbate here. I still follow a few favourites on MFC, but Chaturbate is a lot better value in that models can set their own rate for privates on Chaturbate, and most are well under the 60 tokens a minute rate on MFC. Also Chaturbate allows couples and to get a hardcore show for 18-30 tokens a minute vs softcore for 60 per minute on MFC is a no-brainer.
I've never had a problem with models stalling or milking for time on either MFC or Chaturbate. The only problem I have really found is when models keep moving the goalposts when it comes to goals in public chats (ie, 2000 until blowjob, then all of a sudden they decide it's 3000 etc).

Hi Jay - From what I've heard iFriends is a legitimate competitor to Live Jasmin. It has many more American performers -- not sure why that is -- but it's also more expensive and a bit sneaky in the way it charges customers. If you're accustomed to LJ's "free chat" area before you commit to paying a fee, you might be surprised that on iFriends, a similar experience begins charging you immediately, and if you opt for a private session, the fees only increase from here. So be careful -- read the very fine print on iFriends before you do anything. Thanks for replying! =)

Thanks! I could probably write instruction manuals if I really understood the technologies, of course. And if the "boss"/editor wouldn't fuck it up later down the line.
If I seem immodest, let me add that writing this review wasn't easy! It took time and was also something of a struggle to deal with that 1000 character limit in the pro's.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, Chaturbate offers much more for much less, it's a no-brainer really. There's a couple of models on MFC I still like and do privates with, but I do take exception to the fact the most they can do is ride a dildo yet it is more expensive per minute than any of my favourites on Chaturbate.
I think it's so weird MFC launched YouCam (?) a year ago, which is an even-more softcore-version of their site. It seems they really misjudged the mood on that one because (genuinely) the most models I've ever seen online there has been two-or-three - I just checked and despite 1100 models being online on MFC, there's not a single model online.

The cheapest such board I've come across is ecstasycams. It's £198 for 500 minutes, or about 56 cents per minute, significantly cheaper than the well-known sites. However, you have to buy 500 minutes to get that price. I'm an occasional user and $100 ends up lasting for a few months. Beware of their advertising though - they're not consistent with using dollars and pounds. They advertise 39 cents a minute which is false. Still, that's cheap.
It's a different set up than other boards and the women are generally not as hot. The rooms are not necessarily private either. However, there are definitely hotties to be found.

I absolutely agree that there are good and bad. I also go to chaturbate as well and have had a similar occurrence. The Chaturbate staff, although not perfect are usual good at refunding your tokens for a model who lollygags and then has technical difficulties out of the blue. Im usual pretty easy going and have had less than satisfactory private shows but the model at least did a portion of what I asked I never complained on them just made it a point to never go private with them again. In this instant the model said she could do what I asked for took her sweet merry time and then said she could not perform as I asked. I tipped her quite a bit in the public room yet I never asked for those tips back on the private show which ran me 455. Honestly I don't know if Myfreecams will ever respond to me but they will not be around long if they treat paying customers this way

My porn budget is far less than yours.
40 years ago, or more, I went to a few strip clubs. But even then I didn't have much money to spend on them.
But I'm guessing, and I've said it in a few comments at PU, that chat rooms can be just as expensive as strip clubs.
More private, of course.
But one reason I don't like strip clubs, is I don't drink a lot of alcohol.
For one thing, it's expensive.
For another, it often gives me a headache.
For another, my alcohol tolerance is low: I take one drink, and I start to feel sleepy. Not high, just tired and want to lay down.
If alcohol made me happy, I would drink more.
But I can buy a six-pack of beer and have it last for months.
But if you can find some chat rooms that give you pleasure, and have the extra cash, then more power to you.
Smell the rose buds while you can.
Grab whatever pleasures you can find in this life.
(Hopefully, while not hurting others.)

Come on, what 'bluebawa' said, sounds like acting like a jerk and is totally boring. I mean you want to talk with the girls and have fun with them, therefor you have to spend some money. You can really lose a lot of money there, so you have to be careful that it wont be to much than you can efford. But thats why we have a job and earn money, so we can spend some of this. If you don't have money then you shouldn't be on such sites.

MFC has shortcomings but they are constantly making small (or, like in this case, huge) improvements to the site. I even remember once an Admin coming to the Lounge and asking members about how they should implement a particular feature. On the other hand, I've never received a reply from their tech support the 2-3 times I've sent a request.
I wouldn't count out having that kind of SF-like record keeping capabilities in real life. Take a look at Google's Project Glass.

Totally agree with your input. As for models sitting there and waiting for privates, keep in mind that many don't only wait for privates on MyFreeCams but also on other sites they are online at the same time.
It seems that MyFreeCams used to have an "away private" mode that the model activated when she was doing a private on another site so MyFreeCams members could spy for a low fee. MyFreeCams wiki says that the option was removed because it hurt camscore and didn't produce much tokens.

Camscore certainly appears to have a lot to do with tokens received. I'm just surprised that Eve Angel doesn't seem to use her existing popularity to get people to tip her while other models manage to amass tokens from day one despite having zero popularity to begin with.
As you said in another comment, this site seems to be a lot about being entertaining in public and the interaction with the members. Eve Angel would probably benefit from taking a look at how other models manage their rooms.

It's worth noting that her "camscore" (a measure of a model's popularity on MyFreeCams) is not as high as you would expect from a popular adult model. This means she's almost on the second page and it's hard to find her for unaware users.

Found a second beautiful girl who flirted back and forth doing whatever I asked (take off your glasses and let your face get naked, spank your butt, get naked, play with yourself, etc) until I had exhausted my tokens again (I only had about 172 to begin with, so all this great show cost was $17.20). I have one current favorite on MFC from the Ukraine. Her name is xx_vic_xx, but be warned - she's not for everyone. She barely ever shows her body and seems to really just want to do chats on her own basis. She's wonderful, but you really don't get much T&A from here.

I have in fact discovered myfreecams since my favorite from naughtywebcams is also on there, so I'm familiar with it by now. The image size and image quality is greater on naughtywebcams but the girls make less on there.
