It sure set some things in perspective, thanks...
Still: I have great and crisp clips in 640x480 in much better screen-quality than what I've found untill now at VB...
(Don't know if it's the same kind of line af Pix And Video: The videos at the website are/were not great in quality - I found some of the same clips ripped- I thnik, it's called - from one of their DVDs and put on the "net" - what a difference in quality)

Hey,
I use GetRight 6.3 (http://www.getright.com).
Unfortunately it's not free, but does have a 30-day trial so you could give it a go. I think the problem you're referring to is something that has happened to me on occasion. If I've queued up a list of downloads in GetRight, sometimes a random few will fail. Simply pausing and resuming them under GetRight solves the problem and they download fine - it happens rarely though.
Give GetRight a trial, failing that you could try FlashGet (also free) - http://www.flashget.com/index_en.htm

Thanks for putting me straight on that one, exotics. I got biller and seller mixed up on that one. Because I had problems with Bang Brothers in the past and now had problems with them currently I somehow figured it was a biller of their own making. My apologies!

Hi exotics. Just had a chat with ECHST.NET because they kept billing me even though I had cancelled my subscription. The outcome was unsatisfactory, I accepted the loss of the August charge and kept my unwanted subscription for this month. I kept a copy of the chat just in case there will be another charge next month. Sure looks like Bang Bros. practices.

Hi exotics, good to see you, too. I wish I had known that Bang.com and Bang Bros. had nothing to do with each other.
My intention was to subscribe to Videosz indefinitely because the price was right and I always preferred it to Videobox but when I got a full screen of Bang when I first signed in, my heart must have skipped a beat, because Bang Bros. billing practices had been so unethical in the past. Using their site was like going through a mine field. Click the wrong scene and you found you had subscribed to an unwanted site. Billing itself was horrible.
So, coward that I am, I sent a hasty cancel - cancel - cancel message. It took three emails before someone finally admitted: Okay, you will not be rebilled!
Finding a way to cancel was hard as well, I had to do it through FAQs then had my choice of five, or so, billers. Since I had not been notified by any of the known and reputable billers that I was now a member I clicked on echst.net and, bingo, here I was complete with subscription number. Why they don't send an acknowledgement I will never know.
Because of Bang's bad name (unjustified in this case) and because they had not sent said acknowledgment, I got above mentioned cold feet and bombarded them with email until I had my cancellation safely in my files! :-) I might look up Epoch or CCBill to see if I can re-subscribe through them since Bang Bros. is not Bang.com

Just wanted to add that they do have daily download limits :( and the lowest seen resolution can be below 540p. They have older videos where 360p is your best option.

This is an excellent review. Thanks for posting it. I appreciate the level of detail and that you kept your comments objective. I don’t find reviews to be particularly informative if all they say is “I don’t like this site.” I need to know why a reviewer does or doesn’t like a site (or parts of it) because that is often subjective and I may not share those same thoughts. I’d like to think that I could write an objective review of a site that I had zero interest in and still do it well by explaining the pros and cons of the site objectively. That’s what you’ve done here.
The comparison to Videobox is easy to make because they are so much alike. I’m into a VB membership now and based on your review I plan to join Videosz later this week so it’ll be a great opportunity for a comparison.
I’m really glad to hear that Videosz has dropped adding five DVDs per day. I wish VB would do that as well because the current model trades quality for quantity. If sites like Videosz and Videobox want to draw paying customers away from the tube sites they need to offer something that the tube sites don’t and that could be quality.
I’ll be joining Videosz later this week based on your review.

Hey Exotics, not trying to bust you on your score for this one. Just stating my preferences is all. I probably have some scores that are too high/low for others too. I like your idea about the forum post as I've found some members who do a decent job of writing reviews but consistently score too high in my book. When I give them trust ratings I usually note that as part of my comment.
As for the complete sets thing, I think the "completeness" of a set depends on his contract or at least that is my guess. If he's doing a shoot for, say, Teen Dreams he'll probably give out the full set. With his own material, my guess is that he reserves some of the content he leases out to others for his own site.

I'd agree that Viv's site is more focused on the pics but, like the other reply noted, I don't understand why he doesn't go larger. A lot of Viv's stuff also appears on other sites like ATKgalleria, Twistys, Sexy-babes and other mega-sites which means if other PU users have been there they've probably seen a lot of his material already. I would note that Viv doesn't seem to release full photo sets to some of these sites so you'll probably find the complete sets at his site. For my money, Viv would have to boost his video quantity and quality to score in the 90's but as a picture lover his site is still pretty good.

I'd definitely recommend this site for someone who's never joined. Last I looked they had an even cheaper 7-day price. While it isn't always true, Viv Thomas's stuff tends to give a good emphasis on ass. There are treasures to be found here of Eve Angel, Mia Stone, Sandy (Zsanett Ergerhazi), and LOTS more.
I remember the first time I joined (back when 1280px was something to hoot and howl over) and I was like "Wow, fucking WOW!"
Now, I'm almost totally burned out on the 1280px limit there. He actually had a small number of sets that were, I think 1600px (of Kristina Banks, for instance). And they'd had a poll asking what the max pic size should be. This was maybe last year (?). 1600px was one of the choices.
Anyway, plus ca shittin' change. I wish they'd at least go to 1600px! But nooooo ...
And about licensing, some of the fairly newer content is showing up elsewhere, too, of Trisha Brill, Vendula, Zara and others at Europornstars and in at least 2500px.

Quality review, exotics. Just wanted to mention that there is still no HD video - in case anyone was wondering.
I might score the site a little lower as I find some of the models have overdone makeup (Like the Susana and Sonia Red sets), but that is more of a preference I suppose. You are definitely right that this site has some of the best, if not the best lesbian scenes around.
Oh and download managers work on this site, I always find that useful to know.

I'm sorry to hear about Viv jacking up the price. His photography is always good but, like you, I can't see paying over $30 a month for the vids. I've been personally wondering if he is sort of easing back a bit and trying to maximize the cash flow. I hope this isn't the case but, like some of the porn gurus who've came around before the internet age, I think he's never really caught up with the cyber world. His site(s) could be much better than what they are.

Interesting review.
Any porn fan of a certain age remembers Vivid. For a while they were probably the leading studio. I saw lots of their stuff. My memory is a bit hazy but I suspect that I lost interest in Vivid when the new-fangled gonzo porn came along. I was instantly hooked on stuff from John Stagliano, Joey Silvera and others who carved out the new niche. I'd even put early Max Hardcore in their. I lost interest in story-based porn after that. (I admit that Stagliano did some story-based stuff too but it was zany and fun to watch. Like Wild Goose Chase. I still have that.)
