Thanks for another review of a mature site, messmer....
Guess like you, I still keep hunting for those overwhelming, great, fabulous sites with fine mature (and mature lingerie) content....It ain't easy - not easy to find the ones with productions where you just say: Wow!!!
Joined the Anilos lately, but...??? Too few, really fines ones here...
Like you, I'm still on the hunt...
Maybe our only solution is going back to those vintage deals, but, boy - why can't someone produce those top-mature-lingerie-ect. sites???
A bit sad.

Seems like you're back on the mature sites, messmer :) Thanks for the review - I've not joined any Ferro sites, although I've been tempted since they have a few nylon-themed ones, I think. But now we are used to some very good sites, it seems a bit much to charge a full $30 for such a basic setup...

I agree with you and maybe the death of Megaupload is part of the reason why. They may have gotten a lot more members since all the Mega guys had to get their porn somewhere and this is probably the least expensive way to do that.
Hopefully they is only temporary because you will get a lot of more pissed off people if this last for a long time.

I have been having the same problem messmer. I mainly use VB2 and it's not even showing up part of the time. Also having to download 5-6 files at one time to get a decent download speed.

Yeah i was talking about rejoining for one month and I think I got my prices mixed up, I probably signed up through the 14.95 e-mail, thought i signed up through here :)
However I still dont think its one of those things that are easy to miss. At least not for me anyways. Ever since i forgot to uncheck a prechecked extra site box and getting charged I look over those sign up sheets twice before I click submit ;)

Yeah that print is tiny, but it isn't like some impossible hidden print that you will only find out about after it shows up charged to your account. Its like the only words on the page so it is kinda hard to miss. But the thing that got me was after i cancelled they asked do i want to take advantage of a "great deal" of 17.95. NOPE! I will just rejoin using PU, better deal :)

I think they tried to do the same thing to me at Reality Kings. When I didn't see the renew price (signed up for $9.99) I immediately canceled.
They'll actually end up making less money off me, since I probably would have let the subscription continue if they would have been honest about it.
With all the piracy going on you'd think these sites would do their utmost to treat customer's fairly. Instead they just perpetuate the problem.

Hi. No Problem. It's good to get straight info from others. To be honest, I have always been supiscious of porn review sites because I always felt they were stacked and bisaed towards certain studios--my opinion is a lot of them really are. It's good to find a place where you can feel confident you are not getting some covert sales pitch or slanted reviews by editors. I wish I would have had straight opinions like this in the past.
Never been into online stuff until recently but mainly was a collector or softcore erotica and photography--Score was one of them. If they write me back with a response to the inquiry, I certainly will post the reply.

I cannot really say for sure if Score HD allows the HD to be downloaded. I would think they would or people would get really upset. I do not have access to that without a subscription so can't check for you. I also do not know how far back in time you can download, but I suspect there are similar date restrictions as can be found at Scoreland.
As far as my review and the comment I added, I agree a lot of people will not like the fact that they don't allow any HD downloads at all at Scoreland. All of the videos on the home page have a HD logo on them and you can indeed stream them in HD. Technically, I cannot call this a fabrication as the movies can be viewd in HD --they just refrain from telling you about the download stuff. There is no statement anywhere when you sign up as to what can or cannot be downloaded. My view is that it is indeed a bit deceptive, however, and I think most will be inclined to see it that way. This will eventually upset people and they won't come back.
To be fair, I think the site should, at minimum, put an asterik next to the HD logo indicating this information. At best, they should include full information in plain view on the signup screen. You will just succeed in upsetting people if they feel like they got deceived, whether or not that was the intent.
I am a bit surprised as, over the years,I have purchased from Score in Miami before--mags and even a couple videos. I had dealings with customer service and they were always helpful and even refunded a purchase once. They never struck me as the kind to play games. As I said before, I will always give the benefit of the doubt unless I have reason to believe otherwise. Without hearing what they have to say, most will conclude this is deceptive.
As far as my opinion, I felt I got what I wanted from the site as I am primarily a photo guy. I mention this in my reviews so people know how to judge my opinions on content. I won't be re-subscribing after my 30 day sub has run out, however. I do like many of the photo sets and others into the genre probably will, as well. However, there is really not a big reason for me to stick around longer. The lack of HD download sealed it. Again, I don't view or DL a lot of video content but I like to do so when something really nice catches my eye.
I did not lower my review score even further as in all honesty, I did enjoy the photo content and felt like I got what I came for in that regards. HD video lovers, however, should definately consider all that has been said on this subject of download limits.

The only thing that might help them is that they were so much more expensive than most other network then they must have accumulated a lot of floating cash which might help them true the lean times. I cannot believe that their overhead cost are more than any other porn company so by default they should have more money. Of course being so expensive may also limit their number of members and therefore that means less money coming in.
I can't say that I'd be sad seeing this network die because I didn't particularly enjoy their content but the fact that people will lose their job tempers my feelings. I don't wish anyone to lose their job. Especially in these economic times.

I know what you mean. Can you imagine how pissed I was after I joined in April 2011 and discovered that what TBP wrote in their February 2011 review was no longer true? The only reason I joined over 40 something mag was becauase I wanted to download their videos and then I find out that most are streaming only....Fuck Me but that sucks.
I hope they have enjoyed that decision because I don't think they have been able to get as many new members and they certainly aren't getting many repeat ones.

I hear you. I joined the full network and downloaded maybe 2 dozen videos and I have none left on file because I deleted them all. I'm actually surprised that they are still in business with such a high costing membership. There are so many better networks with a lower membership cost that are suffering that Ferro should be in dire financial trouble. Just look at teen core club who charges 50$ for their network access and they are in deep trouble at the moment. The number of updates keeps dropping and that's after they stopped updating many of their key sites and added a lot of leased content.
I guess Ferro hasn't finished updating their network because I'm told that they should soon have a search option since this was a common complaint of most of their members.

I have thought about joining many times but there is one negative that stops me. They have a pre checked cross sell. I hate it when sites try to trick you. I am pleased to hear you like this one Messmer, as I am sure it is far better than that other unmentionable site. Since the demise of American Vice, this looks to be the best dvd site available.

Thanks for the review. As much as I'm tempted to try a few of their sites. I got burned when I joined their way too expensive network so that I don't think I'll ever be comfortable giving joining any of their sites.
I read on another forum that they have now added a search option for their network. If yes, then what does it look like?

The domain information for JACSHELP is nothing like PSN, so I doubt they are related http://whois.domaintools.com/jacshelp.com looks like a US based site, but I could be wrong since the site looks like a very similar business.
The breach of contract with the additional billing processors was really what got me. If PSN had billed me using PSNBILLING.COM for what I ordered and what I didn't order instead of creating two additional accounts with sites I had never heard of I should have at least been able to see the additional memberships when I cancelled my account in September. If I had seen them listed along with what I purchased I would have made sure to cancel them along with the other, would not have been billed for four more months, and since my cancellation was before the end of September I would have been able to complain to PSN fast enough to get a full refund for the sites I never used in June, July, or August.

hmm..Interesting. I read the reply from the Customer Service rep in that thread.
Not sure what to make of that. Piracy certainly would be a top concern on my mind if I owned a site. However, the 7 week cutoff seems rather arbitrary. Why 7 and not 12, for instance?
My hunch on this is that the explanation is partially true--my opinion only and not to be taken as fact. There are concerns about piracy, but I also suspect this might just be a good business move in terms of bandwidth. I say this as they do not employ this date restriction with photo gallery downloads. I downloaded galleries from stuff dated way back to 2005. There are no restrictions. I assume pirates will go after the photos as well.
So, my guess is that this limit also serves as a practical bandwidth decision that keeps the server from slowing down with folks downloading older videos.

I don't see anything at Scoreland indicating a limit on downloads. There is no info in the signup screen indicating a limit but it doesn't say 'Unlimited Downloads' either. I do not download much in the way of videos so I didn't even think about this when signing up. If there is a lmit, it's probably snuck in on the fine-print on those user aggreements we always click yes to.
On this subject, something wierd I discovered at XL girls was that some videos did not have a download option at all, while others did. It makes no sense as to why certain videos could not be downloaded. It doesn't appear to be based on when the video was added or any specific content. For instance, a recent XXX action video can be downloaded, whereas a solo video one-month old cannot and vice-versa at places.

I have joined a few times over the past years, and the updates are few and far between. For some reason, they have not included this site among the Aunt Judy's Collection, I suspect because the niche was harder to update. There is some good stuff here, but not much new stuff.
They should offer a price discount, really.

Do you ever have trouble with Media Player Classic Home Cinema requesting updates? I like it as well as I do VLC, mainly because I like the spot zoom feature, but it keeps telling me to update Direct X June 2010 or something like that.
On a past related note, I was messing with VLC the other day and had it open a second window that had full controls while in full screen on the on the other screen. Have no clue had I did it. I remember we talked about that feature before. I haven't tried it lately, in-laws are in for the holidays, but I am thinking I pushed one of the number pad buttons since I was seeing if I could make VLC zoom like Media Player Classic does.
And on the poll, I picked VLC since I use it the most.

As gaypornolover points out, to qualify for the raffle you have to have 5 points. In which case, you'd have a rookie badge.
Then consider that just answering the profile questions earn another badge. Of course, if you respond to 50 polls you earn another badge.
So no, I don't see how someone could earn just one ticket. I took the poll question to mean was the raffle really random .. maybe I'm wrong there. I will say there's no "weighing" from us. Each ticket has an equal chance of winning.
