Good point - although the face is what appeals to me, I guess it's how they use it to salacious effect - so performance is perhaps better. I'm not saying that you don't have a number of different ethnic groups in US and European porn but that the number is pretty small. You are correct that some directors will even showcase a particular ethnic group but have you noticed that some performers are sometimes type cast as an Asian in one movie and then cast as a Latin in a different one.

Hi jberry - I wasn't necessarily referring to erotica when I mentioned reading. In truth, I've never been one for erotic fiction. The only naughty text I've ever enjoyed was "My Secret Garden," an old classic collection of women's fantasies. My older sister had a copy, and I swiped it when I was maybe 14 or 15. It was quite exciting ... introduced me to all sorts of new ideas. ;)

Ever since I got my tablet I've been going crazy downloading Kindle books to it. I didn't think I would ever get used to reading a book this way, after all what can replace that sensuous feeling of holding a new book in your hand .. but I did get used to it quickly. At the moment I have about 8 Alistair MacLean books lined up waiting to be read as well as about twenty Karl May books in German .. books that were my life as a teen ager and that are obtainable for free through Kindle. Audiobooks I cannot get used to. I have tried but my eyes process things better than my ears. When it comes to listening I have ADD! :-)

See my definition of a dumb person or stupid person isn't someone who does one of these things on a rare occasion but someone who knowingly does them once or worse on a regular basis.
I've done a couple of really stupid things in my life but it was only made obvious how stupid they were after the fact and I never did the same thing twice. I learned from my mistake. A good example of a stupid person is someone who watches Jackass and then performs one of the stunt at home. The person on screen is at best an idiot but at least he's getting paid to be an idiot but the person at home doing the stunt is just stupid. A trial recently ended with a guilty verdict for a 17 years old girl because she was driving the car that two of her friends did car surfing on. One of her friends fell off the car and died of her injuries.

Thanks, Jberry, for better clearifing this poll question. You've put it in the very context it belongs.
Having read, so far, how most respondents were wrestling with precisely what the question was really saying, I find, after closer reviewing it, I simply have to join them.
Let me expand on that by saying this: At my age, I've been around the block enough times to where the wear-an-tear has me thinkin' I ought to know just about everthing. I don't, of course, and that's magnified in every sense of the word. A "babe in the woods" might comparatively describe my intellectual station.
But I do recognize intellegence in others, and I know it when I see it in action. And drawing from that, I have to say that very few open entities of communication have impressed me more than what I've observed right here on this site. Books written by the best authors of our day are neatly stacked in my wall-to-wall bookcase, collecting cobwebs as I'm pouring over what Porn User members are saying.
That might appear somewhat of a stretch, but for me, it is what it is. The guys hammering out dialogue on this forum entertains, enlightens, and oftentimes are a sizable more stimulating than much of what's printed between the pages of my newspaper and the likes of magazines I thumb through waiting to see a doctor or get a haircut.
So Lets just settle on what jberry has so astutely awaken me on, or, as most have already done, and that being simply interppert the question to their liking and act on it accordingly.

They're just doing this to cut the cost on the product. The license fees are outrageous sometimes.
Also, many people don't even have a DVD drive anymore. So why pay for more when you won't need it?

Absolutely. This site has moved from the Deep Throat niche to the same grey (or white) area all new scenes in this network fall into.
I'm more and more confused every day by this switch in style by Porn Pros Network. The more I think about it, the less I understand why they keep updating the same sites but with completely different styles or, like in DTL case, betraying their previous history.

I'm totally with you in being disappointed :) I've been a member of Porn Pros Network on and off mostly for this site and only because everything revolved around the deepthroat. I even posted a review here back in 2008.
At least, they keep releasing scenes. Even if there's just a short deep throat segment, it's something. It's highly unlikely those who like Jurassic Cock will get a scene in the new shooting style :)

I suspect that if the situation came up where you needed to defend yourself or your comrades you would have done so without much thought. Then later that night you would have had reality sink in. I am glad for you sake this never became a factor.
Personal defense is different from military engagements. In battles the average firefight has several hundred yards between the opposing sides. Obviously there are close range ambushes and urban warfare, but both of these can include or transition to 400 yard engagements. So there you were likely carrying the M-16 (hopefully M-16A), or perhaps AK-47 depending on where you are from.
In personal defense there are not long range engagements. The fights are very intimate. The "whites of the eyes" hold true for legal personal defense as well. If I am 200 feet away from you and you shoot me, you are going to prison. They will say you could/should have attempted to leave the situation. Now if I am 15 feet away with a gun, or I am thrusting a knife into your liver, you have every right to shoot and to shoot to kill. This situation t a weapon like The Judge becomes an amazing defense powerhouse. A this range, the legal range, it will stop any man in his tracks. The gun is great because it forces you to wait until lethal force becomes legal (potentially). You can not shoot someone 200 feet away with any success using the shot shells, and you also can not accidentally kill a bystander that is 200 feet away. For home defense it is great because it has less wall penetration than a slug would carry.

It's probably because of the new shooting style. Check Passion HD or Porn Pros Network recent comments. All scenes look the same and the differences between sites in the network is little.
It looks like scenes in the new shooting style get added to Deep Throat Love when the model is able to deepthroat but it doesn't mean the scene revolves solely around her abilities as it used to be. Just a regular scene.

Gun were certainly a game changer.
Survival of the fittest had a change in meaning. It became less about physical strength and much more about technological abilities. When the Germans invade Russia, the Russian Red Guard was sent. They are like the current day SEALS, while not the same as the SEALS, their abilities were like comparing a normal current person to a SEAL. These were fighting machines with amazing training. And the were sent after a group of Germans that were old, wore men from the first World War. The Russian Red guard was slaughtered by these old, tired Germans. This fight was not hand to hand, in which case the Guard would have had a dominating victory, no, the Germans had machine guns and simply mowed down the charging Guard force. This is one of my favorite examples of how technology can change the tides of war.
