I'm not familiar with her at all but I did check out two of her scenes just now. She is really hot and sort of reminds me of Veronica Jett, a long-time favorite of mine. I agree that her eyes are captivating. Unfortunately the best available resolution is pretty low, but I'll keep the scenes anyway. Thanks for the tip!

Like you, I have a lot of favorite models who were in the business years ago before video quality was as good as it is now so I'm used to suffering through poor quality too. But if the alternative is deleting the lower-res stuff with the models I like, I'll live with what I have, which is probably what you do too.

So - I went to the Videobox website and found a place where I could give feedback and I pasted my first comment in the comment section.
They responded! with a link to a FAQ page - BUT at the top of that page was a row of buttons that let me view movies/scenes/stars/etc.

Well - I want to thank all of you that have added to this thread. It certainly makes me think I wasn't just shouting into the void.
I was really hoping that the Webmaster for Videobox would see this and try to make some adjustments/ or at least make their own comment.
I find it interesting that "Spencer" has given it the highest marks of any reviewed site on TBP. So sad :(

The inability to preview anything is a big flaw and whoever made that decision at VB should be tarred and feathered. I always used VB as an example of how to make a site user-friendly and allow a prospective customer to see everything that was available. This is bad news.

This seems to be an increasing trend among site whether, like TeenDreams, they are a shadow of the site they used to be, or Videobox, they are a site that is still going strong and has nothing to be ashamed of in letting people see their newest updates.
They ought to go back to letting people see their updates, no doubt about it.

The new site design is your basic "How to screw up a site up 101". How can they hope to get new customers when anyone who's not familiar with the site is unable to see anything and worse is lied to on the only page you can see

That seems to be a fairly new thing because that was not the pages that I used to see when I visited the site and it's definitely not the ones that I still see when I use my Firefox link. I still see the original pages which do allow you to see the current info.
That page is actually a giant mess because it's full of lies and half truths. The perfect is example is if you scroll down to the section where it says "Just Added". They have two movies starring Jayden James. That part is true but these were added at least two years ago since there are comments about those movies that are that old.
I know it's VB and there are tons of reviews so anyone curious about what he or she is getting need only read those but this new marketing idea is a really bad one. If I use my Firefox link then I have to pay 15$ instead of 12$ but I will at least know exactly what I'm getting for that amount and frankly 15$ is a joke because there is just too much content for that amount.

My guess is that's a limitation of the site's software. To offer a discount to our users, some sites need to make the link directly to the sign-up page. It's not how we prefer it (for obvious reasons) but if it's that or no discount for our users, we allow it.
Obviously, if they have a link to take you to add'l info and it's not working, that's something you'll want to let the site know about directly.

I just ran across your thoughts on Throated. About a week before your post, Throated (and all of myXXXpass) got a Gamma 'facelift'. Curious if you decided to renew or not? I've been a member at myXXXpass since early 2013 and am still trying to decide if I like the change.
When you mention the new content is 'not getting very good reviews' are you refering to the internal scene ratings? Or external reviews? One thing I've noticed is that the scene view counts are relatively small for the new 'post-Gamma' content (not a good sign). This suggests scene ratings/votes carry more weight on the newer scenes. I miss the old UI (even though it's the content that counts) - it gave the site a certain uniqueness. I also miss the comments subsystem and the ability to download sub-sections of the scenes.
Scott Hancock was indeed 'The Guy' - hopefully he did a nice clean exit and is enjoying himself.

Brilliant, thank you - Evil Angel is VERY high up on my to-do list. The only thing that has put me off in the past are file sizes as I've never been sure if you can download lower-quality versions as my favourite file-size is around 500mb as HDD space is kind of at a premium until I get a new drive.

Good to know. My opinion has softened a bit since I wrote the comment, and I've found a few great girls on there (loving Riley Reid), but the network only has three videos of her so although I'm sure I can find more of her elsewhere online, it's a shame Throated spread themselves a bit thinly in this respect. I will have a look for the JD thread later :)

The night Joan pulled the plug was one I'd made an excuse for as to why I couldn't escort her to an important function to which we both were associated. I'd made the fatal mistake of rather choosing to go out with a babe I'd just met who was free on that night.
The affixed, burning image I've maintained of the physically super endowments bestowed on this lady I'd turned down on that fateful day, leaves me not surprised that on that same evening and at the same function, she'd meet a well-heeled gentleman who was so smitten with her that (while carrying out business in Atlanta) hardly let her out of his sight ......and who later had her airborne on the way to his home in California.
This news was delivered on the next day when I called her.
All my smooth talk and released anguish, in an effort to revive our relationship never came out ....'cause as painful as it were, even at the expense of going the marriage route, it was clear this guy had all the aces, as well as her heart, and would give her a better life.
Being the bright gal that she is......she innately read all this in my voice. Her reply: "Gee, hon, if you'd only showed me you cared enough."
That brings up my own thought on the matter: "if only I had gone with her as she'd asked?

jberryl69, in some of my reviews I tend to ramble, but your comment goes all over the place.
I read Tarzan when I was an early teen, and I don't remember Jane being raped. And I'm sure (because ERB was writing in a different climate than the current one) that Jane was utterly pure when she married Tarzan. Tarzan might have kissed her before marriage, but even though they were both living together in the jungle before they were married, there was absolutely no hanky-panky going on. Not like modern times.
Your comment reminds me that I enjoyed Tarzan and also John Carter of Mars when I was much younger. I will try to read some of them again, to see if I can still find pleasure in reading them today, or if my tastes (and ideas) have changed too much.

I enjoyed the discussion. Those who call you to task on PC words are showing their power. You really find this in Universities where "everyone is equal, but some are more equal than others."
And I'll bet they still call those women who work for them by first names (Jill, Jane. Mary) while insisting they themselves be called by their title (Doctor Robins, Professor Noble, Dean Smith).

In the real world (not politically correct) where I live, words are used differently. "Girl" is associated with someone young, free, and independent and woman has a more mature, settled implication. But words do have different meanings in different places and cultures and times. Even politically correct women will be caught using the term "girl" for other women when they're not being careful.
People will always try to control the use of words as the conquering Normans were able to do after 1066 in England when Anglo-Saxon words (fuck, shit, cunt,etc) became "obscene" and Latin or French words (coitus, defecation, vagina) for the same thing were considered socially acceptable.
Whoever has power always tries to control language (and usually fails).

Yes, I signed up for the MerArt newsletter earlier this year, after belonging to MetArt many times over the years.
The thumbnails in the newsletter are easy to see. And clicking on a thumbnail brings up a sample gallery of the model's photosets, with nice sized thumbnails.
Clicking on any thumbnail in the sample gallery brings up a 1/3 full-sized photo of the thumbnail. Which is easier to use than the slideshow display for viewing galleries at MetArt.
Even though I am currently a MetArt member, I sometimes use the newsletter thumbnail system to look for new models.
