I agree with messmer - a site with wretched material, repetitive content, and that admittedly needs shaking up, doesn't warrant a 95. They may be best in their genre or niche, but that's a sad commentary on the state of porn these days. I was also a big AW fan and, like messmer, I'm not going back til I see some of the changes they said were in the works last year. From what I've seen on the forums, it's still pretty boring.

I agree with all your cons, therefore cannot understand the extremely high rating. I am fond of AW, it was the first site I subscribed to, but wouldn't go back until they change their style.

Having been a member there a few times, I understand your frustration.
IMO it does need to get out of its rut a bit.
What I found particularly frustrating is the poor 'artsy' high contrast lighting of most of the sets. Often it is so extreme as to lose the detail.
On the issue of striptease, there is a thread I posted in the forum which makes interesting reading.
