I was a big fan of the site but on December 29, 2005 - a date which will live in infamy - the model known as Jacie suddenly and deliberately appeared at femjoy.com FULLY CLOTHED. Since that date the site has shown many models clothed and/or semi-clothed.

There are sets in which there is stripping, and there are sets in which the birthday suit is featured from 001.jpg. I'd say there is a fair amount of galleries with stripping in them. It certainly is not true that there is no stripping.

Hi Capn,
We run the site and this question has been asked by a couple of users recently.
Some of the "fights" do end in nudity of either one of the girls or both, normally with the underwear being ripped or pulled off.
We have done several scenes recentaly and if you email me directly (support@s-a-web.com ) I will send you some sample stills of upcoming videos that do feature nuity.

Aha, thanks for the info, Cap'n - I haven't joined the site since the new photographer started.
I actually quite like the style I see on the previews - but it is a little more glam/mainstream. If the previous photographer is no longer featuring, I think it's a shame not to have the two different styles - there was a more relaxed, natural charm to it.

You haven't seen what we have yet Cap'n, but here's the scoop. For the four years we're online, I've heard a clamoring for video. The models who want to do it, want to do it with us. Lily, one of the original FigureBaby models, shoots video and does it very well. You'll see them soon, but with both of us shooting video, we have a wealth of content we've not yet tapped, and we'd like to share it. As far as a clamoring for more, I doubt it. I think you speak for most of our audience who like us for our silly and unpolished style. Let me go on record here and now with a promise to our fans. There will never be hardcore on FigureBaby. End of story. I don't like hardcore. Our inspiration is pinup pictures and stag reels, not hardcore. And I'm not keen on seeing sex toys either, so they don't fit our current vibe and we will continue to marginalize them.
One thing to remember is I'm also a fan of the genre, like you. I look at some mainstream sites that have nice photography and wonder why the videos all have toys, little interaction with the camera, and models who are acting just a little too hard. Not that there isn't an audience for that, there's a huge audience for it, but there is a big missing piece between the nude pictures and the masturbation video. Where are the striptease videos? I want to share quality tease videos, and if they lead to the model enjoying herself just a little more than we would ask, I think that's OK. Obviously you'll have to decide if we got it right once it starts getting posted, but I don't think you'll be disappointed. I think everyone else (mainstream porn audience) will be disappointed, but FigureBaby is not for them. It's for us.

From what i have heard i agree with you Cap'n, and when i said harder i didn't mean more hardcore stuff but more up front nudity, maybe a few close ups... not dildos, lesbian sex ect... Looking back now i used the wrong word.
That's why FB is one of my favorites because it reflects that pin up style and i hope it doesn't change much (especially the price !) but in some earlier sets i think it could have been more risky or even a little more up front. Like you said though it's maturing and i have noticed in its sets that they are getting to be more to my liking. We will have to see what direction the site goes to in the future but as of right now, not complaining too much !

Why do people join a softcore photography site and then start demanding masturbation videos....i'll never understand that. I don't go to their double penetration ass fucking sites and start demanding softcore glamour nude art photography so why can't they just stick to their own sites and leave the ones we like alone.....and we are expected to pay more in the future to cover the increased bandwidth cost of those demanding videos no doubt.

I know many people look to us for photography, and to that end we are committed as ever to keeping our 3 photo set updates a week. Which is why we decided to increase updates from 3 to 5, which means we can post our video without taking away from the updates our photo focused customers have come to expect. We're not changing what we do. We're just doing more of it.

Agree, Capn - was a member here a few months ago and will likely join again at some point to catch up.
Some of the sets didn't quite work for me, but it's good to see a photographer's site evolve as their technique improves; more recent sets are definitely better. I found the same at Breath Takers, where sets from maybe 2-3 years ago were good, but didn't quite have the atmosphere of the more recent ones.
The site design/layout at FB is exemplary, too.

And apologies to the fine folk at FB for me just not getting the studio nude shoot concept; I think it's quite demanding of all involved - the model, the photographer, the lighting.
And then, even given the best models, equipment and expertise - not to mention pixel count - that money can buy, they can still be a bit boring - as Hegre Art seems to keep demonstrating to us. (So apologies too to Mr Hegre, for missing the point!)

I checked the servers and they are running OK. We have plenty of bandwidth and no download limits. Tests seem to indicate things working well, but it might be something on the route that is slowing stuff down. Please let us know if the problem continues. We want people to download as much as they want, so if the problem remains we'll have to see if there is something not optimized.

Thanks for the speedy reply, Cap'n! I don't mind a start from lingerie. Both of us prefer start from fully clothed but I would have happily put up with the lack of outerwear if they had had more sets containing you-know-what! :-)
