Yeah, I agree that they use too much make-up - but it's a fairly flat look, which is a hell of a lot more natural than the Kabuki blurring shit that Twisty's has been doing to their models in their exclusive sets. I'm fucking furious about the shitty-ass shoots that Twisty's posted of Andie Valentino. I thought it was the photo shopping, but they claimed that it was the make-up and lighting - whatever it was, they must have thought she was the homeliest woman in the world, the way they covered her gorgeous face all up - pissed me off!

Would Vivid still exist if it weren't for the cable market? I rather doubt it. The director that was actually talented (Robbie D) went to work for Digital Playground and Vivid was left to try to cash in on the alt-porn thing - talk about Morbid - Ucccccchhhhh!!
Still the last time I had a one-month membership I thought that they had made some significant improvements to the site - larger, save-able pics and better-looking streaming vid than when I had a trial membership previously.
Still, Vivid's main skill has always been that no company has ever been better at wasting opportunities than Vivid has. They have had many of the hottest women ever to have done porn as their contract stars, including Chasey Lain, Racquel Darrian, Asia Carrera, Kobe Tai, Lanny Barbie, Jenteal, Sunny Leone and they have not done shit with them as compared to what would have been possible if they were contract stars for a company with some imagination.

Hunting around the internet, I found that there was a link that Rabbit Reviews had to Teen Dreams with a $17.95/month offer. I clicked on that to get to the site and there was the $17.95/month offer, so I joined up.

I remember being turned onto this site when it was called "Brutal Violence" - that's putting it out there. I've never been a member, so I've only seen clips here and there. I checked out the quality the new streaming HD vid in the high speed choice - ucccchh! Blurry crap. I downloaded the vid and played it on Windows Media Player - looks good. Unfortunately I don't really like their vids, but it looked good. So far the streaming HD vid on their site is not a winner.

The newest thing in the e-mail is that they will be offering streaming HD in addition to the downloadable HD that they have been offering, then say that they'll be offering 15 vids a month, so we should be expecting to see them every other day. So far this month, they have posted 12 new vids - with a 3rd of the month left.

Customer Service is a big issue with me. I decided to try this site, given the high praise it has been earning from members of this forum. I'm pretty impressed. I'm at least as much of a pics guy as I am a vid guy. Most sites fall off on one or the other. This site is definitely a vid site, but their pics are very nice and voluminous.
But back to my original point. I experienced log-in problems this morning and e-mailed Brazzers' support e-mail. I received a response in mere minutes!
I had an issue with a Watch4Beauty-related site at the end of November. I STILL haven't received ANY response from them more than 6 weeks later - even after one of their other employees tried to step in to help.
So, when it comes to Customer Service, I give Brazzers an A+++ and Watch4Beauty an F---

I agree with what's been said that there is plenty of both real amateurs - girls that photographers find on the street or in shopping malls, beaches, etc or who answer ads and they haven't modeled before - and faux amateurs. Any sites - and there are plenty - that refer to Sandy Summers or Jana Foxy as amateurs are just playing with the whole idea of what it means to be an amateur. I've got a bait-and-switch complaint about this site. When I joined, they said - on the confirmation of my joining - that "for the life of my membership", I could get 40% discount on all of their related sites, including Watch 4 Beauty. Then a couple of months later, Watch 4 Beauty, decided to include this site in their membership and withdrew the discount. I e-mailed them about this - several times - and received absolutely no response.
They've got some very juicy content, but I refuse to spend any more money on sites that not only have questionable business practices, but don't even have the courtesy to respond to e-mails from their members.

Just a point or two for accuracy:
1) Alex isn't gay. He's married, has a couple of kids. I got the same impression that you had from his voice originally, but this is the story. He doen't think his voice is all that good either, but talks to get the most out of the models and the best shoots. For my tastes, he achieves that.
2) Their vid releases are clearly labeled as to whether they are photoshoots or not. The ones that are not only have Alex talking for a few seconds at the beginning at most - maybe he'll say "Hi" to the model and get her to tell us what she's going to do in the vid. Many of them, if the model is confident enough to talk to the camera, especially, he won't even do that. Looking at the last 10 vid releases, 60% have been non-photo shoot vids, so the amount of talking that Alex would have been doing in those would have been slim or none.
Alex's stated view is that he does the photoshoot vids more so that people can see what goes on in a real photoshoot than as stroke material. He's into that "educational" role of the site. One of my very favorite bonuses in the past year was a huge vid package showing a shoot in Czech from the time the crew woke up in the morning until they went back to their hotel at night. Given that the crew included Nella and Amber Rayne, both of whom were hotter than the models in the shoots, I was thoroughly entertained.
