Have you checked the total # of scenes available as compared to the # referred to in the 9/2020 PU review? That's how I was able to verify the deletions of scenes in the MindGeek sites by comparing total # of scenes to reviews I found a number of months prior in PU or TBP. The most recent TBP review was just a couple of weeks ago, but comparing to the 9/20 PU review should tell you something.

update on the deletion/replacement of scenes. I went to check out Jenna Haze scenes on Digital Playground today. The site shows 4 scenes for Jenna, when I know she had done much more than that for DP. Nurses is gone. Fly Girls is gone. All of the Control DVD's are gone. Almost all of the Jack's series - Jack's POV, Jack's Teen America, Jack's Playground - are gone. Basically if you want most of DP's material these days, your choices are to buy the DVD's or look for the scenes on some unofficial site, since their official site no longer has them. They have filled in the site with some additional material - some of it, older Brazzers material. I reported 1300+ scenes at the end of January. They currently have 1882 scenes, though they continue to update at the rate of 1 scene per week.

MUCH more than 1/2 the site was deleted in the past TWO MONTHs. I did a review of this site on Nov 2, 2020 and I reported 4,278 scenes on the site. The site currently shows 1,340 scenes. So they have deleted almost 3,000 scenes from the site. I've got this site as an add-on so I've got no reason to go anywhere. But I wouldn't recommend joining this site to anyone sane. This is the same bull-shit that I reported them having done with Twisty's and with Babes.com.

I just checked a couple of the newest videos - their lower res being offered is 1080 on their newest videos, so perhaps it's beyond the capabilities of your computer. The other possibility is that it's the video player that you're using. I use VLC Media Player, which I find to be very stable. If you're not using that player, you may want to give it a try and see if that helps before you give up on the site or your computer. It's definitely not an issue with the site. I have never experienced any problems playing back any of their videos.

I'm sure I won't be answering all your questions, but I've got a lot of experience with add-on sites. They can be a good deal, but only if you have a good enough deal on the main site - the one that you're adding onto - that you plan on staying there for a long period of time.
Add-on's only last as long as your membership to the main site - the one that you added onto - continues. So if you add onto Evil Angel, and then let your EA membership lapse, that's it for the add-on(s), they're gone. if you resubscribe to EA a month later, that's going to be a completely new membership and will not retrieve the add-on that you lost by having your EA membership lapse.
Adult Time is NOT part of the basic EA membership, though they went in together on that I Am Riley Reid DVD, and there are a few EA scenes on Adult Time. As the OP wrote, Adult Time is available as an add-on and as I wrote, the add-on would ONLY continue to be available so long as your membership to EA continued.

I would say that there is more of that on this site than there is on Hegre. I've been a member of Hegre, and I'm tempted to join again, but when it comes to their videos, they frustrate the hell out of me. They want to be so many different things that get in the way of enjoying the women - they want to be travelogues, they want to be photography instructional videos, etc. W4B has a high degree of artiness, but they know what they want to be and what they want is to show off the models to the best of their ability. And that's what they do.

Considering how much Team Skeet is pushing that annual full-network deal, there must be takers. There are other crazy expensive deals around the internet these days - I've considered joining Little Caprice's site, given how hot she is - far beyond what I would pay. Putri Cinta, another one of the hottest adult models around - models for Hegre, W4B, Playboy Plus, etc - has her own site, which has a superfan option that is $90/month. Sara Underwood's patreon is similarly priced.

I'll review what I want to review as a member who knows what's inside the site. It's totally up to you to use your own judgement as to what sites you want to join. The whole idea of this site is to help people know what's actually in the sites from people that are/have experienced them.

It was Joey Silvera's incredible photography & choice of models that taught me that I was hot for some TS models, which was a surprise to me, because for some time, whenever I would check out a forum that had a "hottest TS models" thread, I would always think, "guy in drag". Then I saw a scene that Joey shot with Melzinha Bonekhina and I was like, "holy fuck! That is one incredibly sexy human being!" and I've continued to be fascinated ever since. Unfortunately, Melzinha herself did very few scenes, but these days you've got Daisy Taylor & Khloe Kay & a whole lot of Asian ladyboys that are truly scrumptious. EA's TS material is truly the tip of the iceberg. Grooby is the company that has been doing TS material the longest with umpteen sites that have their own particular focus.

That Grooby Asian T-Girl site that includes Ladyboy-Ladyboy & Ladyboy.xxx has a prettier collection of models, for my taste, than Ladyboy Gold, though it's almost all solo stuff. Ladyboy Gold has the largest collection of ladyboys with men available, with lots of updates.
EA is doing a lot of TS with women. Joey Silvera has shot a lot of that material, though it's not the sole focus as it is with this site.
Kink.com has the dilemma of being based in SF, which is among the most careful places in the country. When will they be able to resume production? I wouldn't take a bet on it happening any time soon. I would say post-vaccine, whenever that is.

a) every porn company has the right to determine it's own business model, b) these business models often change by month - if you don't like what they're doing in September, check again in October - these days it wouldn't be surprising to see things change in terms of what you have to pay for d/l's, c) these days screen capture software comes as an included tool in every pc with the latest MicroSoft OS, so whether or not a site is allowing d/'s, you can certainly record a video for your personal use as it's playing on your pc - or just record the parts you want to record, so you're not filling up your storage with stuff you're not likely to watch again d) piracy - as in posting a site's content in forums or other places without their permission is still fucked up and whatever a site's business model happens to be, and whether that site is being clear or not, it's still on you as to whether you're being an asshole and forcing a site to raise their prices to survive. e) one can't reasonably complain about the rate of updates at Adult Time - 10 on the 7th, 11 on the 6th, 14 on the 5th, etc - far higher than any other site I can think of these days.

It's kind of like when you see pre-code movies from the early 1930's - the violence, the darkness, the blunt language, the sexual innuendo, the roles that women played - it's shocking when you see what was going on before the movie industry was leashed - and it's the same with porn of that early era - and the fact that it was all being played in movie theaters across the country is even more mind-blowing.
I think the thing about Water Power is that it didn't seem to be a film that was made to shock people, like Lizzie Borden and those types made - it was just a really really dark nasty story being told in porn form.

That's exactly the movie I saw. Definitely one of the harshest porn films I ever saw in a Pussycats theater, though there was usually 1 non-consensual scene in every movie of that era, sometimes a Lolita-ish scene as well. Porn movies got a bit more tame shortly after that.

Subtitles on Japanese porn - that's awesome. I'm a big fan of Japanese porn - Actionjav.com is one of my favorite sites - but there is no subtitling offered so I have no idea what is being said. While on one level I don't care, on another level I'm sure it would enrich my enjoyment for the material. I'm a huge fan of Stardom, a Japanese pro wrestling promotion that does subtitles for all of the promos before and after the matches and some of the trash-talking in the ring, and I wouldn't enjoy their stuff anywhere near as much as I do without those subtitles.
