Not really sure what Drooler means with porn portal? (Sorry about my internet ignorance)
Is that TBP, Porn Inspector ect.?
Or is it quite small ones like for exampel theNude.eu (guess the Drooler knows that one) and/or all the other amateur-sites where you get a lot of thumbnails for some free photos/clips that also redirect you to the site these photos/clips come from?
I saw(on national swedish tv-news)a story about this 19-year old swedish guy with a site something like porn.se (.se for Sweden) who contacted his local IRS and wanted to declare about 5 million dollars in income from his web-site - money from paysites his own site has redirected visitors to...
(I might consider to stop beeing a normal employee)

Of course Drooler is right:
Think about how many hours you've (we have) used organizing all that stuff on our hard drives - so, yes, a loss is almost unberable.
And BTW - after this poll I took a another look at my "savings" - and yes, some of the stuff I'll probably NOT be able to find again - and that's material - GEMS - I'll never clean out...

My answer is: Sad, but.....
Still I will see it as a disaster (I won't get depressed, though).
I got about 200 Gb of the finest porn-videos ever made.
And yes, if they where lost - SHIT!
On the other hand, it's still somewhat a feeling of getting born again -:) to clean out your HD.
And again: It will take a hell of a long time and too much money to regain that stuff.....so I hope my external HD won't break down.
In other and final words: Some of the GOOD OL' stuff is almost priceless...

Got the same idea as Drooler: When you join a site they often have that question: Add to your favorites...
I never go for that.
BTW, Khan: Why have you changed the setup at:

I miss the old ways where you could go directly from this page to lists, users and so on.

This is a matter of sharing - both good and bad experiences on the porn-net.

I joined this place loooooong time ago, it seems. And I'm still here.
I get good info from fellow users and I try to give it back.
And of course, I enjoy having a good debate, a good discussion whit fellow users - is that called "chat", I don't know.
Most other user have the advantage - they/you have english/american as native langauge - some of us from Europe/Scandinavia has to work our way through the english langauge......but, freinds, as long as we have the same goal - it's all great.
And PU is a fine place for .... yes, pornusers.

I first thought: This is a strange poll.
But after reading the inputs here - it's just fine - or honky dory, I think they say in England.
Of course Droolers reply is ok. But his reviews are not just ok - they are great - among my top-favorites. Vids or not.
And then Toadsith:

I dig that.
And, man. I agree with Jay G: I too read and write reviews to get og try to give good advise to fellow users.
I rely a lot upon the reviews at PU - more than other reviews.
Hope we all keep up the good work - even if some of us "oldtimers" once in a while get fed up with "nothing new" and all the shit hitting the fan...trying to grap our money.

There are a couple of european sites - don't remember which - where they talk real funny in the socalled interviews.
One site - russian I guess - this guy try to get the embarrased model to talk:

Guess - had these guys been into porn/pornsites as long as a lot of us here at PU have, they might be influenced by some sort of self-irony/self-critic - and avoid those foolish interviews...
I really like the part you mention with Lenka Horokovas answer.
And yes, if you can't do those interviews (if any at all) professionally - drop it.

Good and serious poll.
This is also what's importend when we (PUs and other users) go for a new site and spend our money:
There are so much shit and crap out there in socalled porn pay-sites that we may be doomed without some sort of consumer-awareness.
Apart from content in general the updates are what its all about.
Again - apart from the content - there are only a few sites that gives us our moneys worth in way of updates and most are in the Top Ten at TBP - allas.
Some sites gives you the stuff - like 1ByDay/1ByNight or Met Art or Twistys. We can discuss the quality on the other hand from now till Kingdom Come.....

Keep cleaning both my PC-harddrive (65 Gb) and the extern (300 Gb) harddrive.
Some of those movie-files sure takes up space, but still - some of the GOOD older stuff - I just can't delete - even if I don't watch it much - so maybe even more extern Gb....
