It's a little hard to find, but all you should have to do open a customer support ticket telling them you want to cancel. There's a Support link at the bottom of every page that should show you how to do that.
And yes, I think you need to cancel a couple days before renewal, but I'm not sure of what the exact number is.

Yes, for two reasons. The selection on the biggest ones is great (like pat362 said, there's generally videos there that you literally cannot get from anyplace else, and that alone can make them worth it). Second, the value gets to be bad when you're looking at buying hundreds of minutes to watch full length scenes. If you spend you minutes sparsely (I primarily use it to preview material from companies/sites I'm not sure about, and occasionally to watch parts of hard-to-find material), I could spend 20-30 dollars and have enough minutes for an entire year.

I think they debuted a "Twisty's Hard" section a while back with your basic boy/girl videos, but I can't remember how long ago this was so I don't know how many total hardcore videos they have up. Looking at their preview, it looks like they do one a week.

They tend to offer a sale on the site every few months, which I've seen go as low as $10 for the first month, but is normally around $15-17 for the first month. I'm probably gonna jump on the deal like that to check out everything I might like.

Emma Starr is really well liked by most of the sites fans as well, you might want to check her out (she has about 30 scenes on the site, so there's a lot to check out). Charlee Chase, maybe (and make you get the spelling correct, as there's a Charley Chase that is a young latina, as opposed to Charlee being a blonde MILF).

Almost never. It would have to be a payment processor with a notorious history of not letting people access the sites they paid for. If I head one is slightly shady with things like extra charges, I may still join, but use a pre-paid credit card to do so.

If you like that stuff, they've actually been shooting with this style for a couple years now, so I think you'll find a bunch of good stuff on their site, and they've been doing a good job of getting firsts for the last few years as well (for example, Tori Black's first anal and first DP).

The lack of camera angles is a definite negative, but it can be pretty good if done well. And it's the one genre of porn that I think will get better as technology advances over the next couple years (with interactive devices and workable 3D).

To me, C4S is basically the beauty of the internet coming to online porn. You can find nearly anything you want, and if you can't find it, you can probably ask someone else to make it. The problem, of course, is that it comes with "custom video" pricing, which is really, really expensive.
Basically, I love the idea of it, but the execution just isn't for me.

I generally check out the TBP listing because I know their criteria better than I know the criteria of any particular user, so I have a better baseline to judge from.
And as far as the exclusive thing, it's easy for any of us to judge because we've all seen each site we've joined ourselves. But TBP has four different people reviewing sites, and can go years between review the same sites over again, so if a site advertises itself as exclusive, and that specific reviewer hasn't reviewed any of the sites that share the content, how would they know that it isn't exclusive?

I know good and well that I went above 12 GB in a period of about 6 hours and never got cut off, so this is just really weird. I'm not sure I've ever seen a site impose a download limit on some members but not on others.

I've used Freeones to check out girls, but only for their pictures. I find the 2-5 minute videos are generally too short for me to get a full idea of how I like them as performers. And Videobox could work for checking out studios, but I've never had a Videobox subscription.

I still watch Haley Paige scenes to this day, and I didn't really start following porn stars specifically until after she died. It doesn't effect me, really, just like it doesn't effect me watching Casablanca even though nearly everyone in it (if not everyone) is dead by now.
