I'm sorry the site was disappointing for you, but glad you're able to explore new sites that might be worthwhile joins.
So you took one for the home team, which is always a good thing
(always better when it's someone else who spends their money on a disappointing site, most people agree).
Sites like Blacked, Tushy and Vixen are valuable when they have enough content to be worth joining, because of the excellent visuals, lovely models.
But the thrill seems to wear off after a while.
Maybe it's part of human nature to want fresh content, and the Mad Cheddar sites just seem to lose their appeal after a short while.
Or maybe I'm just getting older, and most porn is not as astounding or potent as it used to be.
Adult Time impresses me because of the massive amount of content (over 50,000 videos, in a wide variety of niches), and the quality at many of the sites is excellent.
That, combined with a low price (I love holiday discounts) makes a winning combination.
But the best site in the network, for me, is the Pure Taboo site, which I enjoy because some of the videos are like short porn movies from the 1970s, with a dirty plot and some lovely models.
I've done extensive background checks on suspicious PU members.
rearadmiral and Shen (the supervillain better known as brainiac, the green-skinned creature with computer cables coming out of his head, who sold his soul to the Darkside for help in writing PU reviews), and MrBison, the newest entry at PU for writing suspiciously outstanding reviews, are all characters I've sent files on to the FBI (proud investigators of Brett Kavanaugh, Trump's drinking buddy on the US Supreme Court.
There's a reason why the PU site and community has been hit with demonized gremlins.
And the PU staff is aware of this.
My unbiased recommendation for the Memorial holiday sale is Adult Time, which I've seen advertised for $7.50/month, although there might be even better prices around.H
Has the PU staff done any thinking on the award for best review of the month yet?
In past reviews, I was thoroughly impressed with Shen and MrBison, both relative newbies at PU who have submitted outstanding site reviews.
TBP is not always 100% accurate. TBP shows that you get access to EXGFBox with a membership to Teen Mega World. But as I posted in a comment on EXGFBox on 2011-04-12, you do not get access to EXGFBox with a membership to Teen Mega World. I had a membership in Teen Mega World until a few weeks ago, and I was never able to access EXGFBox.
AT&T screwed me on charges to my account.
Before and during the signup process with AT&T, the ATT customer rep told me that AT&T would waive the $99 installation fee.
That same salesperson also told me that AT&T no longer has contracts (in response to customer desires).
However, when I cancelled my AT&T accounts, I found that I could not depend on what the AT&T rep told me when I signed up.
AT&T told me I would have to pay a penalty of $125 for early cancellation.
I told them I was told by the AT&T salesperson that AT&T no longer had contracts.
I spoke to several AT&T reps, and they all told me I would have to pay the $125 penalty, and that either I was confused, or did not properly understand the salesperson when I signed. (AT&T does not have a contract for cell phone service, but does have a contract for the internet service.)
Also, I was charged $99 for installation of internet service, even though the salesperson I signed up with told me the fee would be waived.
One AT&T rep later told me the salesperson made a mistake about the $99 installation fee waiver.
A different AT&T rep did not say the initial rep did not make a mistake, but said they were definitely charging me for the $99 install fee.
Sorry for the details on how I got screwed by AT&T.
But I'm pointing out that you can't depend on what customer service says, or what a salesperson says, even from a company as big as AT&T.
At the AT&T signup, I asked for copies of what I agreed to, the sales person talked to a manager, and she said AT&T does not give out copies of what I signed for.
I was signing on an electronic device, that accepted my signature, but did not give me a copy of what I signed for.
And the salesperson said the office would keep a record of what I signed for, and that it would show the $99 install fee would be waived.
Except when I cancelled my AT&T contract, the salesperson I spoke with said the copies of what I signed for were no longer at the office I signed at.
So it was my word of what I was told, versus AT&T policy, and AT&T can't take my word over AT&T policy.
So I now think AT&T has the morals of a used car salesman.
End of rant.
But useful in knowing that you can't take the verbal word of a sales clerk or a sales person.
It has to be in writing.
And you need to get a copy.
And if you don't get a copy, you are signing at your own risk.
Even though there are many videos that I don't appreciate, I think the network has enough videos that are to my liking that I think it has value for me.
Having said that, my review implied that the network could easily have enough videos that might be appreciated by others for it to be worth joining.
Both my score and the facts/opinions I wrote implied the network has value.
But I definitely think the navigation of the network could be improved. Just my opinion. But I don't find the network as easy to use as other "mega-sites" that have a large volume of videos.
I think the navigation has been improved somewhat, because many years ago, I seem to remember that if you wanted to switch from one site to another, you had to re- login to the new site you wanted. That is no longer the case, you can now switch sites without have to re-enter your username and password.
Also, as part of the navigation, the thumbnail listing of the pornstars has improved. Several years ago, there were many blank spaces in the thumbnail listing (with no picture of the pornstar, just a name). And I believe the thumbnail images are also improved, whether it's a larger thumbnail, or a better picture of the model, from years ago.
But actually, to enter the PU web site, or to become a member, you also have to "state" or agree that you are of legal age, explicit material does not offend you, etc.
Just the way you have to operate, with the laws you need to be careful.
I went to see a dentist, had to sign an agreement that any disputes would be settled by arbitration (instead of in court), and that each dentist had their own separate practice, that you can't sue or arbitrate against all the dentists in the office or practice, just your own personal dentist.
We need to have are own personal lawyer with us, whenever we see a dentist, go to the hospital, etc., to be sure we are not giving up our legal rights.
They probably figure, if it ain't broke, why fix it.
Same thing with the pre-checked cross sale that you have to un-check on signing up, or else you are automatically signed up for a trial subscription you probably didn't want.
If they improved navigation, got rid of the cross-sell, the site would be more attractive. But I guess they think they are offering a lot of value for the money, anyway.
But like I said, the PU discount of $9.95 is only for one month. After that, the price renews at $29.95/month. So it pays to cancel during the first month. And then re-join later, if you want more time at the site.
As for value, the special PU/TBP $9.95/monthly price for network access is a great deal.
But I also think that the Teen Mega World (Royal Cash) network at $19.95/month for network access is also a great deal.
And Metart, even though a single site, at $19.95/month, is also a bargain. Metart is so large that it could be split into many decent-sized solo sites (which I am glad they did not do-even though they have Metmodels, which is a smaller, sister site of Metart).
Thanks for the kind words. But please feel free to write a review on this site, or any of the sister sites in the network. Some sites have gotten many reviews, some of them similar, but it still can be interesting and/or useful reading what each person thinks, whether the reviews agree or disagree with each other.
There are times when you read two reviews on a site, and wonder if they are writing about the same site. But I think that whatever most people write has at least some value, as long as they follow the general guideline of giving some positive, negative, and bottom line details and opinions.
Call porn access or devils film by telephone (there is a toll free number to call) immediately to cancel your trial subscription.
If you don't cancel, your trial subscription will normally convert to a monthly subscription at a much higher rate than what you would pay with a PU discount. You could easily pay $30 or even $40 a month when the trial subscription converts to a monthly subscription.
I got stung the same way, when I signed up for Devils Film the last time. I looked for the pre-checked offer, but did not see it, and was charged for the trial. I immediately called on the telephone to cancel the trial, within minutes of signing up, when I was notified I would be charged for a trial to porn access.
I could not get the telephone representative to cancel the charge for the trial sub, but she did cancel the trial subscription, so it would not turn into a monthly fee.
I never used my trial sub to porn access, but at least it did not turn into a monthly fee.
I did not say the older material has been re-edited.
What I meant was that, if they would re-edit the material and give it the higher resolution of what some sites provide, that the value of the contents would be much improved.
What I meant to say was that I understand your disappointment with the site because of the better, clearer, higher definition videos that can be found at some other sites.
But for people who have not seen the material at the Devils Film network, because of the low price, large amount of content, and variety of content, it's worth checking the site out in spite of the lower resolution of the videos.
Sorry you were so disappointed on your last join. I agree the video quality is not the higher resolution you can find at some sites, and it would be great if they could remaster or increase the quality of the videos. What they do offer is a large collection of many DVD video categories, almost all of which you have seen with your prior memberships. And the PU discounted price of $9.95 is a very low price if you haven't seen these videos before.
But at least you have Teen Mega World and some other sites to fall back on. Wouldn't want to quit cold turkey on your porno addiction. :)
Good reviews of this and a few of the other NetFame Solutions network sites. I think there are about 5 sites in this network that have the most value, and Devils Film is one of the best in the network.
