Explicit is in the eyes of the beholder, the same as personal taste. In the United States, Playboy used to be prosecuted for obscenity, and that is a softcore magazine that in those days basically showed a few solo girl spreads with nudity but no masturbation or any sexual
action at all. Around the 1970s, I think (not really sure, my memory is really poor sometimes) a lot of drugstore and convenience store chains in the U.S. were forced to stop carrying Playboy because of public sentiment and lawsuits. Those stores that did carry Playboy (and Penthouse and most certainly Hustler) had to keep the magazines hidden away from public view because minors might be corrupted by the magazines. So the stores that carried Playboy kept the magazine in a special adult section or hidden away under the counter.
I don't know if Playboy is still being prosecuted for pornography in the U.S. today, but back in the 1960s, 1970s, etc., when it was being prosecuted, it was more softcore than what you find at Met-art or Femjoy, which are major softcore sites today. By that, I mean the pubic area back then was covered with natural pubic hair. Today you see the bare look at Femjoy and Met-art, with no hair covering the pubic region, so the pubic region is much more exposed, or completely exposed today.

Basically, the first post quotes a newspaper article stating that it's illegal to make money from porn films in Victoria, Australia, and that the police raided the office of G Media, which runs the Abby Winters web sites.
The long-term future of the G Media company, and its web sites, is apparently unclear.

I normally watch and download videos in 480p, since they load faster with a slow internet connection, and take less space on the Hard Drive.

I'm a diamond member, and the way the web pages load, on the Updates page for All Fine Girls it shows updates-and you don't realize it's for the other sites in the network.
As I mentioned in my review, they used to have a blog where they sometimes mentioned site news, members could ask questions, post comments.
But they dropped that feature years ago.
The blog was helpful, because you could learn from it.
The sites and network at Dielse Access Network (or whatever their current name has changed to) do a poor job of telling members what the news is, any changes to the sites, whatever.

My impression is that some of the gravure models who do nude work start that late in their career (after losing or not getting the popularity/attention they were hoping for?). A few will even get into hardcore.
But the major work of gravure is non-nude photography. Because the girls can be lovely, and the photography so excellent, the photos can be erotic as well. I can't stress how lovely some of these models can be in their photos.
But it also appears that this site is showing a lot of non-exclusive photos. These were photos taken over the years, not for this site, that were already published. And this site has collected a number of these photos and is posting them to make its contents much larger than it would be otherwise. I was looking at one model at this site, a lovely teenager (I'm not a member, I was looking at the preview area), I looked the model up on the internet, and it turns out the model is now in her early thirties. Japanese girls can look much younger than their real age, but this photo was taken many years ago, when the girl was still a teenager.
She's not the only model who has pictures taken 5-10+ years ago that are posted at this site.
As long as you have a good understanding of what the site contents will be before you join this site, you might be satisfied with your membership.
But someone who expects a lot of nudity will probably be disappointed.
Also, the number of photos for each model is pretty small. You see a model you like, you will only get a tiny taste of her.
My suggestion would be to post your question in the "Threads" section of PU, with details that might focus the possible suggestions.
There are a few PU members that have experience with Japanese porn sites, but I don't know how recent that experience is.
If you are like me, you will probably find All Japanese Pass and JAV HD somewhat disappointing, because they don't display the true beauty of the Japanese models. Which reduces the impact of the videos and photo sets.

I was into Japanese models about 6 to 10 years ago, even collected model books and had some knowledge of the AV models.
But that was a while ago.
There are several Japanese sites that are covered by PU/TBP. I would read the PU reviews first, because they give a clearer picture of what the sites are like.
Two main ideas to keep in mind:
Are you comfortable with the mosaic censorship? If yes, that widens the sites that might appeal to you.
Do you currently have a basic knowledge of the AV stars--especially the ones you might want to follow?
If yes, that would help narrow the sites that might appeal to you.
Based on my approach, I normally focus on the best looking models. Then I look at their solo, lez, boy-girl video offerings.
The other types of videos don't hold as much interest for me: group sex, bukkake, etc.
The quality of the videos/pictures can make a big difference (for me, anyway).
You watch the videos or photos of Maria Ozawa at All Japanese Pass, or JAV HD, and you won't realize how fucking lovely she can be in other sites. Not that the quality at All Japanese Pass or JAV HD is terrible, but it's not the excellent quality you can find at some Japanese sites, or the quality that is shown at X-Art in their videos and photosets.
Maria Ozawa was one of the biggest AV stars until she more-or-less retired some years back.
The same is true for how the videos and photos illustrate the other models: their beauty/attractiveness is degraded by the lower quality of the videos and photos.
Again, I am not talking about the lowest quality videos at the two sites: I am talking about their highest quality settings for their videos.
But their "high quality" settings don't show the true beauty of these models.
Which takes away much of the value of the videos and photos.
